Wow, its hard to believe this is the end. We have suspence, heartache, and more. Gerwalta and Andreas have finally given into their love. They are hiding out in the one place they feel safe, but are they? What will happen now that she is pregnant? Can they stand up to their enemies? Will they all turn their back on them? Can they protect themselves and their child or will they all die? Who can keep them safe? I recieved a free copy for my honest review.

No spoilers below as I've mentioned things the author has already said about the series.

When Kendrai Meeks says that the last book of the trilogy is going to be "a painful one," you buckle up and dive in anyway.

She wasn't wrong.

Red & the Restorer was by far the hardest of the three books in the series to read--if you have read the Red Hood Chronicles series, you know the gist of how it ends--but even knowing that it was not going to be a HEA, it still surprised me how gutted I felt at the end of the book. I kept hitting the screen of my Kindle hoping to pull just a few more pages out of the story, not wanting it to end...hoping, hoping that there was something else. Gerwalta and Andreas are wonderful characters who have set up an amazing series set hundreds of years later in the Red Hood Chronicles.

Read the trilogy. Savor it and devour it at the same time. Know that it's painful. Then dive in to the RHC. You won't be disappointed.

An amazing and tragic end to the origins book 3. We see Andreas and Gerwalta come to terms with the choices they have made and try to escape the wolfretters that want their blood. They face a battle that they so desperately deserve to win.
In this book you just want to scream at the unfairness of it all, you feel all the pain and can’t comprehend the cruelty of her family.
The story was fast paced and action filled which keeps you reading.
This book gave me some very tearful moments due to the ending.
What an ending!!
Get ready you won’t want to miss out.

After reading the first two books in the series, this story did not have the ending I thought it would. Definitely some twists, turns and surprises in this book! Some minor typo's but well written storyline.
