Earthborn Omegas #1

Captive Omega

Rate this book
The invasion is real. And so is the unbreakable bond between an Alpha and his forbidden Omega.
I've been studying the stars and preparing for the coming alien invasion. But there's one thing I could never be ready for: the way my body responds when I come face-to-face with an Alpha. Stolen from my family and taken aboard a glittering spaceship, I must make peace with the fact I'm an Omega—and that I'm promised to an alien on another planet who I've never met. As I make my way toward the unknown, I find myself drawn to Drax, the stubborn, cold Alpha who commands the ship. The primal attraction between us might just be our undoing.

Abducted, scared, and filled with confusing desires, I learn the galaxy will soon be at war. Can I find a way back home? Or will I discover that home is wherever Drax is?

Don't miss Captive Omega, the first of the Earthborn Omegas series by Riley Carver. If you like omegaverse stories, alien warrior romances, happy endings, or handsome Alphas who are always in control, you won't be able to put this book down.

Cute and sweet

A very nice short story that didn't go into a lot of spicy details which is what I expected. That's alright through as this book has a very strong characters and plot

Taken

Imagine finding out aliens are real and have come to take you away as you are an Omega which means that you can be bred to produce the next wave of soldiers. Kira never expected what happened to her when she was taken by Drax and she has no idea why she has such an attraction to the annoying Alpha alien I would highly recommend this book to all lovers of great romantic alien tales. I hope readers find this book as much fun to read as I did.

Pretty good for a short read

It's not quite what I'm used to, heat-wise, when it comes to an omegaverse, but I really liked the character and story development. All of the main characters had their own arcs and progression, which is difficult in such a quick read. Nothing is rushed. I really wish it had been longer and a little spicier but other than a little more editing, I can't find any negatives. I can't wait for more from thus world.

Far more than i was expecting

Right if I am honest usually Alien romance isn't my cup of tea, however I was seriously surprised by this book and its author. It was well written which has been my main quibble with books of this type in the past. The story was gripping, the characters likeable and relatable and the ending hinted at the promise of more to come. I really hope these characters have cameos in future books in this series as I'm not ready go say goodbye to them yet. Roll on book 2.

Decent story decent writing but

It was lacking in the intimate parts it was all wham bam thank u ma'am done over with sorry I prefer my stories to have a little more spice to them. Also it was very confusing one of those trust no one story lines and then she just slams everything in and wraps it up as quickly as possible. I would say this series has potential but she needs to try harder next time

Eh...

I really wanted to like this more. I rarely leave a review but I want to give everyone a chance to know that the ending was pretty awful. Almost unbelievably abrupt with no explanation to how they got there
Spoiler - they escaped their spaceship during a rebellion using an escape pod ... the the next scene is the epilogue where she’s back on earth, pregnant and attending her sisters wedding. They’re in hiding from the rebellion and then the book ends.

Short and Exciting

A very good story and well edited for a change. So many Indie published stories and novellas in this genre have editing and proofreading errors. This one didn't. The idea is original because I for one have never seen or read a sci-fi alien Romance combining the omnigravase non shifter Alpha with being an invading and kidnapping alien male MC. Planetary warfare is the genesis of the book. I enjoyed it and I hope you do too.

Slow burn

This story took me a while to get into, but I just couldn't not read it. Toward the end, everything went very fast. I would have enjoyed the story more if it was a bit more balanced. That's why I give it 4 stars.
The storyline itself was very good and this book is well worth the read. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

Like a “B” Movie

There is no build up to the storyline; the reader is thrust into what seems like a book that has already started. Some of it is hilarious. There is action, romance, and treachery to make things interesting. The storyline would have been much better if time was taken to develop it; just seemed rushed. Hopefully the next book in series is better.

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC 😁

I truly enjoyed this story and the storyline was written so well it kept my attention from page one 😃. Definitely a different way to grab Omega's, then to find out there's a war and then find Love 😍. Thanks so much Riley, I haven't read a lot of your stories, but I sure loved this one and looking forward to the next 🤓.

Started out strong but ending wrapped up far too quickly. I do appreciate that it wasn’t a cliff hanger but I definitely have questions. Looking forward to the next in the series to see if they are answered there

There was SO MUCH POTENTIAL here! It started out strong- new and interesting ideas for the genre, but then rushed to the end. And there was ZERO passion between the h and H. Like it came time for sex and the author closed their eyes and hoped for the best. Disappointed.

good stuff

Pretty good Omegaverse story. Gets moving right away. Not much for passion but there is mystery and deception. Overall happy with the story
