SAS Rogue Unit Boxset: Going Rogue, Rogue Justice and Loveable Rogue

Rate this book
Three addictive, scorching hot military-tinged romances by Amazon bestselling romantic suspense author, Louise Rose-Innes.

GOING ROGUE
Lilly has no choice but to trust the tough, sexy ex-special forces operative to guide her out of the Afghan mountains to safety. As Grant leads her across the unforgiving terrain, risking his life to protect her, Lilly can’t deny her growing feelings or the intense physical attraction between them.
Grant feels it too, but giving in to his desire would mean betraying his best mate’s memory, and that’s not something he’s prepared to do. Not even for the girl of his dreams.

ROGUE JUSTICE
Sullen. Somber. Sexy as hell.
That’s Cole Armstrong.

Anna is convinced he’s been put on this earth to annoy her.
Leading a dream tour through southern Africa should have been a breeze, until HE arrived. One minute he’s driving her mad with his blatant disregard of the rules, the next she wants to rip the clothes off his brawny, broad-chested body and lock lips with the blue-eyed beast.
But when they get stranded in the African bush, Cole shows her a side to him that she never expected.

Medically discharged with nowhere to go. Then Cole gets a call from the SAS Rogue Unit, offering him this security job in Africa. It’ll be a piece of cake, they said. All he has to do is keep the guy there for three weeks until the trial. Easy.
Yeah right!
They obviously hadn’t met his gorgeous, leggy tour guide with the mussed-up bed-hair and a body to die for? She’s a distraction he does not need.
When things go horribly wrong and people start turning up dead, Cole knows he’s the only one who can save them. But by doing so, he’ll blow his cover and put his target’s life at risk.

LOVEABLE ROGUE
When Jamie is sent to protect an oil rig in the Seychelles from a possible pirate threat, the last thing he expects to find is love. Penelope is a chemical engineer and one of the sexiest women Jamie has ever met - and he's met a few. Despite his best attempts to befriend her, she’s determined not to let him get close, but then the oil rig is attacked and suddenly they’re thrust together in a situation he never expected.
When Penny agrees to a job on an exploratory oil rig in the middle of the Indian Ocean, she doesn’t expect to meet a smoking hot, blue-eyed ex-military private security contractor who looks like he’s just stepped out of Sports Illustrated and who’s dimpled smile makes her weak at the knees. But she’s known men like Jamie before – cocky, confident and only after a good time. No way is she falling for him. But when disaster strikes and they get stranded on a deserted island, Penny sees a different side to the loveable rogue – a side she could easily fall in love with.

Special Forces across the pond. The male leads: Grant, Cole and Jamie are all former SAS (British Special Forces) and find themselves a bit adrift after leaving the service - both willing and not. While obviously fiction, the books seem realistic in the portrayals of the difficulties of serving (especially in special forces), maintaining relationships and what comes after leaving. Of course. they're also smoking hot, with abs for days and libidos in overdrive, especially with the One. The female leads: Lilly, Anna and Penny are well thought out neither damsels in distress nor superwomen and thankfully none TSTL. The adventures behind each meeting are informative and engaging. You'll root for all the couples to get their HEAs.

I have found all 3 books in this series to be unique. gripping & sexy page turners that I can highly recommend....

Going Rogue
This was one of the most compelling reads this year & I'm a prolific reader. It was raw, gritty, intense & compassionate & full of love & sexual tension perhaps the more intense because their lives were on the line, literally. If you only buy one book this year make sure it's this one, you will not be disappointed & it's one of those extra specials that I just know I will re-read in the future.

Rogue Justice
Okay, so maybe I was a bit biased as this was set in my adopted country & travelled to so many other places close but far that we have still yet to see & when we can get to lock up & go, we're planning to visit many of them. Irrespective, this was yet another flawlessly crafted beautiful script that seemed to draw on all the emotions, it was light, dark, angsty to seriously scary, chivalrous, dangerous, raw & tender loving off the charts toe curling sexual healing. This was so close to my heart as I have adopted orphan ellies via a wild life trust in Kenya. Poaching is rife here, also our sacred rhinos, cry my beloved country!

Loveable Rogue
This author's flawless story grabbed me big time, again because it resonates, being set so close to the country I adopted, beautiful, deeply flawed South Africa. The main characters were from the land of my birth, UK, but one of the villains was from Durban where I have lived for many years, sjoe! This remarkable author gives you every feeling, danger, criminality at the highest level, betrayal, a building respect & intense love developed between the main characters that was beyond toe curling but so tender & healing.

If you’re a fan of romantic suspense featuring hunky ex-military heroes, then you’ll love this collection. Thankfully, the heroines aren’t wimpy, either! I’ll say a few things about each of the books:

Going Rogue: It’s always a little laughable to me when the H/H are thinking about sex as they’re running for their lives. Even more questionable was the when and where they had sex. All chuckling aside, the other issue with this story was the fact that it had only been a few months since Lilly’s fiancé (and his teammate/friend) died. If she’d revealed that she really loved him more as a friend than a lover, then her feelings for Grant might have felt a little more palatable. It almost felt like Grant was more upset than she was about his death. Even so, I fell for Grant, especially when he sacrificed himself for her freedom. This story delivered on the suspense and the attraction.

Rogue Justice: This one seemed to take a long time to really get going and was my least favorite of the three. We spent the first half of the book going from tourist spot to tourist spot with nothing happening except the heroine having bad luck and looking a bit foolish (as if the author wanted to make sure we knew she’d done her research on African safaris). When the action finally picked up, it was solid/good but then seemed a bit rushed and predictable at the end.

Loveable Rogue: A twist on the shipwrecked-on-an-island theme. Jamie and Penny are the only ones to survive a blast on an oil rig and must outrun and outwit the bad guys. It was a little predictable (I actually giggled out loud at one point) but there were also some moments of vulnerability that made me root for both characters. Their HEA felt the most real so this was my favorite of the three.

Swoon worthy

Picturing Grant, Cole and Jamie as I read these books got me all hot and bothered- in a good way! Good thing I have my own H to . . . well, you know!
Louise Rose-Innes has found a new fan. Looking forward to reading more from her. She tells a great story, with just enough spice in it, that it’s hard to put down.

Read all three books separately and the were great. Book 2 wasn't my favorite, not enough action for me, but the other two were great. book three was my favorite so far. Lots of action, the guys found their women and HEA.
