I like Meri alot every woman should have a best friend like her. One that will always support you. Savannah was attacked she tried going to the wolves to explain what happened. Ofcourse she has history with the head wolf. How is he to believe her over his fellow wolf.

Savannah is a witch who works as a Hunter. A Hunter assists the police department by catching murderers and killing them. She has never had any family and now she has found her family.

Poor Savannah all she wants was for the people she love to be happy and for Damien to believe her. Robert had passed lies about Savannah so no one will believe her.

A nice paranormal romantic suspense series. I gave it 4 stars because at times it was too descriptive for me. I did like the storyline and the characters.

Wow just wow! Even though I didn't read the first book I still couldn't put it down! It didn't matter that I haven't read the 1st book this book explains the story line I was able to piece together shay was going on... Wonder if there will be a 3rd book?

Bad Karma is book 2 in The Hellborn Series and if I thought book 1 had me on the edge of my seat, Bad Karma surpassed that!! There was so much intrigue, and there are murders happening and don't know who is responsible, then Savannah gets hurt and she suspects who is responsible, but she needs proof....then of course there is the continuing relationship between Savannah and Santiago....oh Santiago!!! Will what happened to Savannah change things between them for the better....will it tear them apart before they've even started? You'll have to read this amazing book to find out!!! I am loving what Sammantha is giving us with this series and can't wait to find out what happens next!!

I was so excited for this book and was not disappointed! Savannah was just as strong and brilliant as before, and Santiago is still the sweetest ever! But in this book we got to see Savannah’s vulnerable side and Santiago’s protective darker side...which I loved! These characters are so well rounded and you can’t help but to become emotionally invested in them. The plot had you hanging on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next! You will love this book as much I did and will be begging for the next one!

This book will have you on the edge of your seat! I love the main characters. There are so many emotions throughout this book. At one point I really wanted to go into the world that the author has created and beat on Damian a just a little bit. Once again Sammantha Anderson doesn’t disappoint. I literally couldn’t put this book down! If you are looking for your next great author you have definitely found her. Her writing style will suck you into the world that she has created and keep you there not ever wanting to leave. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!!

The hunter Savannah is back in Bad Karma. There are mysterious deaths occurring. Death by exsanguination. No one knows how the deaths are occurring or who is behind them. On top of this a near assault on Savannah is making her life even more difficult. She and Santiago are happy in their relationship, but it is time to move on in their relationship.

With everything that is going on, Savannah has a lot on her plate and she is overwhelmed. Will she be able to successfully figure out the clues to the cases that she has open? Or will the stress of her personal trauma be too much for her to cope with?

Priorly, i have gushed over "dead witch walking", the first book which introduced me to a paranormal CSI world which under Sammantha Anderson's writing comes alive in the most detailed and marvelous ways.
Now i need a moment to rave about its sequel- "Bad Karma". Holy Hells!.
Without giving too much away, the book picks up the story directly where its predecessor left off- and the rollercoaster ride of emotions and intrigue begins anew. In this story, not only do we follow the talented Witch detective Savannah as she tried to unravel a series of voodoo style murders, but as a reader you get further pulled into her private life, her struggles, her pain, her strength and stubbornness. It is all there and its tangible. Savannah is an incredible character, strong and independent, with a heart and mind you cannot help but fall in love with.
It is a journey full of surprise twists and turns. Characters i have loved in the last book, i found myself wanting to strangle. Others who i felt unsure about in the past, i am now completely enamored with.If you enjoy suspense, romance, heartbreak and intrigue (with a touch of magic)- then the Hellborn series is for you!

Intrigue and suspense are ramped up in the second of this series and Savannah is kicking serious butt and doesn’t disappoint. The steam between her and her special someone heats up to inferno status. Sammantha weaves a tale that keeps you flipping the pages. I’m anxiously awaiting what’s coming next. ♥️

I received this story from my book group on FB the ladybugs and I really, really enjoyed it. The story line was intricate with lots of details. There were a few minor editing errors with the wrong word or some sentences that didn’t make sense with the grammar/missing words but over all I would recommend this to others. It has a mystical premise with murders and the woman who is helping the police who gets entangled in her own case. I haven’t read any more of this authors works, including the first one of this series, but I feel confident that I will be reading more and I truly hope there is another book to follow in this series. Also I did read this book a few times very late into the night as a warning to fellow bibliophiles.

Savannah's story picks up from where book 1 left off. When she is attacked in her own home it turns her life upside down. As hard as it is for her to ask for help this forces Savannah to realize that you have to let those you love in.

Bad Karma has mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat trying to solve the murders, voodoo priestess encounters all while trying to make a case against her own attacker. Absolutely loved Santiago and his complete support. It was fun to get to know Meri and Duncan a little more as well. Looking forward to reading book 3.

I enjoyed the book, might contain triggers for some since there is an ongoing rape and murder investigation. Definitely some violence and gore. I didn’t realize this was the second book in the series so I’ll be looking for the first.

Witches, vampires, werewolves, and Voodoo. This is different from other books I’ve read. Paranormal is definitely out in the open, even having their own police unit. I liked that this was different. It was a slow read for me though. I think I just wasn’t in the mood for anything that deep. Like I said I will be following the series though.

As a lover of paranormal stories, Bad Karma was an intriguing Sammantha Anderson story. Even though I didn't read the first book in the series, the author referenced it enough for me to get the gist of the story. I was sucked in by the characters and sitting on the edge of my seat by the storyline. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow! I really enjoyed this book. The story was very well written and had me at the edge of my seat until the very end. I absolutely love Santiago! He was so great to Savannah. Even though I didn't read the first book, I was still able to follow along with the story line. I will definitely be going back to read the first book and can't wait to read the next one.

Bad Karma is a great follow up to Bad Witch Walking! Savannah is one badass hellborn. After solving her last case, she was ready to move on with her life...til she was called in for a bizarre murder... one that seemed to involve Voodoo.... not only caught up in solving the ongoing murders, she is trying to develop a relationship with Santiago, a vampire that loved her as she was .... but then came Robert and the craps storm he caused.... not only causing her physical and mental grief, but damaging her relationship with Damian.... now she had 2 cases to solve...incriminating evidence comes into play and the two cases were somehow linked... and Savannah and her best friend, Meri, must figure it all out .
