Transcend is the conclusion of the Celestial Academy Trilogy.

School is back in session and we are no closer to getting my dad back. To make matters worse demons have been getting through to Earth at an alarming rate. Hell on Earth is coming, unless I can stop it.

In order to save everyone and everything I love, I have to face my fears. With the help of Tobias, Asher, Oliver, and Reve, I know I can do anything. Even if that means going to a place that sends shivers down my spine.

Inferna isn't for the faint of heart. It's called hell for a reason.

Not everyone will survive.

Will I?

Transcend is book three in a trilogy and a continuation of Ascend and Descend. This novel is full length and reverse harem. It contains multiple POVs.

The solution to the prophecy was honestly disappointing.

So much could have been done with the plot the MC was half demon and half angel and it just wasn’t. The whole way through she was basically just human and it was lacking.

ugh - spoilers

I am kind of unimpressed. I was close to not finishing this book because I got bored half way through. It just got more and more mundane. Dani really is stupid. If all it took was for her to stab her mum and set her on fire anyone could’ve done it. She really wasn’t very special or wise or bad ass. She’s just a boring character generally. Shame it had no depth. I liked the first one.

You made me cry

Right, I cried. That's just wrong. Okay, it was happy sappy tears but still.... I love this series and do not want it to end, but she gave me a HEA what am I supposed to do?

Danica is finally called up to show the readers what she's got and while she did fulfill her purpose, for me it felt a bit anti-climatic tbh.

Her harem continues to be the saving grace for this book and I thoroughly enjoyed getting more of their backstories especially Reve.

From a world-building perspective, I think we could have benefitted from less academy and more Inferna and other locations.

The plotline continues to be monotone but I did enjoy the slight twists and turns along the way

I am begging the author for #JusticeforDaddyDevil because he was mistreated. I think it's interesting that I feel so badly for him knowing everything he is supposed to be representing but who doesn't love a good daddy?

There seems to be echoes of a spinoff based on how things were left off which I would read if I got more of the pure sweetness that is Olly.

Not what I expected

This was lacklustre, book 3 was unnecessary, probably would have gotten more stars if this book hadn't wound me up. This feels more like it was fleshing out the love story between Ollie and Asher. You could feel their relationship grow and strengthen between them, not with the heroine. I have nothing against m/m but it's really not what I signed up for. The reverse harem aspect here was not well delivered.

Why oh why did the heroine turn TSTL it was painful reading all the stupid she kept doing. I'm aware she was written not very smart from the get go but in this book she takes the biscuit.

Don't even get me started on the huge plot hole, she didn't actually do anything that required her to be half Angel half Demon. So all the build-up about her finding out what she was and needing guardians so she didn't die was pointless. 3 books and I'm just disappointed.

Cussing hasn't been an issue for me in the past, but the number of times Maya had "Jesus" used as an expletive in this series was ridiculous 🙄.
The climax is rushed. A 3 book long build up with a 2 page resolution. Questions are up in the air for a number of loose ends.
The bedroom scenes are boring and sparse.

This one barely squeaked by with a three. spoilers.

So the things that really annoyed me in book two just carried over into this one. Communication issues, doubts in the relationship, hiding things from each other. How are we still at that point by book 3? It annoyed me beyond belief.
Danica also got more annoying as this series went on. Mam, in what world did you think you were qualified to go to that demon attack? She is the reason people died and she should be upset by that. She has almost zero skills and is the only non immortal being, why go?
She is even super useless at the end of the book. Three books of build up and she really didn't even do much at the end except distract her mother by getting stabbed while Lucifer killed her. Honestly her characters lack of development bothered me a lot, and I just wanted her to grow up a little bit. If you are old enough to be an immortal being and marry 4 men you could be a tad bit more mature. ANYWAY.

This book also annoyed me because we have several conversations that include the guys saying they had decided it, or discussed it and made a decision. This annoys me for two reasons. 1) Why do they think it's appropriate to make life changing decisions or keep her out of the loop on her missing dad? Seriously. 2) why do we have dual pov at all if we aren't going to be a part of these decisions? I mean I guess we get both sides of a sex scene but it is no character development.

And then there is the biggest glaring issue with the last two books. Stressed? Sex. Afraid you are demon spawn and your boyfriends won't love you? Sex. Near death experience? YOU GOT IT. SEX. Now I love smut as much as the next girl but it just felt like nothing ever resolved in this book, and our characters never develop because as soon as an intense thing comes up they have sex and she "forgets" she was mad or "forgets" what she was talking about. I just was not a fan.

Great Series!!

I highly recommend this series!!!
-Mostly told from female MC first person POV, but her men’s POV sprinkled throughout.
-Female MC is 18, but very experienced. 4 men in her harem. Prophecy/fated mates.
-Heaven and Hell theme with angels and demons, but the story is not religious and there is not a clear line of good vs evil.
-Fast-burn, the steamy scenes aren’t overly descriptive or long and don’t overshadow the story. There is m/m and group scenes.

Finished series. Spin-offs planned with side characters in same world.

It was... terrible

So this series started off strong. I loved the first two books and was really looking forward to the final installment. But the entire book and series ended up falling flat with this one.

There were so many plot holes. Like when Danica screamed in book 1 and all the fallen magically surrendered. We're just never going to talk about, address, or bring that uo ever again?

The ending was completely anticlimactic. There was literally no point to her having demon blood or being half demon. We completely nixed that aspect of the story and just made her a full-on archangel upon death. What a bummer.

And let's not forget that the MM in this series is so unbelievable and out of place. The second Olly and Asher started entertaining each other, they stopped giving a single crap about Danica. Asher literally set her up to get hurt, and we just glossed right over that. Olly and Danica never actually made up after their fight in book 2. They just completely disconnected from her and only cared about each other.

Most of Danicas scenes are with Tobias throughout the series. The other 3 might as well be background noise at this point.

This book reads like the author didn't have a plan on where she wanted this story to go and just winged it. It did not come together in the end. Danica didn't even do anything special in the final fight. Yeah, she attacked Lilith, but really Lucifer is the one that killed her. So much for prophecy.

2/5⭐️ 2/5🌶️

——• Angel/demon RH with MM 🔥

This was so underwhelming that it actually made me sad...

I was rooting for this series despite all the bad reviews and let me tell you when it comes to the ending I just read, I agree. What in the world was all that build up only for everything to happen in literally 2 pages and for it to be the most underwhelming plot ending I have ever read. How everything came together at the end of the book felt nothing but rushed.

Also the relationship development between Olly and Asher frustrated me as one minute we could see them slowly falling in love and everything was so sweet only for them to all of a sudden be head over heels in love? It was like we skipped half the book so why the author felt the need to skip everything is wild but again, this whole book was shit.

This book was a disappointment to the series and now that I have read all of them, overall I would give everything 3 ⭐️ ...

I mostly liked it despite love hating the entire series.

And then the end ruined it for me. Besides it already being a too fast paced book lacking key details and more character development I couldn't handle the ending or the ending of the novella. I skimmed them both.

Why do RHs always need to end in marriage???!!! Can't you just be happy as it is and not make it awkward as fuck to watch unfold? And a baby? Ugh. Fuck that.

There were a lot of things I could criticize about this series but what bothered me most was how useless Danica was. She had no experience or training but would run into a fight and cause more issues. There was so much time where the guys could have been training her and they didn’t. I wasn’t even sure how she was supposed to defeat Lilith, but how things ended with her were a bit of a let down.

I was sad that the FMC never progressed i feel like she digressed. instead of becoming some half species badass, she become very whiney. I feel like there was so much potential for her character and by the end of the 3rd book I almost didn't want to finish it. she was a stalemate and that was a shame.

Actually more 3.5

I gave the previous books in this series 5 stars because of the plot and characters overall. I gave the author the benefit of doubt regarding Danica's character. However, she failed to prove Danica as a worthwhile character. She did not have any powers revealed in the ultimate fight, even though she was half demon and half Angel, she never showed any powers. She was not strong nor a warrior. She was a damsel in distress and always waited for someone to save her. It was pathetic, particularly since she was supposed to be the prophesied one. Instead she was a huge disappointment. I liked the other characters and I see some spinoffs coming up. Hopefully they will be better. The author has the potential to be better. I hope that a spin-off includes her friend Ava and the vampire demon Rick (at least i think that is his name) and the fallen Kai.

This was an interesting ending to this series. I did really like the storyline, it kept me entertained the whole time that I read it but it wasn't one of my favorites. My major complaint was how much it skipped around on time, I mean the first 3 chapters all took place over 3 months which wasn't too bad but it just to me didn't seem right. The major time jump that annoyed me the most was the ending though, the epilogue confused me on if it took place that same year or the next one. I did enjoy learning more about Inferna throughout this book, while we only got to see only certain parts it only gave a taste of the plane. I wasn't that shocked with how this story went, if anything it would have been more shocking if what happened didn't end up happen. Overall this was a good conclusion to Dani and her guardians story and I was happy with how it ended.

Loved it!!

I have read every series from this author so far and have loved them all! I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this one since all of the characters in the previous series had connections and we got to see them in previous books or at least hear about them, but that was not the case for dani so I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book. However, the whole series was great. There were a few times I wanted to punch dani or one of her guys for being pig headed, but they had the best intentions so it was easy to forgive! I’m sad the series has ended! Please, please, please tell me you will be coming out with a book or a whole series for Lucifer! He was so easy to fall in love with and I couldn’t help but feel so bad for him, he just kept getting hit with one deceit after another and I really think he deserves his own happy ever after!

Loved this series!!

This series was so much fun to read and I quickly found myself lost in the world this author has created. I loved all the characters but I think Lucifer and Reve were my favorites. The resolution of Lilith and her evil plan was some what anticlimactic, or at least the actual scene were she was defeated but the aftermath definitely made up for it because so much happened during that scene to Dani, Lucifer, and Reve.

I cannot wait to start the spin off series the author has created with some of the smaller characters from this book like Samara and Alaric. I highly recommend this series for anyone who loves drama, action, steamy RH, with a delicious helping of MM.

DNF 55%

Yes, I’m DNFing a 3 book series more than halfway through the last book and that should tell you all you need to know.

In case you need more: the sex scenes were a joke (legit, the first five-way happened in literally two pages), the character and relationship development was non-existent. Asher is…an alcoholic??? But dealt with without care, sensitivity, or any sort of delicacy. The MM relationship between Asher and Olly got more page time than Danica’s with any/all of the men. And speaking of our FMC, she is simply TSTL. Also, is the author sure the FMC is half Angel, half demon? Because she’s been written as an idiotic human for the entirety of these books.

5⭐️

This book wrapped up this series perfectly. The spice was 🥵🫠 and there is one scene with ALL of them. I do feel like some parts were a bit rushed or glossed over. Like after the first battle her friends at the academy are kind of forgotten. And the finale battle with Lilith I feel like was very rushed and anticlimactic. That’s about as much as I can say without adding a spoiler. The writing is done so well but I feel like this one could definitely been longer. I love their happy ending though. The last chapter with all the guys having their own speech and then the epilogue 🥹. Definitely recommend this series. It’s short and fast reads with lots of enjoyment.

I can’t believe it’s over. This entire Trilogy was amazing! Danica and her men Asher, Oliver, Reve, and Tobias were funny and sexy and always on and adventure. Mya Nicole definitely created a world full of mystery and action and twists. There were definitely heart wrenching moments and times when you just wanted to dive into the book and join the fun or help out your favorite character. This was full of suspense and I loved it. All of the characters were hilarious and just awesome. I can’t wait to read more by her! Maya Nicole you rock!

It's the end!

Good ending to the series with some surprises. Danica deals with a lot of emotions and tough things throughout the series from Asher dying, her Dad being taken, her mom stabbing her and feeling like a failure who doesn't belong, but she keeps trying and pushes forward. That's what I like about her. We learn more about Reve and Inferna as well which helps to set up the next series. Great story, multiple povs, and steamy scenes with some mm.

This ending is to die for

I loved, loved, loved this final in the series.
The characters have grown so much over the three books and developed in such an amazing way. They touch your heart and mind.
I will look forward to the follow up series for Sammy, Alaric, Lucifer and whoever the third is.

Went through hell

Danica has to go through Hell before her HEA, literally. This finale was quite a roller coaster ride with some twists and new characters that will be in a spin off series which sounds really interesting. Also finding out that Lucifer gets his HEA in a stand alone book made me happy. He has gone through a lot too.

Sweet ending to the series

At first, the FMC’s insecurities were starting to annoy, but eventually the story itself overshadowed that small detail for me. The ending was kind of just okay. I had expected as much and it was just there. What happened after that though had me melting with love and chuckling at Olly. Great ending for sure.

Unbelievably good

I cannot express how amazing this series was. I absolutely loved how the characters came together and developed over time. I'd love to have more on a few of the other characters, but I absolutely love how this series flowed and how it ended. I highly recommend this series.

😇

A good ending to a good series. The plot was great and the action interesting. While Danica didn’t always make smart decisions, her age can explain that away. Her relationships with her men were awesome. I hope to see a peak of them in a Widow.
