My Big Fat Fairy Wedding!

In what is probably the fastest planned royal wedding of all time, Grace and Levi still have to deal with the crazy that is Shady Grove and the growing threat from the Otherworld.

Grace isn't so keen on the idea of a huge wedding, but Levi and all of her friends insist that it is necessary to make a statement to her Uncle Brockton who is moving his chess pieces to prepare for their attack on the Otherworld. Now that allies rule the Summer realm, Grace knows that moving on Winter needs to be done quickly, but she can't do that without a proper heir.

Aydan isn't ready for such a responsibility, and Grace must marry Levi since she can not endow the realm to him by speaking his name. Her closest and most trusted friends reveal secrets about her mother along with other revelations that might rock Grace's fortitude to crack. Grace's friends and family pull together to put together the biggest fairy wedding this side of the Tree of Life.

A crazy bachelorette party at Hot Tin Roof! An assassin with an attitude and a severed head! Other crazy wedding antics to make you smile and laugh as Grace and Levi tie the knot!

Fit to Be Tied is the 13th book in Kimbra Swain's Fairy Tales of a Trailer Park Queen.

Well they finally got married. Not much of a fight in this one. I was expecting more as it always seems that it's times like this that they are attacked. I'm feeling that the other characters are getting a bit forgotten in these last few books. We get a brief mention of them but no where near what we used to. Winnie seems to be growing in strength but we aren't seeing a lot of it.

OMG!! AWESOME!!

Ms. Swain has done it again! I love that Grace and Levi finally get their wedding, but of course, with this being Shady Grove, nothing is ever simple or easy. The ups and downs were true to the town and the people in it. Cletus and Tater were welcome comedy relief, and it was good to see the valkyrie and some of the other residents of Shady Grove that we haven't seen for a bit. The story was fast-paced and very well written. Once I started, I could not stop. Thank you for inviting us back to your world Ms. Swain, it was a wonderful ride that I can't wait to get on again.

After much thought (okay, not really much), I have decided that I don't want to live in Kimbra Swain's twisty, convoluted mind. HOWEVER, I do want to read the books that her wonderfully twisty, convoluted mind comes up with!

Fit to be Tied is no exception. The 13th installment in the Trailer Park Queen series, is great fun. You really should read the earlier books in the series first so that the overall story arc makes sense.

The banter is there, beloved side characters are there, andmany characters are further developed as the overall story progresses. That's part of what I love about Author Swain's books. Characters aren't static. They grow and change.

This book is a slight pause - an exhale in the storyline. It's not an exhale of boredom or relief or anything like that; it's an exhale of satisfaction, of 'oh, that makes sense,' and 'finally!' Then the breath is drawn in and one is ready to continue on.

So if you're looking at reviews to decide if it's worth reading or not, stop reading my silly review and go get the book for yourself. It's worth it!

I read an early copy of the book and have chosen to review it.

Once again, even after so many books, I was enthralled by Fit to be Tied. It was a fast read, simply because I couldn't stop reading. Grace, Levi, and especially Winnie, have captured my heart through this tale, and I am already chomping at the bit to find out what happens next. Fit to be Tied easily ranks up there with some of the best books in the series, and the author isn't done yet! i'm both excited and terrified to eventually reach the end of the series.

An awesome book fit for a Queen!

Kimbra Swain is a master storyteller. She writes with humor and excitement. There is a build up that I often savor and she likes to throw in curve balls that you don't expect. I love Fit To Be Tied because Grace and Levi are two of my favorite characters. This story has been a long time coming and it was filled with laughter, tears and most of all, magic! I will be anxiously waiting for the next one!

It's been a long time coming and it was worth the wait. Grace and Levi's big day is happening and there are a few obstacles to get through first. We are almost to the end of the series, and yet, the author does a fantastic job keeping things fresh. These characters feel like friends and as readers we are invested in the outcome. There were some shocking surprises in this book. Full of love, humor, action, and relationships this series just gets better all the time. I cannot wait for more!

Another great book!

Another great installment of this series. With the sass and southern sayings of Grace and the mystery of the background stories of the characters. Hard not to like. And Cletus and Tater... this overall series wouldn’t be the same without the only 2 humans left in the town LOL!

I Love love love this series. I just can't get enough! Levi and Grace have grown so much together and it's great to read how much they love each other. The battle for Winter is coming fast but there is always something else going on in Shady Grove and outside forces needing to be tended to. While we might think this book is about Levi and Grace getting hitched, believe me when I say there is much more to this story.

It's the event of the century! Grace and Levi's wedding day has finally arrived but in true Shady Grove fashion, nothing ever goes as planned. We have disappearances, murders, kidnappings and more all on top of our wedding day jitters! What's a fairy queen to do? How about take out her frustration on the encroaching wild fae forces for starters?! Come along for the ride as the Winter Queen and her Bard King finally tie the knot in true trailer park fashion!

Oh my gosh it's so good. You'll laugh, you'll cry and feel your heart mended. I've enjoyed this whole series but this is the best one yet. You get to see the awesomeness of the characters and get hints of what's to come. Seriously so amazing!

As always Kimbra has done a fabulous job in this latest FTOATPQ book. It was fast paced I stayed engaged from start to finish. You need to read the previous books in the series to keep up with all the characters but it is well worth it. I loved the interaction between Grace and Jenny. There were a couple of interesting twists I can’t wait to see evolve more (trying not to spoil anything). As usual I’m totally ready for the next book!

Another great story. I'm itching for the Winter battle. I cried a little with all of Levi's sweetness and I laughed in more than one place. Cletus and Tator shined in their trailer light. Lol. I gasp with Grace for Winnie and my heart broke with the brownies. I definitely recommend the whole series and joining the Facebook group for the extras.

Finally! It is a part of the story I've been waiting for, and of course, it was beautifully done! I can't wait to see them battle for Winter, but I was so grateful for this break to deal with their life before all of that nastiness happens. The series is coming to an end (only 2 books left, sob) but this next one is sure to be a doozy! Looking forward to seeing how everything is resolved!

As always the citizens of Shady Grove keep things interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much in a single series of books and this latest on is the same. I know there’s only 2 books left and I’m so dreading that even tho I already can’t wait for the next.

This was a whirlwind of a story and had a lot and I mean a lot, going on. It was very fast paced, and the author gave us more back story on some of the characters and shed some light on other stuff to bring everything together. There really isn't a dull moment in the story and it is told from Grace's perspective instead of like the last couple of books when it's told from Levi writing his bard tales.
Overall it was good, it left you on a cliffhanger though, thank goodness the next story comes out end of the month/beginning of next.
My only complaint is there are so many characters and then almost all of the characters have been reborn and used to be somebody else, so everyone has like 2-3 names which makes things kind of confusing on top of having to keep track of all of the characters. Plus every story another character is becoming a main character. I think at times the author is trying to do too much but I still love the series and am a fan and will continue reading!

I absolutely loved this book!!

I started reading Kimbra Swain's books a couple of months ago and I have not been able to put these books down, and Fit to Be Tied was no exception!! Grace has been through a lot through these past thirteen books and Levi has been by her side through it all. It put a big smile on my face to finally get the wedding of Grace and Levi. Their love is so apparent and they deserve to be happy after everything that they have been through.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Kimbra Swains works and she is an incredible author that I fully recommend her books to anyone who is interested in some paranormal romance with some southern flair added to it!! I am impatiently waiting for the next book in Grace and the gang's journey!

As I read this book, I could not help to think about our current situation with our political unrest. Are we not fighting an unseen evil presence hidden deep into the underground? Every step we take another diversion pops up that divides us into smaller groups unable to conquer the evil that is bearing down on us. If we stay true to our beliefs, sticking together as a whole we will come out ahead. This is similar to what Glory is doing with Dublin and the gang in town. Each twist is either a member is secretly working with her uncle causing more havoc or coming from the underground trying to help her succeed in winning. Kimbra Swain's writing style is easy to read and get intertwined with each character, but it also gives me thought of current political situations/unrests between good and evil. I can't put the series down.

Nothing starts wedded bliss like a sweet peaceful loving wedding ceremony!

I’m so happy for the Trailer Park Wedding to occur! Nothing like folks (creatures?) on both sides of a realm celebrating! The pageantry of beautifully attired wedding party members and a surprise guest or three can truly spice up a quiet wedding with a few close friends or the whole town. Then the one day honeymoon was a fabulous surprise for the newlyweds! Never a couple to procrastinate, the Otherworld demands their attention pronto! Lucky for everyone as soon as the conflict is resolved the honeymoon can resume! Watch out Winter! There is a New King in the land! Hissy Fit on the horizon...

The series has been building up to this.

The dress is ready, the booze is flowing. The bride is anxiously doing nothing whilst everyone is working around her. Grace is completely out of her depth in her latest challenge. Getting Married!

This book is very different to the rest of the series, almost taking a human side of Grace's life in waiting for her big day and having no control over any of it.

As story which just keeps cranking up the tension to 11 until the inevitable pay off, with laughter, tears, shocks and surprises through the whole ride.

After finishing the explosive ending yesterday I can't wait to pick up the next story to see how this series ends.

Another wild ride

The biggest problem with this book is the cast of thousands in the series... Almost everyone's is fae, and since they all were, are, or will be Someone Important, the multiple names/identities are getting confusing. After 12 books there are too many main characters to do them all justice at once. A few drop off the map and I'm waiting for that to turn out to be Important later. But the most important thing is the wedding... Levi and Grace/Gloriana are finally tying the knot, but their happily ever after is still two books away, and it's going to be a wild ride.

My review is Short and sweet, this book had me laughing until tears were streaming... but bigger things are in the horizon and our Trailer Park Queen is ready to take up the mantle to become Queen of Winter.
I love Levi. He’s been my man since day one, and this moment.. all the moments as they prepare for their wedding and the battle of winter is bitter sweet.
Sweet because they are perfect and bitter because I’m bracing myself for the worst to come.
Another amazing installation.

OMGosh I love this series so much and Fit To Be tied is a perfect addition. There is humor: the bachelorette party and the garter at the wedding made me laugh out loud. There are sweet moments: family and friendships are key. There are sexy times: whew! turn up the ac when Grace and Levi finally get some alone time. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't realize that I was at the end until there were no more words. NO!!! Now I have to wait until Ms Swain writes the next installment.

Kimbra Swain has done it again!!! This may be the 13th book in the series, but just like the other books in this series, you feel like you are right there in the action and watching as it all happens. Kimbra is a master storyteller and it shows. This book is one we all have been waiting for, the wedding. Touching, moving and down right hysterical!!! I laughed out several times. If you haven't read this series, it is time to start!!

Who doesn't like weddings!

To be honest, Grace doesn't. And it's her own wedding! While the majority of the book focuses on the wedding, other things are revealed as well. It does get confusing when people are referred to multiple names due to past lives.

If you're from the South, you can really appreciate the Southern humor and slang. Grace and Levi keep you laughing. The fight of their lives approaches and I can't wait to see a certain pair of Royals kick some ass!

This has got to be one of my very favorite book series of all time. Kimbra Swain is a master storyteller and has displayed her talents yet again in Fit to be Tied. I was heartbroken when Dylan died but I can see now that Levi is who Grace was meant to be with. Finally! They are one! Can’t wait to see them take Winter! Come on book 14!!
