I can’t fight what I feel anymore. I don’t have to choose. I belong to the Volkovs and they belong to me.
Nora Blessing’s first year as a wolf shifter at The Lycan Academy is speeding toward its conclusion. It’s been both the best and worst year of her entire life. So far she’s learned her entire life story is a lie. Her aunt is not her aunt. Her parents are not dead—or at least didn’t die when she was little. And she might not be completely a bitten shifter. Oh...and she has a twin sister.
What she does know is she’s crazy about four Russian brothers who want to be her everything in return. But she’s turned away from them yet again, feeling out of her depth. Also her best friend AJ is missing and nobody seems all that worried about it except her.
She’ll need to go on a wild ride to find her past, resolve the demons in her present, and secure her future. If she has the gifts to make it happen.
Third Snarl is a paranormal shifter academy romance with four of the sexiest guys ever and a brand new shifter finding her way in their world. It’s book 3 of the Lycan Academy, and the heat and suspense will climb with each volume. This slow-burn reverse harem romance will make readers crave more with every page.
Mazzy J. March is a fan of all things paranormal--shifters, vampires, witches...dragons and all the many creatures that inhabit the world beyond the ordinary. She has been plotting her Academy stories for a long time and is thrilled to finally have them releasing and ever grateful to the readers who are offering such support and helping her dreams come true.
If you are reading this, it's not too late! RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS MESS!!!
I don't remember the last time I hated a book the way I hate this one. First off, and yes, this should have been addressed in the first book's review, but I didn't bother to write one, the names of the Volkov brothers are just stupid. "Danger," "Fury," "Syn" and "Roth." Seriously. And poor Roth, why didn't he get a killer name like, well, "Killer" or how about "Mayhem?" Then we could pretend we were watching Dean Winters in a State Farm commercial instead of reading this vile crap.
The twist we discovered in book two is that the crazy possessed chick is, of course, Nora's twin sister. Duh. From there it's a downward spiral into vapid cliches like her parents being alive after all, her aunt not really being her aunt, her parents separating her and her twin sister like they're the Skywalker twins (Please! Return of the Jedi was a fucking masterpiece, Ewoks included, compared to this jumbled disaster of idiocy), etc.; enough plot holes to fill a whole other book (and for the love of humanity, Mazzy, PLEASE JUST DON'T!!!); completely confusing happenings like the penultimate scene where she's facing off against the demon that possessed her sister, and her mates, who have sworn never to allow her to face danger alone all vanish to retrieve her sister from school...ALL FOUR OF THEM. Then, somehow, according to the "heroine," her sister and all four mates are back at the cottage safe and snug behind the magic wards set up by only-Ms.-March-knows-who. Now at no point did anyone ever mention anything about teleportation skills. Just sayin'.
Furthermore, why do the Volkovs have a cottage on the school grounds when everyone else has to live in dorms? Why the hell did they build the damn thing on school grounds in the first place, knowing that they were building it for their future mate? Why do the Russian mates forget to have accents sometimes (although, that is lamely explained by the MC realizing that their accents are thicker when she's around because she makes them nervous. *eye-roll while facepalming with one hand and tearing out hair with the other*) Why does the author insist on using words whose meanings she obviously doesn't know? Why does she keep talking about how incredibly hot the guys are when the picture on the front clearly shows four dorks? Okay, that was beside the point, but still...
I finally just could not read anymore when, during this "apocalyptic battle," wherein the worst thing that happens is the wind blowing her hair around and giving her the chills, the MC stops to scold the demon about being mean to trees. Yes, you read that right.
So, okay, I didn't get to the very end. Maybe there are no plot holes after all. Maybe Ms. March managed to bring all the plot points together and tie them up in a pretty little bow with only about 20 pages or so left. Maybe she managed to turn the whole thing into a masterpiece worthy of the title "literature." I doubt it, and I'll never know because I couldn't endure one more word of this excruciating story. Hell, I only stuck around as long as I did was to give the damn thing the MST3K treatment.

Nora has so many questions and no answers. She is finally starting to except her mates. Her sister is now safe from the demon, but for how long? Can she accept the truth and be with for men? Can she find the answers she seeks? Can she stop the demon?

The 3rd book and the last book in this series is by far the best i think. Saving the best until last. The ending was exactly how id hoped it would go and im glad the slow burn turned up to a quick boil in this book. A perfect way to end. Sad that its ending but maybe Sharon gets her own Rh and series? I really hope so! Loved this series so much
This was simply an awful series. I do feel bad for saying this, but it was just terrible. The first book was interesting and though there were some things I was not a fan of (complete lack of information and overabundance of non-answers). Also what happened to her new male friend that touched her arm in the cafeteria? He's NEVER mentioned again. I was entertained enough to continue.
Book 2 was a complete waste of time. She basically stays inside for an unmentioned number of months. What about AJ?! You mean your "BFF" never once comes to visit you?! What happened to Jade.. she was mentioned ONCE in this book and that was only to be listed as Nora's friend. Then Nora's stupid playing "I like you/I dont wanna make any of you jealous/omg you guys are mine". That by itself wouldn't be bad but all in the same "thought", repetitively! The end with Syn, the rejection.. so unnecessary. So...she just forgot that on her 1st day of school she was told one of them had been the biter. Then there's the whole secret evil sister bit and of course she MUST save her. AND the sister is her TWIN (like identical twin)....no one (headmaster other students etc) noticed the new chick looked EXACTLY like the past/crazy student?!? Gtfo.
Book 3-AGAIN there was zero plot. WHYYY do we never REALLY get any answers about anything?! Not only that, even the sub plots are not finished. *Nora's demon possessed sister took AJ and yet she still hasn't come back. We get to 91% before AJ is mentioned again, and all that was mentioned is how Nora hopes she's okay and she will find her one day. Nice. *What about the Hellcats? Nothing. Everything that could have been interesting was glossed over. Nora's rare, all powerful demon killing magic was molten metal. Like liquid silver and gold. Wow.
I took a peak at the next book in the series and it focuses on Jade. Jade, the "friend" we met in book one. The same friend the mc NEVER interacts with again! The same Jade that has not been seen since.
I'm honestly disappointed I spent so much time on this. The character development was nonexistent, the speech was awkward, nothing was ever really explained, the big bad evil was defeated anticlimactically. In short, I do not recommend this book or the series!

I hate that I read these. Once I start a series, I can't stop but I really wish I had. The character development is nil. The sex is non-existent. The world building is faulty and plotless. Sometimes there are things you don't understand at the beginning of a series but it gets explained later. Don't expect that here. We are never told why the demon wanted Nora, why aj disappeared, why their parents didn't return (even though in an obvious edit miss there is a pov change chapter that mentions that they visit monthly) NOTHING explained ever. Do not read this book
This story is filled with so many questions for Nora Blessing. As her first year at the Lycan Academy is ending, she has gotten many of the answers, but there is still more to discover. So far she’s learned her entire life story is a lie. Her Aunt Sela is not her aunt, although she had loved Nora and taken care of her; she is actually a powerful witch and good friends with her mother. Her parents are not dead—or didn’t die when she was little. Her mother, Nora, was a powerful witch and her father was part shifter. Nora needs to find her parents so her mother can unlock her powers. And she might not be completely a bitten shifter because of her dad being a shifter. She has a twin sister, Sharon. She’d been possessed by the demon who’d pursued Nora, had killed another student while possessed, and was still recovering in the infirmary. Also still an open issue, her best friend AJ is missing and nobody seems all that worried about it except her.
Her mates asked her to come talk to them. She had asked Syn to leave in anger when she found out he was the one who had bitten her, and she was now missing him terribly, as were his three brothers. She was not rejecting him as mate but merely asked for some space while she settled herself. The guys -- Fury, Danger, and Roth -- had assumed the worse, so this was a relief to them. They needed to talk to Sharon to get as much information as she could remember about her parents and the demons, but she didn’t even recall how she had escaped and might not be able to tell them much. When Roth went to find Fury, Nora and Sharon escaped and made their way to a bus station. Their adventure to find their parents had begun! They just had to get away before her mates caught up to her. Would she find her parents? Would Aunt Sela be able to help?
There is so much more in this well-written story line, but you’ll enjoy it more to read it for yourself. The story is exciting and has many open questions to resolve. Grab your copy and enjoy!
I loved it! It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. This is a paranormal shifter academy romance with four of the sexiest guys ever and a brand new shifter finding her way in their world. The heat and suspense will climb with each volume. This slow-burn reverse harem romance will make readers crave more with every page. Welcome to Lycan Academy. Nora is trying to connect with her twin sister she didn't know she had, now she isn't possessed by a demon. She has so many questions about her family, why Sela was raising her. Why doesn't she remember anything about her past. She still hasn't fully mated with her mates yet, she still hasn't spoken to Syn. She misses him badly and doesn't know how to bring him back. They need to fix that. That will go to the back burner when her twin Sharon suggest they leave to visit her her old home and the lady she called Aunt. They sneak out of school and make it to Sela's house. Sela gives them so information but not much. While at Sela's, two of Nora's mates track her down. She speaks to them and they will go and help them try to find her parents. Nora's gut instinct leads her to various spots that she clearly remembers. It will be a ride for Nora and her twin Sharon. Plus Nora will make a decision about her mating with the brothers. What she learns about her magic. Nora will finally come into her own after everything they experience.
This was a great read, it had a little bit for everyone. There are a few scenes that people will consider steamy. It doesn't detract from the story at all

Nora's life just can't run smoothly. At the end of book 2, she told Sin, one of the Volkov brothers, that she didn't want to see him after she found out he's the one that bit her turning her in to a wolf shifter.
Her sister tells her that their parents aren't dead, or they weren't, & her aunt isn't her aunt. They head out to find her parents & she leaves the brothers behind. She just can't escape them for long. They catch up with her & go with her on the mission to locate her parents to finally learn about her past. She finally accepts that all 4 of the brothers are her fated mates, and she completes the mating with each.
This is a wonderfully written reverse harem & has strong characters. The world building is creatively written. I've really enjoyed all 3 books in this series & wonder what's in store for our fabulous 5, Nora's sister, and the missing AJ.
Nora is learning so much about her life, her mates and her twin. Its time to found her parents and get answers on why she was raised and split apart from her family. She needs Syn back too. Nora is also trying to be able to mate woth her 4 mates along the way. Plus kill a demon or take the bitch down to hell with her. This series is a fun to read. Yes there are a few typos and grammer mistakes but its still worth the read. I don't like doing reviews much cuz i just want to devour more books. I love to read and when ones done i am starting another. Yep my life seems a little boring but i can't help wanting to find the next good book. Enjoy 😉
Very YA! IMHO 18 is waay too young to be fully mated and everything, even more so when its a harem. Also, I noticed the author has this annoying habit of teasing, hinting making promises but never actually delivering. Throughout all three books every time someone promises to talk, share information. They never do. They might talk eventually, but never actually deliver on the information. Same again in this book like with Sela or Mable "I'll tell you everything in the morning", which turns out to be nothing at all. Or the parents promising to teach/ train them only when it comes to it, all they can tell them is that they have nothing to teach them.
I quite enjoyed the first two books but this one fell flat for me. It seemed to focus more on the sex and romance than the fantasy. Not just that the fantasy was not focussed on, it was lacking on detail. There were so many details missed out and I felt like I do understand why a lot of stuff happened.
I felt like the brothers were all just the same to me, no difference in their personalities for me.
Overall not great, not as good as the first two, has potential but really lacking on detail and finese.
This was a nice quick wrap-up of the series. But as a whole, series had a lot of inconsistencies and typographical errors. The was no depth to any of the characters or really the story in general. For a trilogy, there should have been some character development. If all you’re looking for is a slow-medium burn RH/Shifter story, it’s fine. It was entertaining and a good way to get your mind off things. There certainly wasn’t anything you had to ponder. The writing was fit for YA, just not the content.
I liked the entire idea behind these books, but overall it needed work. There are a lot of editing and grammar issues throughout the 3 books. Theyre short, like I wrote college papers longer than these books. The books skip large periods of time to jump into the next scene because they're so short. I liked the brothers character ideas, because ya know, Russian hunks but they lacked a lot of detail and actual personalities. These could definitely be re-written and turned into something great, but right now they feel rushed, too short, and missing important character and plot details.
Wow this series is getting hotter and more suspenseful as it goes along and this is book 3 of The Lycan Academy and it’s another fantastic addition to this series but sadly it’s the last one well I hope not but who knows ( oh yeah that’s right the author lol ). Even though I loved the other books I just wish that the fighting was a bit longer but apart from that I really enjoyed this story with Nora and her guys the Volkov brothers and I recommend this book.
Nora is still with Volkov brothers and working her way threw forgiving Syn. Her sister is recovering and they will go on a journey together. Nora will finally have a moment to commit to her mates. And there will be a battle with a demon long overdue but were has Nora's friend AJ disappeared too. Only rated this book a four because it felt a little rushed. The book is still good thow.

Four Russian gorgeous alpha male brothers need to mate with Nora but she refuses them she just needs space after finding out Syn was one that bit her. She needs to find her parents to help her and really needs to be mated by her four. Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

This was a great ending to Nora, Zayn, Roth, Danger, and Fury’s part of the story. I really hope we hear more about them in future books on the series, and I felt the author could’ve delved more into what a future between the five of them would be like. The passion in this book was so steamy and good, and I highly enjoyed reading more about Nora(and Sharon)’s past.
Okay so her aunt wasn’t her aunt by blood. She met her real aunt and her parents. I still don’t get why her parents sent her and her sister away…just because they had a lot of power and there was a prophecy. Couldn’t they have reached out. I am hoping AJ really did run off with the boys and the demon didn’t do anything to her. I’m glad that her and her sister were able to have a relationship and that she forgave Syn. It was a good trilogy and a fast read.

This book really felt rushed. It didnt feel as polished and everything moved at a fast pace. Nothing felt natural. It was as if the author had an outline and went exactly from that. It was all formulated and boring as there really didn't seem like it allowed for any character growth. It was predictable. The whole book just sorta fell flat for me.
Third Snarl by Mazzy J. March is an amazing story that I have read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have lovd reading very much. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about paranormal romances.

This book 3 in the The Lycan Academy Series is a very well written story in the series with characters that are strong, have depth and evolve as the series evolve. This is not a stand-alone story. Cannot wait for more stories from this Author.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this continuation of the story with Danger, Fury, Syn, Roth and Nora. This is a story about their mating and trying to find Nora and Sharon's parents. There's a nasty demon trying to kill them and Nora needs the guys help.

I struggled to finish this book. Normally I’d just give up on it, but I figured it was a short enough read I’d just finish it. In the end, everything gets worked out and it is a good stopping place for Nora’s story. Since it came to an end with the demon, I’m happy with not continuing on with the next book in the series that features a new heroine.
Was very disappointed to be honest. Nothing was developed very well. The emotions around Nora, her sister and perents was lacking. The reason they left them and separated them was stupid and not well explained, kind of like the 'dog ate my home work' sort of thing. So all in all not worth the read.
Bring out a 5th book!!!!! We still don't know exactly what happened to AJ... Sharon said when she was possessed that she had AJ tied up out in the woods. But then they say she possibly ran off with the Dragon shifters. It doesn't say definetly what has happened to her... Bring on a 5th book and new evil!!!! Lol
2.5 stars. It was okay. Not enough detail or true character development. The answers they tried to find… well it didn’t really help or explain anything. Also so confused about AJ. Does she not care her friend is missing? If her friend truly ran away I don’t see her as the type to vanish and not tell Nora etc. the book was very frustrating.
Absolutely loved this book!! I am sad it’s over. I would LOVE another book, even a novella, about maybe when they get pregnant? I would really love that. You should absolutely read this book and series!
