I get really confused when it comes to what I've written and what I haven't written. But now that I think about it, this is definitely not a book I wrote. But I thought it was hilarious.
I haven't read Harry Potter yet, so I'm not sure if that's a series I wrote or not. But I definitely didn't write Tapping The Billionaire.

That cover is all kinds of sexy, but sadly we are not rating on covers lol Well, let me tell you that I started this on audiobook and I HAD to switch to ebook. I have never in my life been so annoyed by a narrator as I was by that lady. Just...no. I debated DNFing this a few times but I actually finished so I decided to rate/review. There wasn't anything that was glaringly bad about this but a bunch of little things that just didn't work for me. One of these was Kline's almost perfection. As much as we would want a Kline in our lives, a real man is not that unflawed. It sounds weird but he totally gave me that "too good to be true" vibe. Georgia, I found annoying. She's the chick that tries to be funny and isn't... inevitably causing you to roll your eyes. The "gesture" Kline makes to win Georgia back after a misunderstanding was a lot of bit over the highest top. How he arrived at that being what he needed to do is completely beyond me and nothing about the story led me to believe that would even be a possibility. It did get minutely better after I switched format but not by much. When they were intimate, it was pretty darn hot. Other than that, I was just mostly curious as to what was going to happen. Safe.

UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE! Really. Sweet, sexy, laugh out loud hilarious, and utterly addicting. From start to finish I was LOST IN Kline and Georgia. I swear, I have a fucking book buzz. Like a book buzz that makes me want to tap dance across this darn review!

It's been a couple days since I finished this, and yup...still didn't like it at ALL. $6 and change for a book. $6 and change for a book by 2 mysterious authors.
I should have known better.
So what exactly didn't I like about this book? For one, the heroine, Georgia, had a very masculine sounding 'voice' early on. She spoke crudely in a way that didn't work with me at all. Now, we all have heroines that curse like a sailor and come head to head with the best of foul mouthed men. For example, in RIGHT, by Jana Aston, the heroine, Everly, was also foul mouthed and inappropriate with her antics. But for some reason, she didn't come off as crude and masculine. It's all in the characterization and ability to provide a female voice that's both comical and realistic.
Georgia was a successful and smart woman in her mid-twenties that sounded like a successful guy in his late twenties. Eventually, Georgia sounded like the woman she was, but by then I was turned off.
The second thing was the hero, Kline. He sounded like a guy always ready with a line. He came across as weird suave but we're told he wasn't a manwhore. The relationship between him and Georgia suddenly happened. It was like from zero to sixty and I couldn't understand it. Some of the stuff Kline said were so weird cheesy...
"Christ, baby, when you catch fire, you motherfucking burn."
Mixed with his Rico Sauve other one liners, I was completely turned off.
Georgia wasn't any better, mind you. As the book went on, my irritation brewed. I considered DNF'ing several times, but the money I paid? I at least had to finish. Here are some of her gems*insert sarcasm*
While in the throes of passion, Georgia was coherent enough to say...
"This is the best orgasm of my life!"
Really, Georgia? Was it the best? You're still talking in full sentences.
While addressing Kline...
"Christopher Columbus my pussy prideland!"
ugh, really? I understand some people might find that hilarious, but I just can't. So not funny to me, but loads of crass.
On top of not liking the main characters at all, there was too much sex, too much eye rolling scenes and the big miscommunication was so irritating. I understood why Georgia got upset, but Kline? You're an idiot. I usually try and stay away from the whole billionaire plot, unless it's completely different. I wish I stayed away from this one.
Needless to say, I forced myself to finish, literally skimming the second half. I wasn't invested in Georgia, Kline or their relationship. I didn't care about what happened but I needed to not DNF a book that cost more than my average read. Lesson learned.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this book. Unfortunetly I'm just not connecting with it on any level. I love the funny and sarcastic in my romance reads as much as the next gal, but it's all missing the mark for me here. Better to quit while I'm ahead and not in the mood to throw anything quite yet.

At the beginning of the weekend I couldn't find anything to read that was actually grabbing my attention. So after some mild complaining to my friend she practically begged me to read this series and I gave in. And now after devouring not only this book, but the next two in the series as well, I could kiss her for this recommendation.
I honestly loved this couple and couldn't get enough of them. They were funny, and sexy, and so open with their emotions I felt like I was in their relationship along with them. Georgia's quirkiness had me laughing hysterically on more than one occasion, and just like Kline I found her adorable.
Overall, I'm ridiculously happy that I finally started this series and got to meet these amazing men. I'm definitely a fangirl of Max Monroe now and can't recommend this book hard enough.

This was my first Max Monroe book. I've been wanting to read their books for a while, and I'm glad I started doing it. Honestly, I can't wait to read more. I was feeling kind of emotional at the end of it, because Kline and Georgia were so freaking sweet, while still being very hot.
"If he is a crime, then by God, get the handcuffs ready, because there is no way I can resist him."
Kline is perfect. He's the CEO of a media company, and he's a billionaire, but very much unlike the common ones. He doesn't live in a mansion or own and drive fancy cars. He doesn't have people waiting on his every whim - in fact, his life is kind of normal. He's humble, nice, and caring, and so sweet and hot I can't even...
"When the corners of her lips tipped up despite their connection to mine, I knew I’d never experienced anything sexier than a woman unable to withhold a smile while we kissed."
I loved Georgia and her little quirks. I love how she owns who she is, and the fact that she's a virgin simply because it never happened. She hasn't been waiting for prince charming or the perfect guy, and she's not totally inexperienced (thank you, I'm tired of seeing virgin heroines who apparently have never heard of the internet!).
"I’m not sure. I’m feeling particularly attuned to your neck and back, and, well, the rest I’m not sure I can say in an office environment."
So, they work at the same company, and they have been around each other, but it never clicked between them. Until it does, and Kline finally sees Georgia as the gorgeous woman she is, while she sees him as a lot more than just her very professional boss. One disastrous date that involves Benadryl, and you can totally see these two are meant to be. I mean, they're perfect together.
"Be angry," I told her. "But, please, for the love of God, do it while you’re touching me."
The twist? His company owns a dating app and the employees are encouraged to open their own account there. So Georgia is talking to Ruck, and Ruck is talking to Rose. Yes, you've guessed it, it's sort of a 'You've Got Mail' situation, only with more flirty banter and a lot more hot sex.
"I’ll agree to anything you want as long as I get to keep you forever,"
You can clearly see how much their relationship is progressing. You can see how their online personas are just friendly to each other, because their real-life ones are very much head-over-heels with one another. Kline is the one who makes the connection first and realizes Rose is Georgia. Instead of both of them coming clean, they don't, and it almost costs them everything.
But Kline is good at groveling, and winning her back, so yeah, it worked for me.
"And, I promise to be late as often as I want because you’ll always be waiting."
This was cute, sweet, and sexy. It wasn't an unusual story, or a very original one, as we've all seen it before. But the authors' voice captivated me, and that's all it takes. I was laughing out loud at so many moments, and I was lost in both of them.
And their HEA? It's absolutely fucking perfect, and so very them.
I feel more single now than I did on Valentine's Day, thank you very much. And I'd recommend the shit out of this book, especially if you need a rom-com in your life right now.

☾It's 2:27AM and I've stayed up all night to finish this book. Kline Brooks isn't your typical billionaire - he's humble, nice, and a perfect gentlemen. When he starts chatting online with a girl named Rose, he doesn't know what's about to hit him.
☾Georgia Cummings is an employee for "Big-Dicked Brooks" also know as Ruck - the guy she is chatting it up with online under the name of Rose. See where things start getting a little twisted?
☾When Kline makes a move on Georgia, the two have no idea that they are secretly talking to one another online - that's until Kline starts putting the pieces together. When Kline uncovers the truth about "Rose" instead of telling her the truth, he uses it to his advantage and continues the charade.
☾Honestly, trying to sum up this story in a short review would never be possible. All I have to say is stick to the end! I was SO close to putting the book away for good due to its slow nature, but stick it out! Once you make it 50% of the way, you'll be hooked.

Thank goodness I didn’t judge this book by its cover or title.
Tapping the Billionaire is the perfect example of each to their own and all that jazz. As readers and reviewers, we are not all alike and that’s a bloody good thing. What’s candy for one reader is brussels sprout for another. I started reading this one completely blind. I don’t remember buying it so I can’t remember what attracted me to it. I’m a bit over the abs of steel so I know it wasn’t the cover. If I can’t remember buying it, I definitely can’t remember what the blurb was. And that title…a little too crass and not something I would normally associate a female saying or thinking about a male. BUT…something drew me to it.
I’ve had an extremely busy beginning to my year and yesterday was the first day in donkey’s years that I could allow myself a full day of reading. Maybe it was just my mood and my need for some lightheartedness, but this book CRACKED ME UP!! At stages of this book, I was laughing so hard I had tears and had to read to my hubby scenes that had me busting a gut laughing. As per usual, hubby just nodded his head and smiled at me, but I know he was happy to see me happy (like I said, crazy beginning to the year).
Tapping the Billionaire was a little escape from reality. Maybe that is being a little judgemental of me. Who am I to say that billionaires can’t be normal blokes who live normal enough lives…who just have a little extra change in their bank accounts? Could it be, the escape from reality is because this guy wasn’t a douchewaffle who got to the top because of his douchewaffle ways? I wonder if it’s considered a wee bit fairytale…ish because this guy has emotions and feelings and wasn’t afraid to accept them and share them? Oh well, I’ll take this escape from reality (if it is) and enjoy it.
So, we’ve established that I was in the mood for funny and I got it in the wacky and slapstick way that I have been known to love. I fell in love with the dashing fairytale billionaire who was sweet and romantic. What I have yet to tell you about is my favourite part…the heroine…Georgia/Wheorgie/Benny/Georgie. Georgie has great friends, a job she loves and a backbone and strength that I admired. She isn’t someone who settles for second best and works hard to get what she wants. Georgie is also very honest with herself…most of the time. When her boss asks her out, she asks questions, analyses the situation and makes a decision that is far from rash. I liked her and I wanted to see her find happiness.
I got exactly what I wanted from Tapping the Billionaire with the laughs, swoonies and touch of angst to keep the story moving. I will admit to having some hesitancy when I first started the story. The author does not give you the real Kline Brooks in the intro. He comes across as the same as all the other billionaires I’ve met before…egotistical and self-absorbed. As we get to know him we are given the real Kline…BUT…my first impressions, not good. As I mentioned above, the cover and the title do nothing for me either.
Now, because I’m a great reviewer (tooting my own horn) I just went and checked the price of Tapping the Billionaire and it’s BLOODY FREE!! (I'm having an AHA moment...maybe that was why I bought it) I am totally gobsmacked, to be honest. Not one to judge…ok, maybe judge a wee bit…but I don’t expect to receive full satisfaction from a book that is $0.00. I wasn’t asked to read and review this book, this was chosen by me and I loved it enough to share my love for it.

5 "Laughing my ass off adorable" stars
This book is hands down one of the funniest book I've ever read! I saw a lot of reviews, mixed emotions towards the heroine and her quirkiness and humour. Well, damn, I can safely say that it's like this book was literally writen about a person like me. Georgie is my spirit animal and heroine-twin from every angle! This made reading this book even more entertaining. Now I am going to think that in some way this book is was a show off about my future life and the man of my dreams who will come so unexpected but oh, so amazingly, in my life and knock me off my feet ;))))
The banters were HILARIOUSSSSS! Every damn character was funny in their own way. Unique, sweet, cute, adorbs.. whatever you choose, you will find it in this book!
Kline was epitome of the perfect man! You will never guess that a billionaire, enigmatic , young and sexy man would be so humble, sweet and thoughtful. He was the man with a big and soft heart. Who believes in true love and the one woman who can change his life. But let's not forget his filthyyyyy mouth! Oh boy, mama like, holy Christmas! This man and his delicious mouth would break any walls of any woman. Of course he only had eyes for the precious Georgie (a.k.a. ME) and his hot ass hell dirty talking was safed only when they were alone and together.
His was so smart and funny and outgoing. The perfect man for the crazy head but also smart and beautiful - Georgie! Their connection was sizzling hot, irresistible and refreshing. I enjoyed every page till the end. I can't wait to see more of them, to know what funny encounters are ahead of and how precisely they would handle them heheeee!

I started this book because I wanted to laugh. I have been told this book is hilarious and you have to read it. I was a little disappointed at first because it didn't have me laugh out loud. I am happy to report that by the 20% I was laughing out loud, this book is pretty funny. It's also incredible freaking sweet. Like this guy is pretty freaking perfect for the most part. If you are looking for a funny, sexy read that will just make you happy this is it!

Eeeeep - KLINE BROOKS is finally on my kindle!
I was really looking forward to reading it - even though I still have NO idea which 2 authors make up the author-duo of Max Monroe. I guessed a lot, but nothing has been confirmed yet. ☺
I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY!
It's a pretty long book - I was somehow expecting something shorter - no idea why ☺
It was hilariously funny and sexy and in some scenes you want to put your hands in front of your eyes or run away screaming - that's where you poor english people are missing one word: FREMDSCHÄMEN!!!
That's when you're totally embarassed about what someone is doing or saying or what is happening to someone, that you just can't watch or even want to hide or run away.... That happened here a few times.☺☺☺
The supporting cast is amazing!!!!
Georgia's friend and colleague Dean! Hilariously over-gay!
Georgia's best friend and room-mate Cassie - who breaks out in spontaneous songs about the most ridiculous/inappropriate topics. (Btw. Cassie will be next book's heroine - she'll be paired with Kline's best friend Thatcher - who is just as inappropriate and hilarious.)
Also inappropriate and hilarious is Georgia's mom - a sex therapist!!! And her Dad Dick Cummings! Adorable!

If I had to name someting I didn't like?? Hm - maayyyybe the Cover. Yes, I love it - the cover is sexy and hot and all - BUT - it doesn't fit the book. In my opinion it cheapens the story a tiny bit. We have this hot-as-hell CEO guy in a suit most of the time and the cover-guy is not really our Kline :/ I don't really know what I mean, but I think the story should not be judged by this cover and it probably will. Yes, we have very sexy and funny moments in this book - A LOT OF THEM - but it's not only this tiny little, funny, sexy romance like the cover suggests by being all sexy, white and pinkish ☺.
I would've preferred a cover with a suited guy with a girl at his side...maybe both holding phones or pfff - what do I know. I'm not a cover-maker ☺☺☺ No offense dear cover-maker ☺

This book came highly recommended by two book friends so even though I've developed an intense dislike for book featuring virgins as of late, I decided to jump in. I didn't finish, I couldn't. But because I feel as though this is a case of "it's me not you" (and because I knew what I was getting myself into when I started) i'm not going to rate it.
BUT...
Somewhere between the h calling herself a "stupid slut"* for agreeing to a date because the H called her beautiful and the H saying that "any guy in New York would give his life to have her because she's a virgin"* I had a severe urge to kill it with fire. Because fuck intelligence, ambition and an education her only REAL value lay in the extra bit of flesh between her legs. Nevermind the fact that one of the two woman with big titties was portrayed as a brash wild child and the other a complete slut and utter imbecile who had trouble following the simplest of instructions.
However, my ragey feelings aside, this book was FUNNY and the writing was SOLID. Funny and solid enough to make me want to read the next book in the series (I'll be crossing my fingers for no virgin glorification and/or slut shaming)

Oh God, this was too much!
I just couldn't go on! I DNFed at 55% and it was so hard to get there!
It was a buddy read, so I said hey, yeah, I can't DNF this. It can't be that bad... right? Well, guess what, it was!!! I skimmed and skipped pages and it still didn't end! How can any book be so boring!!!
The idea seemed nice and it started out ok... until I passed 10%, that's where everything went to shit.
I couldn't connect to the characters, the writing was awful and the two main characters were so damn perfect I wanted to go in there and punch them or something...
Why 2 stars though? The idea was decent... If the book was 150 pages shorter, I might have liked it.
Still, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is looking for a normally paced book and for those who like fast paced plots well... you guys stay away from this one!

Always fun to try and guess who authors are when they are writing together under one name. Max Monroe is a great sounding name for sure...The idea was fun, there were swoon worthy moments and much to enjoy.
My main pet peeve was the use of Baby all the time...something which always annoys...
But the overall experience was an easy read with many giggles. More books to come with this series, so should be interesting to see how they turn out.

He has built his fortune with a dating website.
The heroine: Georgia Cummings - she is the director of marketing at Brooks Media. Tap Next is owned by Brooks Media and is the latest and greatest dating app. All employees of Brooks Media had to set up a profile on Tap Next. Georgia found that the app is a great way to do research, but she is sick of all the dick pics she has been getting.
The Story: Both Georgia and Kline were kind of fed up with parts of their lives. They had nothing special to get up in the morning for. Though both of them loved their jobs, they were kind of sick of some of the stupid people that took up so much space in the world.
I have read and/or listened to more than a few Max Monroe books before and really liked most of them. I liked the concept of this one but wasn’t fond of the narration from the start. I also thought some of the supporting characters were more caricature than character, I think the narration exaggerated that fact even more than the writing.
This audiobook was done in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Eric Michael Summerer and C.J. Bloom. C.J. has a clear, sarcastic-sounding voice and Eric has a deep voice that is bright and clear. Both of these narrators sound good for a romantic comedy though there was something I didn’t like about the narration. I think it was because they both sounded like they were overacting. I like it to sound more natural.

3.25 -enjoyable but unbelievable- Stars
I had a good time with this one. Thank you to my awesome GR friend Laura Johnson (aka Delight Special) for this recommendation! You gave Sgt. Dirty Perv a steamy, feel-good time :)
You can expect a low angst, humorous and sexy read from this one, but also expect to strain and extend your belief to it's furthest level. There were times where I had to fan myself from the hot nookie but also times where I had to take some unbelievable scenarios with a pinch of fun sugar.
For me; it was hard to believe that after 2 whole years of boss & employee daily interactions -where the MC's weren't even a blip on each other's attraction radars in ALL that time- and suddenly, boom! Out of nowhere, he asks her on a date, for no better reason than to avoid a set-up by his mother, and it's all instalove at both ends from there on out. Other things like made me roll my eyes and skim a little.
BUT, this was still all kinds of sweet, fluffy and steamily enjoyable once you get over all that eye-rolling stuff AND I'm super dooper keen to get onto the next books in this series because of the secondary characters (Thatch and Cassie's) love story.
Told in dual POV and first book in a series. Has a cute HFN epilogue which is geniusly told in both secondary character's POV (because they are the MC's in the next standalone story, of course). Admittedly, I'm only reading the sequel novella #1.5 (Tapping Her) to get more background and buildup info, before reading Banking the Billionaire because I wanna all the intel on Thatch & Cassie before diving in! Totally safe for those who need to know :)

My thoughts: So I want to preface this review with something because I have people of all ages that read my reviews to make an opinion on if a book is for them or not. I do think this book will be more enjoyable for the millennium generation and below. No I am not be ageist but it entirely revolves around the internet, current pop culture and toilet humor. Does that mean that ALL millennium generation and below will love it? No. Does that also mean that anyone in the baby boomers generation and up wont love it? No. It is just an observation but as always make up your own mind...
Off to the actual review because I am going to fucking gush over this one.
The first chapter, infact the first few paragraphs I almost dnf'd. I read about the H and his amazing pussy power or whatever and I was saying to myself fuck this mess I have read way to many manwhore billionaire novels. I am at my quota for this bullshit but I kept reading and got to the fourth paragraph where it said basically "yeah that's not me" and I said wait what??? So damn you authors for "catfishing" me right away. Making me believe the H was a manwhore billionaire when he wasn't! Even for a second! It was a pretty ingenous way to start a book, It had the shock value of that type of start. IE the sex scene with OW/OM (mostly OW), violence etc or "the hook". A bit of a risk I already saw one DNF on a review just for the chapter opener on Amazon but for me it was pretty great once I understood what was happening. It turned out to be a slightly sarcastic snub against the billionaire manwhore trope and I thought it was all kinds of awesome.
This books strength does not come from a intricate plot. Anyone that has read more than a few books or seen movies saw the "climax" and what the big blow up between the couple would be within the first few chapters. Nothing happens that wasn't expected at least plotline wise. It was simply about a possessive, modest and kind billionaire see's his employee in a new light for the first time and their relationship. The slight plot twist is he owns a dating website that all employee's have to use. Through a pretty funny toilet humor instance their online personalities meet and strike up a conversation. So throughout the boss/employee romance, They also have an online friendship (they both used their best friend as their profile picture). The H ends up knowing it is her but she does not know it is her H.
So that is the basic plot and it was solid. I am not going to get into it much because I do not think that is what made the book shine. The characterization was fantastic in this book.
The h is awesome. She knows her own mind, has some insecurities but is wise enough to pull her big girl panties on and be who she is. She is also a virgin (queue the cringing here). But I actually liked it in the story because it wasn't for some inane reason, no reason given or because it is the "thing" or god forbid the virgin with slut shaming mixed in to show that any female that likes sex is a WHORE. No it was addressed in the story why she is a virgin and basically that is because she had not met a man she wanted to have sex with yet. Oral yes, but nothing more than that and she fucking owned it. She made up her own mind of her sexual beliefs and stuck by them. For that I say rock on sister. I think that having a mother that is a sex therapist made the readers see that she was in touch with her sexuality. It was a simple lifestyle choice.
A strong heroine if my catnip. I like a possessive protective H. I love a stalker H and I can even deal with a weak h if the H is amazing but it is rarely a five star read for me. When an author pulls off a heroine that knows her own mind, has no excuses and lives by her beliefs without being a bitch about it. That is usually a five star for me. I LOVE to see that type of empowerment in media especially in regards to women's sexuality. No matter if you are a virgin, a slut or anything in between own your beliefs, love yourself and have confidence. (yes there are things in between! Ever heard of a mouth whore?) One of the reasons I have such an issue with the basic tropes out in books now is because they come from a place of shame. Women are shamed about liking sex or having healthy sexual back grounds especially by other women and it really shows in how authors portray heroines. Buttttt off that soap box back to the review.
I also love that at the climax As much as the h was amazing the H was also. He was kind, protective and all about the h until the end.
There was reasoning for the plot lines, the characters actions, reactions and viewpoints were backed up by showing the reader not just be telling us. The dialogue was engrossing and funny. The relationship between the h and her best friend was hilarious. I loved their banter (again toilet humor). All in all it was a fantastic read for me. I highly recommend to anyone that likes a some dirty humor a devoted H and a confident h.
BTW I cannot wait for book two... The best friends who's pictures were used on the site and both love sex are up next. I wonder who is going to be the dirtiest in bed or say the more outrageous things?!?!

This started off light, funny and fun. Later it became mildly unbelievable, draggy and boring, i skimmed many many pages. SO MANY unbelievable parts - a down to earth, humble BILLIONAIRE who wasn't quite interested in other women... yeaaaa, i don't buy that. Would have made the story slightly realistic if he was just simply rich, didn't need to be a billionaire. The heroine was intelligent, smart and sassy living in New York... and a 26 year old virgin. This started off light, funny and fun. Later it became mildly unbelievable, draggy and boring, i skimmed many many pages. SO MANY unbelievable parts - a down to earth, humble BILLIONAIRE who wasn't quite interested in other women... yeaaaa, i don't buy that. Would have made the story slightly realistic if he was just simply rich, didn't need to be a billionaire. The heroine was intelligent, smart and sassy living in New York... and a 26 year old virgin. Loved it!!!
It seemed slightly bit slow at the beginning, but then the story got moving and I really enjoyed it. I loved the characters - both their real life persona and their online ones. I loved the banter and all the comedic moments like Kline meeting Georgia's parents, the ditzy intern and the crazy best friends of both the MCs.

Um, ok... well, hmmm... ok... How to write this review?
This dual POV book was syrupy sweet with just about OTT everything . A 26 yr old virgin female lead, a stupid-rich (but super humble) H, ridiculous drama that really should have been an easily resolved misunderstanding but ended up being the catalyst to a juvenile break-up. Which, was *as expected* resolved in WAY too many (read: skimmed) pages and an absurd grand gesture.

It's because several parts of this book had me like...

And when a book can tickle my funny bone like that, well it deserves a little bump in rating from me. Without the humor, this really would have been a **2 star** review from me.
For those who need to know... this book is definitely a safe read. And if funny, toothache sweet, perfect billionaire gets the virgin, low angst, insta-love is your thing... you will LOVE this read.

Omigoodness….this book was all kinds of hilarious!
Georgia Cummings is not lucky when it comes to dating but she's using a dating app because her employer requires it. Of course most all of her profile is made up & she even uses a picture of her best friend instead of herself. She does strike up a funny online conversation with one guy who thinks dick pics are okay.
Georgia’s boss Kline Brooks is sexy as hell and off limits since they work together but he manages to talk her into accompanying him to a function that he has to attend with a date. His mother was trying to set him up with a date but he was able to fend her off by saying he already had a date.
Things go well on the date and now she seems to be talking to 2 men Kline and the online “Ruck”. This storyline is just weird enough that it is really too difficult to sum up into a short blurb without giving too much away.
I completely get why some folks were not feeling this. At first I didn’t really get there connection and I felt a little lost and then maybe at around 30% it started making sense & it was funny! Georgia and Kline have hilarious friends and Georgia’s parents are a complete riot. Georgia’s best friend, Cassie comes up with the funniest nicknames…….Horgie instead of Georgie and she calls Kline “Big Dick Brooks”. This book gets better as you go & by the end of it I was really glad I read it & now can’t wait to read the next one.
If you need a sweet Romcom this is the book to read…..just keep in mind it starts out slow & a little confusing.

This was one of the BEST BOOKS OF 2016!!
I've never read anything by these authors (that I know of) and I am so freaking happy that I took the chance on them. With this book, Max Monroe have proven that they are HUGE contenders.
First laugh: gargoyle/hunchback of Notre Dame dick
Second laugh: "HAPPY! HAPPY! JOY! JOY! Have a great day celebrating! - Georgia" (on a sympathy card)
Third laugh: "trampvestite" (actually any scene involving Leslie lol)
Fourth laugh: lots of what happens is too hilarious to write here because it is not PG-13
Fifth laugh: Kline and Georgia's first kiss (Benadryl)
Sixth laugh: "Christopher Columbus my pussy prideland."
Honestly, giving any more of what I loved would spoil the book because I really loved all of it. I encourage EVERYONE to read it.
Georgia was sweet and hilarious. Kline was what I envision for a PERFECT book boyfriend. He was humble, kind, generous, sexy, loving, etc. He was freaking sublime.
Read the damn book!! You won't regret it.

Le vere sgualdrine hanno la vagina tutta slargata. Intendo, larga abbastanza per custodirci tutti i loro guadagni e la tua non è mai neanche stata in affari. Probabilmente non riusciresti ad infilarci neanche un nichelino».

Oggi ho la sfortuna di parlarvi di Come far perdere la testa al capo, primo volume della serie Sporchi Milionari, edito in Italia dalla Always Publishing.
Vi anticipo che sono stata erroneamente attratta dalla copertina, molto minimal e di un colore delicato, e dalla trama, che mi ha fatto subito pensare a un romanzo leggero e divertente. Mi sono ritrovata, invece, un romanzo alquanto volgare, farcito di parolacce e di dialoghi, come quello citato, davvero di cattivo gusto.
Protagonisti della storia sono Kline Brooks, affascinate miliardario, proprietario della società fondatrice di TapNext, una delle app per incontri più in voga del momento, e Georgia Cummings, capo marketing nella medesima società. Come tutti i dipendenti single anche Georgia ha dovuto rispettare il requisito obbligatorio per l’assunzione nella Brooks Media, ossia creare un profilo anonimo su TapNext. È per questa ragione che inizia a interagire con Sporco Ruck, profilo dietro al quale si nasconde in realtà Kline.
Inizierà quindi uno scambio di messaggi tra i due, accompagnato parallelamente anche da un loro avvicinamento nella vita reale. Ma mentre Kline scopre sin da subito l’identità di BottaDiRose, nickname utilizzato da Georgia, la giovane esperta di marketing, continuerà a ignorare per un po’ chi si cela dietro al profilo di Sporco Ruck. Facilmente immaginabile è la commedia degli equivoci che si viene a creare ma, come ogni romance che si rispetti, il lieto fine è assicurato.
Come potete notare la storia di per sé potrebbe anche essere carina. È stata la scelta linguistica, in primis, che non ho apprezzato: la maggior parte dei personaggi, forse fatta eccezione solo di Kline, sono eccessivamente scurrili. Il tono che caratterizza l’intero volume, fa perdere credibilità anche alla protagonista, che scopriamo essere, come da manuale dei cliché, ancora vergine. Così come troppo espliciti sono le descrizioni delle scene di passione e i riferimenti alla sessualità in generale, per un libro catalogato semplicemente tra i romanzi rosa.
Ne consiglio quindi la lettura? Decisamente no.
