¡Ah!
Suena interesante ¿no?
¡No! Es una historia agradable, relajante y entretenida. Comprendo que no sea para muchos. Sin embargo, ¡me la pasé bien leyendo!
A slow, relaxing story. Main couple's interactions are cute, main annoyance is an idiot, and the setting is an interesting one. I would recommend not reading it at once though, as the long-ish arcs might start to annoy you; I tried to marathon and had to forcibly pace myself after a point.
This is so fluffy and wholesome and cute, there’s not much tension plotwise but all the cooking and flirting was super adorable. Also my heart teared up at the parallel world 3 in the extras 😭
Ps: Censura, me haces daño otra vez 🤡.
I had a lot of fun with this one. It had a very refreshing feel to it. I liked pretty much all of the female characters that were introduced and it probably helped that pretty much none of them were there for face slapping. I also liked that the women were just as likely to take the same jobs as the men, although I did start to notice that despite that, there was never a woman in a high ranking position--they were never tribe leaders or priests or really even seemed to get that strong, except for one woman who was introduced as a beast king... in the extras. Additionally, I was pleased that despite the fact that Zhou Ji came from a modern time period and obviously had more modern sensibilities, he didn't condemn anyone in the clan for how they were. He didn't try to correct people when they were improperly dressed, except for handing Xiong Ye his clothing and averting his own eyes. For the most part, he let them live how they wanted to except for making quality of life improvements. This starting changing a bit towards the end and became especially apparent in the extras when he started using his position to impose modern family dynamics on the society but for the most part it was ignorable. I'm not going to touch on some of the whole primitive = stupid things because for the most part, it was played more cute than anything but it could be a turnoff for some. Also it did drag a bit in some spots. There's an insane amount of focus on food and cooking and I was wondering if the author was just hungry every time they wrote because we pretty much moved from one meal to another, from one crop staple to another and it took a long, long time for the plot to get moving.
So yeah. Cute, fun story that I really enjoyed and more respectful than most of these novels towards its female cast. Dragged a bit in some spots and I kind of wish I hadn't read the extras because they undid some of the things I enjoyed, but I would still definitely recommend it.
A pretty fun novel - I particularly liked the ending of the main novel and the beginning of both the main novel and parallel universe side story
However, there were two major things that reduced my enjoyment of this story.
Zhong Ji was a bit annoying towards the end of the novel in his complete disregard of other people. Also, he's so lazy and uses other people so casually, taking it as his due for being so powerful. How is this any different from most scum villains?
I don't particularly mind there being slaves in stories - sometimes it's a historical fact and sometimes it's an integral part of the plot (eg: Captive Prince). However, it was a bit jarring for there to be slaves in this novel, especially by the "good" tribe we're supposed to be rooting for. The author carefully doesn't call it slavery when the Bear Tribe forces people to work for them (or maybe that's something the translators omitted), but that's essentially what the tribe uses to get workers in the main novel. They even treat them like slaves, giving them worse quality food. There's the idea that the slaves have better lives in this tribe than they would otherwise, but that's one of the arguments that the US used to keep slavery alive, and honestly not a great excuse. If they're treated so much better, they should still be given the choice.

É basicamente um slice of life com homens-fera. Eu amei.
The MC transmigrated to the body of a prehistoric man who is known to be meek and weak. He was regarded as a burden to his tribal tribe since he was deemed to be incapable of hunting or doing anything to contribute. Even so, that was the past. He is no longer the same person. It is also interesting to know that the MC came from a zombie apocalypse world. He even has a handicap for his special abilities.
The story revolves around the main couple's relationship, the power and ability progression, the tech-advancement, and it even includes various cooking techniques. There are actually tons of cooking tutorials.
The writing is not prefect but I enjoy the endearing couple even though it's sans smut. I also love the OP-ness of my favourite characters. It's so satisfying to see them serve justice those bad apples around them. Overall, I would say it's a story I don't mind repeating.
Another good read by author. While the beginning of the novel wasn't really that loving and fluffy, it still brings about a unique sense of intrigue which makes you want to read on.
I was a little confused throughout the novel regarding the dynamics though. it felt really ambiguous who was 1 or 0. I'm glad it does resolve eventually. like after 2/3 of the novel. I mean both MC and ML were really strong. It also mentioned that ML and his ex had a fight regarding who would be 1 or 0 (and that, I didn't really catch what the dynamics of the relationship was but I don't really care)
The extra is really long, but it does write of a parallel world. so it was pretty interesting to read.
Minus 1 star because with beastmen, I thought we could have Mpreg (like A Guide to Raising your Natural Enemy). would have love to see little MC or ML..
Rating: 5/5- Absolute masterpiece that I would re-read.
I became so invested in this novel and from the start, I fell in love with both the MC and ML. It was such a pure relationship, however what got me hooked was the side characters. Every single one of them was so unique and adorable.
The plot was very simple to follow and I liked reading a Cretaceous period novel. The descriptions were wonderful and the life of the cavemen sometimes made me envious of the simple life.
The descriptions of food made a vegan like me, hungry. Who knew dinosaur meat would be my thing LOL!
I personally preferred all the extras, except for the last parallel world. I just thought that it wasn’t really necessary.
3.5 - was a light and fun read. I agree with comments, saying MC is too OP, and while there was some drawbacks to his powers (PTSD), it would have been nice if this was explored in more depth, or given more attention, rather than a passing comment.
Also Shi Li is too annoying - even with a rebirth he still didn’t learn. Everything this guy did was despicable, and so over the top. I get it - he is trash that never learns from his mistakes and blames everyone, let’s move on and have a new obstacle, rather than relying on ex drama to drive the narrative.
I liked how the parallel world extra chapters depicted ML pursing the MC instead of how it was in the main story. This was a nice contrast. It also gave an insight into their lives prior to the villain’s rebirth.

Full recomendation. Had some places I laughed my ass off at how gulible the ancient man is. The main characters are just perfect, the relationship develops nicely. Just a joy to read (if you have a good translation). My only pet peeve is that it was too short (comparing to the Legendary Master's wife I have read before this one).
Honestly there's nothing much about the plot. It was a fun read, but that's it. The world is interesting, but the mc is too strong to the point that it's boring. Like, he got too much cheat keys. It was quick read too, surprisingly. But yeah, that's it. Not my favorite.
Enjoyable to read. Long chapters. Cute romance. The obvious love triangles were easily resolved. A little boring in some of the middle chapters. The story was complete with no significant open plots.
*Spoiler* Usually, there isn't a happy ending in the original world which is why rebirth is always better but in this case, the ML got a happy ending in two parallel worlds.
A chill read. Plenty of entertaining characters, I liked the main characters personality. The plot was not complicated. A very slice of life book. Felt like a cooking book sometimes. The two MCs were really good to each other, it was really sweet
