In the follow up to Catori, the story revolves around Noah, a shape shifter bear. Again, this is well written, and the characters are loveable. Jonas is the unofficial leader of the clan and his sister, Zoe, sees the future. When Noah feels strange, dark powers in the air, he goes to them immediately. Suddenly, this story takes an abrupt switch. Can’t say more without spoiling the storyline.


In the meantime, the local sweets baker starts having strange dreams. When she wakes from one of these dreams, she finds bear tracks leading to her back door. She is terrified. She immediately goes to her best friend Zoe for help. Of course, Zoe goes to her brother and Noah. They have no idea, so they go to investigate. When Noah meets Piper, he knows she is special. Now we have a love story going on. The story is full of twists and thoroughly entertaining. It can be read as a stand alone and still be enjoyable.

Kermode Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a paranormal shifter story that is engaging and funny and is a wonderful read. The characters were likable and unique and made me laugh out loud. Can they fight the evil threatening them?

Piper has a secret that not even she knows about. Weird dreams of bears and men keep her rest fitful. She is not sure what is going on but when strange things start happening, she is thrust into a world that only exists in books or does it?

Noah just cracked me up he is so sweet and cuddly. He is on a mission to find out what dark mystery is shrouding his hometown. As he follows the clues, he ends up at the Sweet Pie Bakery where he discovers something more precious than his own life but there is something there tainting something so good.

This is a really great PNR book that kept me glued to my Kindle throughout. I really enjoyed Noah’s brashness whilst Piper was a real sweetie. There is an evil presence that is stalking the community and threatening Jonah’s rule. Will Piper come to terms with being less than human in time to help save the community? Overall I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait for the next installment of the series!

The story Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) is a wonderful book to read. Both the storyline and the characters are amazing. I loved reading about Piper and Noah. I grew to care about what happened to them with each chapter that I read. Piper has been having weird dreams and when Noah meets Piper, he is stunned to find out she is the one that has been giving off power. What does that future hold for Piper and Noah? Read this book to find out. The story does have romantic scenes and there are moments that made me smile. There are also scenes that are suspenseful. There are additional characters that you are introduced to and that are friends with Piper and Noah. I would love to know about their backgrounds and stories. Don’t miss out on a book that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

The bakery Piper took over from her grandparents is a success. She's new to town but so far everyone seems nice enough until...she wakes up naked in the forest, she has scary dreams, and she finds something scary outside her back door. What does this all mean?

Noah has a big job that includes getting rid of rogue shifters in the area. He has to keep humans and shifters safe. Not only are there rogues but some other dangers as well. When he hears about Piper's problems it's time to meet this woman and see if she is in danger or the danger. Surprise! Meeting her answers some questions but asks even more. The fact that he imprints on her the minute they meet and she doesn't know about shifters makes it next to impossible to keep focused--on anything but her.

This is a fun and intriguing shifter story. I enjoyed it so much I'm going to get book one and read it as well.

Piper and Noah are magical together. This is such a beautiful, action action packed romance. The first meeting between Piper and Noah is magical and also hilarious at the same time. Sparks fly but it takes some work for both of them to accept the truth even thought the chemistry is undeniable. The author does such an amazing job of describing when they shift that I can see it all unfolding in front of me. This is more than a book, it's a journey that you take along with the amazing characters in this story, The legends and shamanism sprinkled throughout add to the beauty of it all. I really enjoyed the bits and pieces I learned about their friends along the way and now I can't wait to read their stories and learn more about them.

I absolutely loved reading about Piper and Noah. When they were introduced in book one I was excited to find out that they got their own book! The back and forth between these two was absolutely intense and hilarious at the same time. Being on the "outside watching in" and knowing what was going on was great. I wanted to throttle Noah a few times for being so dense and Piper as well. But in the end, I was glad to see what happened. I was so happy that Tanner and Frankie showed up in this book! You see them periodically throughout the book. The writing was phenomenal, and super intense! I was glued to my kindle the whole time and begrudgingly had to put it down for work. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and draws you in! I cant wait to see what book 3 has in store for me!

This second installment is not only an amazing read but it's engaging and funny as well. This book was such a wonderful read, the characters are realistic, and relatable, and made me laugh one more then one occasion in this installment. Piper keeps having dreams and has no idea what these dreams mean, but eventually she's thrust into a world that she only thought existed in books. Noah is on a journey to see what's going on in his town, but what will he find? Do Pipers dreams have a connection to the dark mystery surrounding Noah's hometown? And will either one of them be the answer to each others questions? You'll have to pick up an copy to find put for yourself.

I enjoyed this book. It is a paranormal shifter story that is engaging and I read it in one sitting. This is a well developed story that kept me turning pages until the end. The characters brought the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Piper is in a new town and has taken over her grandparents bakery. Everyone is great until she finds herself in the forrest naked. Noah hunts rogues. He hears about Piper and is intregued enough to see if there is a danger. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next.

Reading Noah and Piper’s story was great! I read these stories backwards by mistake. However, I was still captivated by the love story. Don’t they just go together ?? I feel like the romance is always ramped up when you have such opposites. This series was a paranormal series but still very different. I felt like I was visiting another world. Danger and intrigue as something is going on under the surface. Loving this series!!

Noah is all male and his bluntness is harsh. Piper is sweet as pie but her dreams are haunting her. When she runs into Noah during one of her nightmares, things go crazy. She doesn’t know what to think or believe. Noah won’t go away and he won’t give up. Together that meet have a magical spark.

Spirit bear

Maggie Adams has done it again! Another must read for her fans. I must admit, I had to look up the word Kermode to find the meaning. Spirit bear is an inaccurate description for the shifter. Starting with a mystery, throw in a super sexy love scene, and end with overcoming evil. Another fantastic read!

Im all over shifter fantasy. Like can't get enough. And this was no exception. I'm unclear how I managed to miss that this was a series so I felt a little out of the loop but it was SOOOO good! The story was fun, exciting, and well written where the characters attitudes were so relateable. Highly reccomend grabbing the first book in the Legends series and getting your fantasy fix!

Legends: Kermode by Maggie Adams is a paranormal shifter book that was engaging and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the characters. I have found myself enjoying more shifter books as of late. This book has mystery romance. Overall I enjoyed it and would rate it 4 stars!

Piper's awakening

Sadly, Noah is not a bear I'm feeling drawn to.sigh. I'm sure others will like his childishness. I'm unenchanted. Why do Ifeel like this book was written in a hurry? So sorry, simply not my favorite book.

While I enjoyed the book overall, I felt like the worldbuilding ended with Catori , and now it's just turning into shifter romance. I really like the element of dream shifting and bonded mates, but it seems like the plot progression was eclipsed by the romance in this one. While I connected with Frankie in Catori, I found that I couldn't really connect with any of the characters in Kermode.

The narrator did a good job, though I would have enjoyed more vocal variation for the women's dialogue and points of view.

The second book in this series pulled me in and didn't let go. I liked learning more about the varied characters in the town of Grafton.

This a hot supernatural romance with and underlying story of suspense. The second in the series, this book revolves around Piper and Noah. They are great characters and so different from anything I have read before. I was so drawn into this book and I could not put it down. Everyone in this book is different from each other and so interesting. It has so many emotions, you really feel this story. My only negative is that there is so much more that could be written about this story. I think it would be even better as a longer book.

That being said, this is a good Paranormal Romance with some sexy scenes as with as suspense/action. If you are a fan of this in a story that is unlike any you have read before, I highly recommend it.

I love shifter books - doesn’t matter what kinda shifter they are, they all intrigue me, but there’s something about bear shifters that just wins out IMHO!!

I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed the Tempered Steel series that introduced us to the Coalson family, some of who we catch up with in Kermode which is the second book in the Legends series from Maggie Adams

A shifter who doesn’t know what she truly is, a big gruff bear shifter who senses his mate, stumbles upon her and imprints on her pretty much as soon as he does, add to that the sense of threat around her bakery that he can feel and you’ve got one fun, hot and interesting story.

The story was engaging, with suspense and action and it had a supporting cast of great characters - some of who we’ve already met in previous books and a few whose own tales I can’t wait to read.

A solid 4* read for me and a definite recommend if you’re a PNR lover like me...

A fantasy shifter romance with likeable main characters Piper and Noah, and a host of secondary characters that you get to know as well. Although this is book two in Adams, Legends series, it works well as a standalone read (although I enjoyed this book so much I have now read book one as well).
The story focuses around Piper, who has been having strange dreams, of fur, claws and magic and even finds herself waking up naked in a field one morning. Noah, who's job is to get rid of the rouge shifters that have appeared in their small town of Grafton then enters Piper’s bakery and instantly falls in love, ‘imprinting’ on her. This is the start of a lovely romance and a great read. I liked how Piper and Noah’s relationship developed throughout the story. Noah soon realises the new power he has been feeling actually comes from his soulmate Piper, however she doesn’t know it herself.
This was a book full of romance, mystery, suspense and humour, it really had it all and it kept me turning the pages well into the night.

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a fun paranormal romance, with shifters, humour, magic, mystery, drama, and more. It can be read as a standalone, which is what I have done. But it has intrigued me enough to want to go back and read Catori (Book 1), as well as any future additions.
Piper Sweet owns Sweetie Pie’s Bakery and Café. She’s been plagued by unsettling dreams lately, and strange things are happening. She doesn’t realise it yet, but her world is about to turn upside down- and nothing will ever be the same.
Noah Stark just knows something is going on. He is on the hunt- and his investigation leads him to way more than he ever expected. He is such a funny guy- so sweet you just want to cuddle him. I was fully invested as he sets about unravelling the mystery.
The story introduces us not only to Noah and Piper, but also a cast of interesting and quirky supporting characters.
A quick and easy read!

When Jonah is threatened it puts everyone on alert. Then there is this power surrounding the town and it is not good. Noah runs into Piper and it sets off explosives in and out of her dreams. There is evil coming for them but what it reveals may change everything. I loved this story and Maggie Adams is a master at weaving a story.

Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) by Maggie Adams was an exciting fantasy romance. This book is the second in its series but can be read as a standalone. It has an addictive storyline that quickly pulls readers in. Noah is a Grizzly bear shifter and senses a magical shift that threatens his odd ball family and leader Jonas. Piper is running her grandparent’s bakery and has been having strange dreams.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. The characters were realistic and creative. There was a variety of magical beings in this book that all played into the storyline. It was a great read that I finished in one sitting.

Kermode is the second book in the Legends series by Maggie Adams. This is not my first book by Maggie Adams and it will not be my last. Adams has an interesting imagination and the gift to transfer it to her story. Her characters are complex and easy to relate to in my life. PiperSweet has taken over her grandparents bakery in Grafton Illinois. There is something going on with her and she is not quite sure she is understanding what is happening to her. Noah hunts rogue shifters. He is in Grafton looking for a shifter with the scent of power. When Noah walks into the bakery and sees PiperSweet he imprints on her and falls for her. Will PiperSweet figure out what is going on with her? Will Noah figure it out who has the scent of power? Sit down grab a drink and settle in for a great book.

Bears, wolves, and dragons, oh my! This shifter world is full of surprises. The writing dives head on into the action in this Legend Series Book. From the first page to the last, there’s twists and sharp turns quickly building this series into quite the adventure.

This story starts off with Piper being stalked in her dreams by what she thinks is just a bear. Little did she know her entire world was about to be flipped upside down by none other than computer guru Noah Stark. Their lives crash together instantly pulling them deeper into the secrets of the small town surrounded by Native American Legends.

I’m curious to not only find out which shifter the next book will be about but also to follow the characters I’ve already come to know and love.

Kermode: Legends Series Book 2 by Maggie Adams is a rollicking little tale. Pure entertainment. If you are looking for a little light reading this is brain candy. A just reward for all those serious books. Imagine someone tells you that you are the big lottery winner, and you never bought a ticket. That’s the situation Piper Sweet finds herself in. Noah, just an innocent looking for some troublemakers walks into her shop and doesn’t even know what hit him. Reader be aware, there are some steamy situations that some may find uncomfortable. This is a nice little read that can be read as a standalone, but why miss the big picture.

Noah Stark is 6ft 6, a computer genius and also a bear shifter, some people around him think he’s a little crazy and he does nothing to dispute that when he first meets Piper Sweet.
Piper Sweet runs a bakery and cafe that used to belong to her grandparents and one morning she finds bear paw prints outside her shop and starts to panic, but things are about to change for Piper and Noah has a lot to do with it.
This author is new to me and I really liked her style of writing, the characters were well written and I look forward to reading the stories of the other characters.
