Tip #1 - Identify your strengths
Tip #2 - Look at what you do willingly/naturally
Tip #3 - Identifying the unique way you express yourself to the world
Tip #4 - Observing your emotions
Tip #5 - Analyzing your experiences

Tip #1 - Identify your strengths

1. What comes easily to you?
Write down your answer to the following question:

What skills come so easily to me that I genuinely can’t understand what’s the big deal about it?

2. What people around think you’re good at?
Send the following email to family members, friends and/or colleagues of your choice. Feel free to create your own template.

Hi_____,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m trying to identify my strengths so I can leverage them to design a more fulfilling career. I really need outside perspectives on what you consider I am really good at.

I’d really appreciate if you could provide me with honest feedback and give me a list of the strengths you think I have.

Please don’t be afraid to tell me anything that comes to mind.

Thanks so much for your support.
Warm regards,

3. What do you enjoy doing?
Write down twenty things you love to do. Then for each item you wrote down, ask yourself:

“Why do I like this thing and what does it say about me, my values and the things I care about?

Look for commonalities between these twenty things.
What I love to do the most Why? What it says about me

Tip #3 - Identifying the unique way you express yourself to the world

Studying your emotions can help you uncover your passion. To do so, you need to take a closer look at the following emotions:

A short book that is lacking direction. The usual cliches are here - follow your passion - overcome your fear.

But reality and life have been parked in this book. Passion does not pay rent. The development of skills - and the strategies and patterns to enable change - are not discussed in this book.

It's a no.

Fairly well written with cogent thinking

Although the author seems to have no reason to claim expertise in this subject, and unfortunately, does not provide any footnotes for reference, his recommendations seem to hang together logically and would be worthy of serious consideration.

This is really a long blog post based on the old adage that if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. The links to his website were broken in my kobo edition, but it’s basically common sense.

A short read. For someone who read self-help books most of the time, this is an average book.

This book will answer all your “what” and not “how”. Nevertheless, this book shows valueable insights for someone who wanted to know what is their strenghts.

Conciso y directo.

Good read in your spare time

Found it interesting and learned some things. But wouldn’t prioritize it over anything. Keep it for when you have spare time.
