I used it as my first handbook to learn C language, during my school days. I guess it was 3rd edition paperback. Most recommended for beginners; covers all variables statements and other C concepts.

Recently recommended this to cousin; only concern is to get start with programming setup hoping that newer versions have updated this info for various platforms like Windows 10, Linux, Mac OS.

Rest it is the best you can get.
