Fast paced and full of drama
Ryder is in an accident that sparks the investigation into what occurred to cause such an accident. Rochelle and Sasha who run the racing franchise find themselves thrown into not only an emotional journey of their own feelings for one another, but an adventure of twists, turns and mystery in uncovering just what has been happening behind their scenes, and backs at the franchise.
This provided an exciting and unexpected story. Although a sports romance, it doesn’t focus so much on the sport but on the mystery of the suspicions of the dodgy dealings going on that the characters believe in. It is very much a story of conspiracy, secrets, and lies which creates a great amount of depth to the intricate plot. The mystery is very much that for the readers and the characters right until the end where everything is uncovered together.
I just wish this had been a longer book, with a little more interaction in the romance between the characters because they are brilliant personalities. I really hope we will see more from them in future.
There were a few character relationships going on in this story, and whole cast of wonderful personalities who contributed to making a great story but the main focus was Sasha and Rochelle. They had a great connection although it was a little rushed at times as the story took precedence over the romantic element but they made a nice couple and had great personalities. Sasha was an interesting character with hidden traits that I really think were portrayed well and played to the stories strengths, provided surprise and intrigue for readers. Whereas Rochelle was a dark horse with hidden talents, at first you weren’t sure what to expect from her but in the end she proved to be just wonderful.
I really enjoyed this drama filled story.

Didn't see that coming
Great book. It had some twists that I didn't see coming. Can't wait to see what Charlie comes up with next.

Hot Racing Action
Entertaining fast paced story centred around the racing world of fast cars, illegal drag racing, and murder. Plenty of racing action, steamy bed scenes, hot women, what’s not to like. Charlie Conwell’s writing keeps getting better and better. I am looking forward to reading her next book.

Good story but horrible editing
Misuse of commas throughout, Andrea’s name written as Amanda twice...enough to confuse any reader, yet it is a good story.
