2 Billionaires in Vegas

Rate this book
Secret underground Dungeon. Exciting Halloween Party. And two billionaires that are alpha AF and rich as sin.

Erin
I thought this was going to be extremely boring.
When Greer asked me to be her maid of honor of her Vegas “Halloween-themed” wedding, I couldn’t say no.
Yeah, I know.
Most people are in the Sin City to enjoy themselves, but I will be there only to do all the mundane wedding preparation.
Until I meet them.

Two sexy, domineering, utterly irresistible alpha males.
Ex-Marines. Best friends. Hot-as-sin. Intimidating and powerful.
Jackson and Caleb. The owners of the Dungeon.
One sets my body on fire. Rough, rugged, and rock-hard.
The other makes me tremble. Charming, arrogant, and dominant.
They say I don't have to choose. They both want to share me. Posses me. Together.

Trick or Treat? Let’s see what these two beasts will do to me…

Seriously? This is meant to be erotic? It’s meant to touch one’s heart? I haven’t read such drivel for a long time. The concept of a ménage a trois is potentially exciting in so many ways and when I read the reviews, I was ready for a romantic story wrapped up in some hot and sexy action. Well I was totally disappointed.

This was a banal, boring, pedestrian novella with one dimensional characters who never come alive and a plot which is non-existent! I skimmed through it after the first couple of chapters wondering what I was missing that everyone else was giving 5 stars to!

To make things worse, it is poorly written, the dialogue is stilted and clumsy and there are so many dreadful grammatical and spelling errors. One which continually annoyed me was the lack of understanding about the difference between ‘come’ and ‘cum’ in the sexual context.

The understanding of the BDSM world seemed superficial and dreadfully banal! If that’s what it was really like - I imagine few people would bother!

The sex scenes were mechanical, (a bit like painting by numbers), and quite frankly totally unerotic. I waited for a sense of excitement, of expertise, of imagination and romance. It was never present.

I found the relationship and character development absolutely non-existent. Sorry, I normally hate giving such negative reviews because I know how hard an author will try. Clearly she has an audience but it won’t include me. Makes 50 Shades of Grey look positively literary.

The book was okay, but nothing truly that special. It didn't grab my attention very early on.
The sex scenes were lack-luster and not that hot and tended to last about 2-3 pages; so it made it very anti-climatic for me. The BDSM was pretty light, which I usually like to read anyway; but the scenes never have a lasting impression after your reading. To me, it just felt like there was hardly any effort put into the story.
I wouldn't recommend this book.

Not really a halloween treat unless you count having a close to halloween wedding?!

Erin has been having a tough time since she dealing with happy couples and she broke up with a crappy ex, so wedding in vegas she to a club during the wedding week and meets Jackson and Caleb owners of a night club and BDSM club downstairs. Wanting to learn and be sandwiched between these two men things heat up and emotions are flowing.

But Caleb has a black cloud over his head he is dealing with his PTSD and its been getting bad.. Jackson knows but he doesn't know how bad.. Erin knows something since her father had PTSD so she knows some of the signs... when Caleb wakes from a night terror he yells at Erin to leave when she tries to help.

Heartbroken and upset she does.. until they both try to get her back.. but Caleb said something that has Erin scared so she doesn't want to be a couple with them.

Now with Caleb disappearing Jackson and Erin are desperate to find him and bring him home..

Idk if it counts but when they broke up.. jackson had Caleb run a scene with some woman but he never had sex with her.. just jerked off and his old teacher/mistress kissed him and did a scene with her (during the break up) sooo that was blah. To read..

Low agnst, no ow/om drama, drama, slight secondary chara, sexy times, no virgins

What did I just read?
Ok well I know what I read, a novel. But no, really, what on earth?
TBH I find much better stories than this on Literotica.com.
It was a wattpad writing at best.
I hate to rate books below 3 but I had no choice.

This story had everything in it for it to turn out great and it did start great, no it really did, but then it ended up being meh.
It had a great potential. Unfortunately "had".
And was this really BDSM? I wouldn't even put it in erotica.
The novel was from perspective of all three characters, it didn't really feel like that though. At one point I didnt read who's perspective it was, it was after I was one page into the chapter I realised,"oh it's Jackson's and Erin's"😑
No variation in writing for perspective of different characters.
The writing, The plot, The sex was all so flat.
It felt as in Nicole was given homework and she did it a night before, just for the sake of submission.
It wasn't even a one time read.
The cover is good
Then the synopsis seems so great
And then you read the book and it all falls flat.
I had hopes from this series and now I'm not sure I wanna go ahead.

Actually you know what? I'm sure I'm not going ahead with this series.

And my curse of "bad erotica" continues.
Dear Erotica God, plz uplift this curse I'm so done now.
Why is finding a good erotica so hard?😢😭

Nicole Casey Love inby Numbers bk 01 2 Billionaires in Vegas

I loved revisiting Erin Blaire Bellose, Caleb Treadway, and Jackson, one of my favorites books in the series. Truthfully, this book set my expectations for the rest of the series.

It felt as if I held my breath the entire time it took for Erin to get downstairs. I started to feel a strain in my chest by the time I heard a knock on the door.
-- Jackson

As I stated in my initial review, this is cute, funny, steamy, and loving. It also touches on the very real, very serious effects of PTSD on a person and their relationships. I like that Nicole didn't shrink away from the subject. And I love how Mistress Valentine recognizes the signs of danger and stops things.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror while I combed my wet hair. I didn’t look any different, but I sure felt different. I felt free, liberated, like I’d just opened the gates to something new and precious in my life.

I couldn’t wait to see what came next.

-- Erin Bellose

For my revisit to this trio, I read along with the audio book. The narrators are Tasha Morgan and Connor Brown. I really liked both of them, and the occasional accents thrown in for side characters were great.

Story: 5 stars
Narration: 4 stars
Listening Speed: 1.8x

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
What do you get when you take two marines and add a lawyer? One hot combo! This is a great first book to Nicole's newest series. It's cute, funny, steamy, and loving. It also touches on the very real, very serious effects of PTSD on a person and their relationships. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

"Yeah, there's another club downstairs called the Underground Dungeon. It's invitation only."
"Dungeon?" I asked, my interest piqued. "What does that mean?"

The first in a creative-looking series, with a new-to-me author, this book was a quick, easy read. The authors writing style flowed well, I was done this book way sooner than I expected! Despite the heavier content - - the book still carried a light, almost shallow feel to it which I surprisingly preferred in the end, rather then getting bogged down into the mental health stuff.

"If you aren't ready or aren't interested, you have to leave now. But after this, Erin, there is no going back."

I do wish the spicy scenes were more involved, or that maybe we saw more of the Dungeon before the gang found their HEA. One of my favorite parts was when Erin I also really appreciated the friendship Jackson and Caleb had.

We do plan to continue Buddy Reading this series with Three Bosses' Assistant: A Reverse Harem Romance in the future!

I went into this one expecting it to be just p*rn so I wasn't expecting much of a storyline. But it was pretty poorly written overall, which I wouldn't have minded had the smut been good! There were a lot of errors in the text and there was just no build-up to the spicy scenes so I got nothing out of them at all. The whole thing just wasn't executed that well.

Also, annoyingly, this wasn't the throuple book I was expecting as the two males didn't go anywhere near each other. Some MM scenes would have totally made this book.

I also hate the instalove trope and found it made no sense in this story.

Now onto what I did like: the mental health representation, getting all 3 points of view, that it was only 170 pages, and I liked it enough to keep reading. I also want to read the rest of the series, specifically because I hope they improve.

So Much Potential

I love menage romance and this had so much potential. The reviews are all great so maybe it’s just me? Note the story ends at 66% so it’s not a long read. Erin’s reason for leaving the relationship could’ve been resolved with some communication but ultimately they get their happily ever after.

Erin, swore off relationships but when she sets her eyes on Jackson and Caleb all those rules she set are out the door. The bar owners/BDSM dungeon owners set there sights on Erin. Jackson thinks Erin is what Caleb needs to get himself out of the depression he has been fighting for years but it won’t be that simple. This book was great. I liked that it talked about PTSD and that it isn’t just an easy fix. You will fall in love with Erin and her two kinky men

This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed this book. Erin is attending her friend's wedding in Vegas and she meets Jackson & Caleb at a club which turns out to be their club. She is new to BDSM and they instruct her in their lifestyle. I loved this threesome and the story revolving around the guys time in the service and their struggles with PTSD was really good. I'll definitely be reading more from this series and this author.

I loved this steamy read! Erin is in Vegas for her friend’s wedding when she meets Caleb and Jackson. Caleb and Jackson own a club and the lower level is a BDSM club, which they are happy to introduce Erin to. Caleb and Jackson were in the Marines together and Caleb suffers from PTSD but Erin helps them to feel better. Will she choose to be theirs? Hot read with plenty of drama, emotion and intense chemistry.

Erin is getting together with her best friend for her wedding but when most of the activities are basically fix ups with her and groomsmen she ends up bailing. She ends up going to a club for dancing and finds out it has two levels and one is private. When she asks about the lower level one of the owners pops up and tells her that he can tell her more about it and she follows him to his office. Jackson and Caleb own the club and were in the marines together. However Caleb suffers from bad PTSD from his time serving. When they get into the office she is introduced to Caleb and they tell her the lower level of the club is a BDSM club and if she's interested in it she has to be vetted. They get her info and end up doing a steamy scene together with Erin promising to come back the next day. Can Erin be the woman they were looking for? Is this the type of lifestyle Erin is looking for?

This is an amazing story that I couldn't put down once I started it. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Mixed Feelings About this Book

As a fan of menage stories, I was especially excited to see the BDSM aspect of the story. I have mixed feelings about this book. My gut feeling is that the author has no personal experience with BDSM, but did some research on the subject. The “scenes” felt forced and unnatural to me. At least the author had the characters “talk” about their hard limits. I do wish there were more bedroom scenes with the three of them - rather than one on one interactions.
The author did do a good job with explaining the debilitating effects of PTSD among our veterans. It is not an easy condition to treat and the simplest of things can cause a flashback at any time. Kudos for this.
The story also suffered from a number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Extra words in a sentence caused problems too. I am always disappointed that an author will work so hard on a story but not bother to have someone proofread it before publishing! I would be even more unhappy if I had paid for this book - thankfully I just borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited.

Erin catches her boyfriend cheating on her in her own apartment and has sworn off men and sex for a year. But then she meets Jackson and Caleb. Both guys are Vets and are best friends who share everything and who have their own battles to deal with.

When Erin meets Jackson in his club, he invites her into his office where she also meets Caleb and all three of them are instantly attracted to each other. They start a journey in showing Erin the BDSM lifestyle and she is hooked. They grow closer together and they eventually have their happily ever after.

Erin is determined to put dating and men behind her for a year, needing a break after a very painful breakup. Caleb is suffering from PTSD and he doesnt know if he will get past this fog he continually lives in and Jackson is the glue that bring the al together. I liked the characters and Erin's introduction to Jackson and Caleb's world, the romance was Hot and the real issues of PTSD is nothing to take lightly. Overall good story, and characters.

Very interesting story where a woman catches her ex cheating in her bed and then winds up at a wedding for her best friend as a brides maid. She is definitely not feeling very into it and you can't blame her, and her friend trying to set her up with someone just put her in a more I don't want to be here attitude. She does find solice in 2 billionaires who take her to their dungeon and perform a scene of BDSM and she finds that she is enjoying that a lot. I definitely recommend this book if you like stories about BDSM.

This was an unique surprise by Nicole Casey. The chemistry between the characters is hot beyond but it's the love the show and share for each other that make this book.

Caleb and Jackson have known each other for years and have been through more than anyone should. Adding Erin into the mix just improves things by leaps and bounds.

"They felt dangerous, but I didn’t feel scared. I felt alive."

3.5 Short & Sweet Stars!

I discovered Nicole through ARC opportunities & immediately enjoyed everything I read of hers. Naturally, she became one of those I actively looked for any opportunity to review for. When I saw this one, I was of course intrigued.....but wasn't sure how it would turn out in the end. It was another one I really enjoyed, but possibly the first of her heroines I wasn't a fan of. That didn't mean I HATED her or the story, not at all. I love how Nicole can tell a full story in a bite size way. Now there were more grammar issues than I'm used to, but I still loved the book.

Book Facts: Told from the POV of our three leads, this standalone novella features an unconventional HEA. After a nasty breakup, Erin has sworn off men for a year. Forced out of her cynical mood to celebrate her best friends Halloween wedding, she finds herself in need of a break from the love. Walking into Overground changes her life forever. Two guys, one with severe PTSD & one who will do whatever it takes to take care of that friend. The owners of the club & the dungeon underground. Three people who are just what the other needs for the elusive HEA they all desperately want.

Timeline of Thoughts:
Starting: I have enjoyed Nicole's work before, & I'm hoping this is just as enjoyable.
14%: I am already loving Jackson & Caleb's friendship & bond. However, Erin hasn't given me the same "warm & fuzzies".
21%: I NEED Caleb to have his HEA....seriously.
26%: This is about to get fun.
36%: I love the pace of this story, but there are way too many grammar issues. What is going on?
37%: Come on now, in BDSM everyone knows Dom is always capitalized to indicate the power vs sub.
77%: I have been so wrapped up in Caleb & Jackson. Seriously I love them....Erin not so much.
80%: Poor Caleb.
81%: I know what the next book will be & who it will feature.
92%: I'm not sure how I feel right now, considering they should be worried about other things.
95%: How in the heck did they get there that fast?
Finished: I just wanted Caleb & Jackson happy, so I guess I'm content.

"The Five":
Loves from Book: Caleb & Jackson's bond/friendship, Jackson's dedication to making Caleb happy, Overground, Mistress Valentine, Caleb getting his HEA.
Hates from Book: grammar issues, "underwear", Erin (for a good portion of the book), PTSD,  Erin & Caleb @ reception.
Quotes:
“I don’t know if it’s a scene for a pretty sorority girl like you.” “I’m not exactly Mother Teresa,” she said, rolling her eyes. “Besides, I’ve never been in a sorority.”
-Caleb & Erin

“Do you two share everything?” Again, they looked at each other before Caleb shrugged. “That’s a story for another time, Erin.”
-Erin & Caleb

I wanted to feel it. I wanted to feel something real. Pain was real. Pain was a way to feel alive.
-Caleb

“I’ll be there. I’ll be there for both of you. Forever.”
-Erin

“You’ve changed me,” Caleb said, rolling onto his side so he could look at me.
-Caleb

Final Thoughts (in "Five"):
1. There are a lot of grammar mistakes. I realize I read the ARC version but it was more than I'm used to as of recent. It also bugged me this is a book with a concentration on BDSM in their relationship, yet the author didn't research the correct way to capitalize Dom.
2. I was rather obsessed with the bond & friendship of Caleb & Jackson. At times throughout the book, I FELT the love they had for each other. Jackson's dedication to making Caleb "happy" seriously gave me the warm & fuzzies.
3. I loved the take on PTSD & the struggles Caleb faced. That despite all the money & the women, he wasn't always happy because nothing can make that just turn off. It was the most authentic of the book.
4. I wasn't a fan of Erin, especially some of the things she does in regards to Caleb (I can't go into detail to not spoil it). I get she is supposed to be cynical bc of her past luck with guys, but she is also insensitive at times.
5. I kinda wish there would have been an extended epilogue, but I have a feeling we might see glimpses of these three in the future.

Overall, despite the grammar issues this is another book by Nicole that I enjoyed. Its short but didn't skimp on the little things that made the story so connectable. Now I'm looking forward to the next MMF in the lineup.

"As the three of us stood there, watching our future bed built right before our eyes, I took their hands in mine, knowing we were going to be okay."

Jackson And Caleb Bonded During Their Service In the Marines, But It Takes Erin To Help Heal The Pain That Followed Them Home From Afghanistan!

Erin Blaire Bellose, twenty six, is taking her first vacation since starting at Carrigan, Hernandez, and Jones as a law associate in Las Vegas, her hometown. As a bridesmaid for one of her best friends, Greer, she is staying at a hotel near the Vegas strip for a week and a half along with the other members of the bridal party. Greer and John had opted for a Halloween wedding, but Erin isn’t into Halloween or the wedding. She is nursing a broken heart after finding her boyfriend, Braxton, in her bed with another woman. She has elected to take a break from men for a year.

Jackson, thirty-three, should be on top of the world. He and his best friend of over ten years went into business together a year ago, and today the Overground is an unprecedented success. The club is the hottest ticket in town. But not everyone knows that there is a second club underneath. The Underground is an invitation-only BDSM dungeon, and the best part of Jackson’s day. It has private rooms and viewing areas for those interested in exploring the kink. His best friend Caleb had first introduced BDSM to Jackson, and Jackson trusted him when he had the idea for the club. Jackson’s friendship with Caleb began when they served in the Marines together after college. Over time they became best friends. The horror of what they had seen and experienced in Afghanistan followed them home, however. Jackson himself dealt with it by reminding himself to live life to its fullest since life is too short. But Caleb still isn’t coping well, and it weighs on Jackson. They rely on one another in life and at work, and Jackson is the only one that really understands Caleb. Caring for Caleb doesn’t leave Jackson much time for anything else besides the business and casual flings.

Caleb Treadway, roughly thirty-three, suffers from severe PTSD. He can’t get beyond his experience in Afghanistan and his near-death experience. Things are getting dark again, his depression setting in. He once had hoped to have settled down, but none of his long-term relationships had taken. No woman wanted to stick around once they witnessed his nightmares or a depression set in. He had given up on the idea and enjoyed flings, enjoyed meeting new women, but that eventually became tiresome and boring. What Caleb really wants is to be loved unconditionally – something real. The only thing that still brings him satisfaction these days is work. He loves the club. He loves owning the Underground. BDSM had helped him cope when he first returned home to New York from the service, and he was proud to offer Las Vegas the Underground. But even that no longer got him out of bed every morning.

When Jackson sees a beautiful masked woman at his bar, he can’t take his eyes off her. When she innocently asks about the club below that she had heard of, he invites her to see for herself, expecting her to decline the offer. Per protocol he takes her up to his office first for a screening, but what happens next shocks him. Caleb actually smiles and laughs in her presence. He and Caleb agree that she is perfect for them. So when they explain what the club is about and clarify that they enjoy sharing, they are thrilled that she doesn’t shy away. But each of the three enters this new relationship damaged, so when things get dark and serious the new relationship is put to the test. The three eventually find their way to a happy ending.

Erin, Jackson, and Caleb find a connection with one another that helps to heal their pain in this easy read. The story is decently written, but there are several errors missed in editing. The plot is somewhat complex given the length and number of main characters. It is ambitious for its length, so it feels like things move from tentative to very serious quickly. Yet it does cover serious issues that may interest some readers, such as depression, PTSD, and the tight bond formed between the two former Marines. Erin happens to have a history that makes her a perfect fit for them. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Erin, Jackson, and Caleb. I rate this book 3.5 stars.

Contemporary romance with adult themes

For adults only (18+ years). Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including, adult language, semi detailed intimate scenes (MF, MFM, BDSM) and active / former military personnel dealing with PTSD.

This is the first book I have read in this series. It is between two veterans that open their own dance club, with a private BDSM club downstairs. There are themes discussing PTSD and some of the issues faced by former military veterans.

Erin is a recent college graduate that is working in as a law associate at a local Las Vegas office. She takes time off to spend with her best friends as one of them is getting married. She has decided to swear off men for a while after catching her long-term boyfriend cheating. Erin is truly happy for her friend but is struggling to maintain her false bravado in the face of all the happy couples.

Then one night she just needs a break, wants to cut loose and dance, so she goes to a club recommended to her. The Overground is a new club started by Caleb and Jackson, best friends bound together after serving in the military. While both are still adjusting to civilian life, Jackson is doing better than Caleb, who is suffering from night terrors and other symptoms from PTSD.

I liked how Nicole Casey wrote the introduction of BDSM with Erin. There could have been more information provided to the readers on expectations / roles with Caleb and Jackson, especially given the storyline towards the end. I won’t go into details, as that would spoil it, but wanted more as to why, how that would impact everything going forward, i.e. something to be incorporated, one off situation, etc.

The storyline had a decent flow even with the few grammatical errors found. Fortunately they were easy to figure out within the story.

Hopefully there will be updates on this relationship in other additions to the series.

I didn't really like this. Casey's writing style doesn't really speak to me. I was able to read the whole story - which is good - 'cause normally when I read this type of style I usually can't finish. So it wasn't as bad to make me stop all together.

There was a bunch of useless info in the story - so throughout I was skipping a whole bunch of paragraphs because what was mentioned went off topic, didn't contribute to the story, help with world building, or anything that really needed to be read.

The one thing about the story that pissed me off and made me disgusted was that she ran from the guys because the one opened up and became vulnerable to her and told her about his issues and how he's thought about suicide. She got mad at him and told him she couldn't be with him because of it - which obviously would send ANYONE into a spiral.
If her dad really did die of suicide, then she wouldn't of reacted the way she did. of course she wouldn't want to go through living when someone else she cared about did that to themselves, so I get that point - but the obvious thing is, he opened up to her and if she cared about him - she wouldn't of did what she had done.

The fact that the author wrote it like that really had me grossed out because suicide is a serious issue and you are writing a love story where this character is supposed to care so much about this man- but the second he becomes vulnerable and tells her something real and very important, you write that character to be someone so disgusting who runs from him when he needs her (when they already went through seeing how she would act in his time of need - the time it counts she acts like a brat) then expect us to believe that he would accept her back the second she finds him ? like come on.

idk if I am explaining the right way why that part upset me so much so I'mma stop trying.
This book just wasn't for me.

This book is an absolute must read! A great story filled with amazing characters, this is the story of Erin, Jackson and Caleb. Erin is a lawyer in Las Vegas and she is the maid of honor in her best friend's wedding. Spending a week and a half involved in wedding activities is too much for Erin as she has just come off of a breakup with her boyfriend after finding him cheating on her. After having enough of the games one night, she leaves early claiming a headache but finds herself looking for a club where she can dance and drink to loosen up a little. That's how she finds herself in Jackson and Caleb's club, the Overground. What she doesn't know at first, is that this place also has a BDSM dungeon downstairs. When she asks the bartender if the club is called Overground because there is something downstairs, he says yes but won't give her any other information. She gets that information when Jackson approaches her. When she expresses true interest, he takes her up to the office to meet Caleb where they give her an idea of what's in store and if she's still willing. She says yes and the next night, she starts her journey into BDSM with two amazing alpha males. Along the way, she finds that Caleb has a few demons he must battle and when he reacts poorly to her trying to help, she walks away from both of them. This sends Caleb back to New York and the first dungeon he ever visited in a deep depression. Jackson and Erin get back together desperate to find him after a week and when they do, Erin promises never to leave again. They come back to Vegas to start their new life together, as a family.

DNF’d @ 50%

In a nutshell: this book is boring, the characters are one-dimensional, the sex isn’t sexy, and there are way too many grammatical errors to ignore.

Just because you’re given a book for free with the option to review it, doesn’t mean you have to give it 5 stars and sing its praises. Give constructive criticism! Maybe then, it would’ve been a better read for me.

Anyway, onto my constructive criticism. The plot had so much potential with the hidden dungeon, but unfortunately the execution wasn’t there. I’m not into bdsm, but the lack of it in this book (with the premise of a DUNGEON) was unfulfilling. We got about 2 seconds of it before the boys tapped out and went for more vanilla (but not totally) sex in a hotel room. I felt nothing from the sex scenes, and definitely agree with other reviewers that they felt robotic. Very much felt like, “insert here, thrust, remove, cum, repeat with other man.” As for the characters, they’re all written the same and there’s no way to tell them apart except for a few key words. They each have their issues, but they haven’t really been expanded on I also find Jackson’s devotion to Caleb...odd. At least in the way it’s written. It sounds like he’s in love with him, which is fine if that’s where we’re going, but they’re very much focused on Erin and insistent that they’re platonic.

I don’t know. The whole thing just have weird vibes and the writing isn’t my vibe. I wouldn’t recommend this one.

Audiobook Review

Story: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (4/5)
Narration: 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ (4.5/5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️✨ (4.5/5) — Very steamy

Summary:
Erin is at a Vegas wedding and looking for a little escape from her post-breakup blues. Enter Jackson and Caleb, two ex-marines with a whole lot of charisma and a shared secret: they own a BDSM club. What starts as sizzling chemistry quickly turns into a whirlwind of passion, vulnerability, and healing as Erin finds herself navigating not just an unconventional relationship but also Caleb’s battle with PTSD.
While the story leans into its steamy, high-stakes romance, it also delicately explores themes of trauma, trust, and emotional growth. It's a mix of spicy escapades, heartfelt moments, and a touch of drama.

Review:
The dynamic between the characters is electric, with Jackson’s rugged charm and Caleb’s dark intensity creating the perfect blend of opposites. The setup felt indulgent and intriguing, but I wasn’t prepared for the deeper emotional notes the book hit.

Tasha Morgan brings Erin’s character to life with sass and heart. Her delivery feels natural, and her voice captures Erin’s vulnerability and boldness perfectly. Connor Brown does a fantastic job differentiating Jackson and Caleb, giving each their own unique voice. Caleb’s rough edges and Jackson’s warmth came through beautifully, and his pacing felt on point.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely—just keep those headphones in if you’re listening in public! 😉🎧🥵.
