Faerie Lords #3

Crown of Glass

Rate this book
A dangerous mystery, a terrible betrayal… and something lurking in the Looking Glass.
What do you do when your best friend sells his soul? Jenna still hasn’t figured out the answer to that question. For years, she’s been searching for a way to undo the faerie bargain that stole Gabriel Fisher’s soul. When Gabe reappears in Jenna’s life, however, it becomes clear that his master, the Lord of the Looking Glass, has a particular interest in Jenna. If there’s any chance to bring back the man Jenna loves, she’ll take it… but if she isn’t careful, she might end up trapped behind the Looking Glass with Gabe, forever.

The third installment in the Faerie Lords series adds another bewitching, modern faerie tale romance to the roster. Pick up Crown of Glass, and step into “a world much weirder than Wonderland.”

The Faerie Lords is a wonderful series! This is the third book and I was slightly disappointed. I still loved the story and devoured it in one reading. The narrative flow in this book is lacking. The story is a bit start and stop without the escalating flow of the first two books. However the characters are complex and likable and everyone has strengths and weaknesses. The story is full of adventure and the mystery is like a puzzle. Lots of fun!

This series keeps getting better and better.

This is the third book in a series that starts with Crown of Thorns. The first book was good but the second and third are better and I am very hopeful about the 4th. Gabe and Jenna were best friends since grade school until Gabe makes a pact with a fairy Lord to get magic and loses his soul becoming a monster. Jenna majors in psychology to try and understand what happened. Her thesis director is a vampire and complicates the plot. It's a very good read.

Love this paranormal/suspense /romance all rolled up into one fantastic story. You find yourself being sucked into the world Isabella creates for Jenna and Gabriel. Things are not what she assumes them to be, and she realizes the boy she loved is still there, just trapped by the evil Faerie Lord. Loved it!

Is there a way to heal all wounds of the past? Will everyone finally get their answers to why and how things came to be?

I have to say that this book definitely sucked me in and I will be going back to read the others in the series. I loved the fact that Jenna kept going and didn't give up. I loved how Gabe sacrificed himself to save her. Excellent read and cannot wait to read the others!

This is the third book in a, so far, great series. I loved finding out about Gabe and Jenna, and watching a new part of the Faerie Realm be designed and explained. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see more of the HEA, but that seems to be pretty common for this series. Overall, great book.

Everything was not as it seemed

Well this was a good book with many unexpected twists and turns. Jenna spent her time running from Gabe and everyone else because she did not know the truth. What really happened was much worse than what she thought it to be.

I loved reading about Jenna and Gabriel! And what a twist of an ending (which I won't spoil). And after that excerpt, I'm curious as to Valentine's story now...

Started 27 May, interrupted by Crown of Gold, finally finished another good read...bit confusing with the reflections and mirrors, but still interesting and a good overall read

ONE DELECTABLE ADVENTURE!!!
Explosive! Isabella rocks to her on beat bouncing this baby home beautifully. One incredibly refreshing spin on this bad boy that rocks this baby to the core with it's unquenchable desire that showcases plenty of drama, intrigue and suspense as it blasts this bad boy together piece by piece. A churning eddy of vexing circumstances and a slew of overwhelming surprises push those conflicting emotions to life smoothly. One fantastic storyline and gripping plot keeps spinning with an abundance of twists and turns that launch this bad boy to a whole new level. Pushing through all the trials and tribulations as skepticism, determination, turmoil and distress adds depth that delivers layer upon layer with such realism it grabs your attention from the start. The chemistry is intense, white hot, explosive. The characters and their personalities are original, intriguing and strong. Solid individuals who balance out and play off one another beautifully. The scenes are graphically detailed to give you a full understanding and realism that flows smoothly from each scenario without a hitch. Remarkable job Isabella, thanks for sharing this incredible little jewel with us.

An Adventurous Supernatural World.
Crown of Glass has a very intricate storyline that full attention is needed in order to fully enjoy and appreciate. The main characters, especially Jenna the Witch, Adrian the Vampire, and Gabe the Warlock, kept the plot moving along. And there was a lot to keep moving along.
I must confess that at times I was lost. There was a lot of italicization at times which I find distracting. Was Jenna remembering the past, having an inner dialogue, in another realm, all three? I ended up skipping pages which I hate to do but I wanted to give the book a fighting chance so I thought skipping was better then just not finishing. I am glad I persevered because I got back into the plot and was happy to see Kaitlyn and then Gabe and Jenna’s HEA.
So I do recommend this book because I recognize that the amount of italics used is my issue and may not be any other reader’s issue.
I received this ARC from “Bad Boy Update” for my honest review so I’m leaving this for your consideration. Peace.

*Spoiler Alert*
Jenna (FMC) has been sick for whole life. The reason being as a witch her magic is making her ill. Having tried everything imaginable to cure her including using the help of her professor and Vampire - Adrian but things dont go to plan. When an old friend and Warlock - Gabe turns up and her life gets more complicated and feelings resurface. A bittersweet romance which is full of laughs and tears in equal measure and a HEA. Jenna and Gabe are such great characters that you couldnt help but love and want to see together. Just loved this book
