I was recommended this book by my husband who usually reads a lot, about these topics: self-development, nutrition, sport, minimalism. At first, I wasn t exactly excited reading about minimalism, downsizing and so on. However, once I started I couldn't put it down. This book changed my life because I ve started to realize what kind of things matter in life. All it took was the first page and I was hooked.

Have you ever looked around and felt that probably something is wrong with stuff that everybody takes for granted?
From TV, social media, consumerism or "friends" around you who don't like to listen, but just pouring blabla's out of their mouth?
If at least something from what I listed is true, then you should grab this book.

It is refreshing to see that there are people around you that do not take "the norm" for granted and push themselves out of their comfort zone for a better life.

Routinalities book is certainly inspirational! It is a good kick in the pants for whoever needs one! Focus! pay attention! A system to keep yourself accountable to yourself. All very well executed.

Can’t fully endorse though because the author leaves out this key message: prioritize constantly to find your real purpose. So he assumes that we all have one.

This book is about how to improve how you live. Each rule is explained in detail, with facts and the author goes into the meaning of each subject philosophically by using varied examples from life.
highly recommend it.

Great book! Even if the author did not attempt to be as objective as possible. Still, I found it interesting.

This book was ok, for non-fiction, I guess. Its hard for me to gauge, given my intense loathing for non-fiction books. They are so unenjoyable.

4 stars. I appreciate the thesis that by choosing to minimize social media and technology in our day-to-day lives, we're choosing to be more deliberate with how we spend our time. I liked some of the advice to consolidate texting, hold conversation office hours, and in general, choose to be more purposeful with what energy we give to reacting to others. I think this book would have been even stronger if the author provided concrete research to this points.
