Baltimore’s prominent radio-personality and host of the number one, nightly relationship show, “The Love Supreme,” Mason Blake, Jr., hasn’t been in love in a mighty long time. Mason’s world collides with Angela West at an awards gala, and he is instantly smitten with the woman who slowly breaks down his barriers. Mason and Angela’s romance takes off until his world is rocked by the one person, whose love he has been seeking for a long time, mysteriously reappears after years of being absent.

This book is more than a good read. Its a great read. I could not put it down. I laughed, cried, yelled, I mean ran through the gambit of emotions. This novel was a page turner to say the least. I couldn't stop wondering what was going to happen next with Mason and Angela. I felt like I was a part of the story and kept finding myself wanting to shake Mason to get his mind right! There are some fun twists in the story that leave you wanting more. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a fiction novel this much. I look forward to sharing with my book club! Great job on your debut novel, Stretch!! I can't wait for your next one!

This is the kind of book you don’t want to put down. It was liand you wanted to know what was going to happen next. You can sense the feelings from each of the characters as you read as the descriptive words give you visuals to process . It takes you on a journey of a Man’s perception of all things that matter with heart. Great story line with a plot twisting ending that will make your mouth drop and your heart race!

Is there anything greater than getting lost in a romance novel??? No. The correct answer is no. I found this book to be both relatable and thoroughly entertaining. The fact that this story takes place in the DC-MD-VA area totally drew me in until I was fully immersed and invested in every character. Taking me through a wide array of emotions, Last Request was a welcomed de-stressor at the end of each work day. I’m eager to read future works by this author.

Through Mason, Stretch gives us insight into a man who struggles with lust and love. He demonstrates the modern day man facing the impact that a lack of affection can have on relationships. All the while the book is weaved with playful metaphorical references to topics from old school hip hop to throwback tv. This book was a fictional delight. ~ Literary Ladies Book Club

This book is a beautifully written, magnetic romance novel and so much more! I can't remember the last time I actually finished reading a book. I laughed a lot, cried a bit and I truly didn't want to put this one down, burying my head in it every free minute I had. Well done Mr. Garrett, don't let this one be your last.

When an author creates a body of work that makes all of your emotions come to life, that makes the journey of the story that much better. The characters were all relatable and it shows a side of the male perspective that’s often overlooked. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to more from Mr. Garrett!

I binged this book in one sitting and loved it. I love how it showcases the complexities of love. We all have baggage and the impact it has on our relationships can be a bit much. The growth of the main character is great to see. And the fact that it takes place in my hometown is icing on the cake.
