Abe was the second book in the Savage Kings MC by Lane Hart and DB West.
We met Abe in book one, Chase, as Chase’s best friend and fellow MC brother. Abe was big and gruff, funny, lighthearted, loyal and never going to give his heart away. He had a rough childhood with a junkie mother who eventually OD’d when he was fifteen.
Mercy Daniels was referenced in book one as Sasha’s college roommate and best friend that was currently touring Europe. We quickly find that she was running from a very public break up and humiliation from being the runner up in a reality dating show. She was slated to start her own bachelorette dating show a few days before she met Abe.
Mercy and Abe were polar opposites but had lightning chemistry. And once Mercy had a stalker, Abe refused to leave her side until the stalker was revealed. The storyline had a suspenseful vibe with the stalker theme, but was primarily centered around Abe and Mercy’s relationship development. The authors threw in some reality tv details as well but kept it with surface details versus diving into the show. Although it was a quick and easy read, I preferred more depth into the characters as well as the storyline.
The authors continued to develop the MC characters as well as further, but not resolve, the MC conflict that was brewing in book one. Torin is up next and I can’t wait to see where the authors lead us.

After a humiliating break up on a national reality show, what does Mercy do? Sign up for another show. This time however, she’ll be the one to pick and choose her Mr. Right. When the paparazzi starts closing in, her friend calls in reinforcements from the Savage Kings MC. And holy heck, but the man that stands before her is all of her dirty fantasies rolled into one humongous package.

I absolutely loved Abe! He had no filter when it came to speaking what was on his mind. Some of the things he said were hilariously adorable and made Mercy, as well as myself, fall for him all the more. I love a big burly hero who doesn’t hesitate to exhibit his jealous, protective tendencies and Abe was quick to do so, sometimes to his own detriment.
Despite Mercy’s own heartbreak, she couldn’t stop herself from falling for the one man that would never want more from her than a night time buddy. I enjoyed her personality as well as her determination to see things through to the end. She had her own reasons and never really let the fear of her stalker stop her from following her plans. There are no “stupid heroine” moments here and for that I was extremely grateful.
Together this couple set my kindle on fire. They were perfect together even as they were complete opposites. I just couldn’t see either of them with anyone else. This was a well-developed story with great secondary characters and written in a style that flowed with ease. The resolution of the stalker was a bit rushed but believable. And the ending was absolute perfection!
There’s a new book boyfriend on the horizon and his name is ABE!

Mad doesn't even cover the way I was when this baby appeared on my Kindle... I was mad because I've almost missed it and I never miss a book from this author. Ever... So you can guess how I was...
Lane Hart has been a constant in my reading life and her books held me hostage just by reading the first chapter. She's amazing and knocked me out book after book. Her writing is hot and wild, intense and special. Each book made me dream and feel things... Oh boy... And then join D.B West and the mix is explosive.
Abe is their latest release and it's the second book from the Savage Kings MC.
But I need to tell you something. Despite all books are standalones you should read Chase first, by doing so you will understand everything...
This book explores the lifes of Abe and Mercy.
Abe is one of the brothers from the Savage Kings MC. He has devoted his life to keep his brothers and families safe but then a tragedy strikes and the president's old lady is killed. That made him not want to settle down with no woman. None... But sometimes life has other ideas...
Mercy just wanted to get away and try to forget what happened but even after 1 year the pain is still there. The fact that she suffered in front of millions doesn't play well in her field so what can she do? Keep hiding or fight to get her life back?
Like I suspected it would be, even before I start reading it, this book just nailed it. Dayum... What a journey.
The plot is magnificent, super engaging and powerful, full of everything that makes a great book...
The interation between the characters is beautiful despite all the drama surrounding them.
The story gave me a few goose bumps because the unknown want right there.
There were parts of the story that I saw myself wanting to hurt someone, these two are super stubborn but there were others that I just wanted to hold them and promise that everything would be alright.
It was a joy to read this book and I know that once you start to read it you won't be able to stop. Trust me. I've read it in one setting... Dayum.
The hot stuff is there and will melt your pantie, I'd you have one. Lol
Lane, Lane, Lane... What can I say? Nothing new right? Dayum this book was amazing, who am I kidding, this series started in the beat way and it's evolving into a masterpiece. Can't wait to read Torin's book.

Abe is the second book in the series and I’d suggest reading the first one to better enjoy this one.
Abe is Chase’s right hand man. He’s not the kind of man that would trust a woman with his heart because he never thought he was worthy of being loved. When he met Mercy he knew he was a lady out of his league but that didn’t men he wouldn’t do anything to protect her from the danger that hovered over her.
The story centers more on the romance budding between Abe and Mercy and not so much on what’s going on at the club. That wasn’t bad though because I got to see the members in a more real setting and that made the story feel more tangible. Both Abe and Mercy had some trust issues and that in turn made them have some unnecessary misunderstandings but I liked the way they managed to solve their problems and reach their HEA. I wasn’t too kin on Mercy doing a reality TV show because that got me out the “MC zone” and because what’s supposed to happen next sounded too implausible. Still, I’m more than ready to find out what Torin (Chase’s brother and the cause of the MC problems) has been hiding from the MC and how on earth is the big, bad Abe going to handle Mercy being in the spotlight.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the author. This is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher.

AAAAH THIS WAS SO WHOLESOME AND HOT!
I loved Abe and Mercy. The chemistry, the spicy scenes, the plot... It was just all so good! The writing and story were a little on the simple side so that's why I'm keeping it at fours stars.

I don’t even know where to start to tell you how terrific this book is! I was fortunate to read an early copy and I devoured it in one sitting. It grabbed my attention from the very beginning, captivated my emotions throughout, and these characters owned a permanent place in my heart by the end. Of course it's a sexy read (this IS Lane Hart we're talking about) and had me by turns laughing out loud and full of tension as events transpired, but the huge amount of heart is what really carried the book. Mercy is so kind and good, and a bit emotionally fragile, and it was amazing to watch things develop between her and the damaged, awkward but well intended and immensely endearing Abe as they navigated an emotional land mine or two.
Theirs is one of those stories that grabs you, heart and soul, holding you spellbound and enthralled, not letting you go until long after the last page. It will suck you in so deep you’ll feel like part of the story, rather than just a casual outside observer. I love every one of these big, tough bikers, am curious about the ongoing club business, and desperate to see what happens in the next book in this series. No one does evocative, heartfelt romance quite like this author, and this may be the best yet, so run to the 1-Click and grab your copy. This is the continuation of the tale that began in the first book of the Savage Kings MC series, ‘Chase’. This story while set in the Savage Kings MC world, has less of the violence and brutality that was prominent in that book. Instead we are given some insight into the personal lives of the club members – their relationships with each other, their families and their women. There’s plenty of laughter, some suspense and lots of steam! Although I guessed the identity of Mercy’s stalker pretty early on, it didn’t lessen my enjoyment of the story. I loved Abe and Mercy’s relationship – how it built from mutual attraction, through their awkwardness in fighting their attraction, to their realization that they could in fact be a couple. The backdrop of the reality TV show provided some great laugh out loud moments! The ongoing hunt for Hector Cruz continues, with some progress achieved that will no doubt be the focus of the next book – Torin.

Lane Hart and D.B. West have done it again!!
This book was such a beautiful and heartbreaking read.
We get more of Abe who we met in Chase's book. We see why he has such a huge amount of trust issues with the opposite sex and why he claims to never want an old lady or kids but once he locks eyes with Sasha's old friend Mercy who is a reality tv star, Abe just may start to rethink his stance on never wanting a family of his own.
From the moment these two meet, I was rooting for them the whole time, Abe and Mercy are no strangers to heartbreak and while they really weren't looking for each other they were exactly what the other one needed. But just when things are looking up for them Mercy learns that she has a stalker and because it comes with the territory of being famous, she can't help but question everyone she comes in contact with except for Abe. I absolutely can't wait for the next book in the Savage Kings MC series!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was anxiously awaiting Abe’s book. We got a glimpse of him in Chase’s story. I was grabbed from the beginning and couldn’t help but fall in love with Abe. He’s got issues, as they all do, but he’s sexy, protective, possessive and will do anything for someone he loves. When he agrees to be Mercy’s bodyguard to protect her from a stalker, there’s something about her that makes him want to be more for her. Their story will grip you, there’s drama, suspense, it’s deliciously steamy and the chemistry is off the charts hot. It’s a story of putting the past behind you and believing that you deserve a happy ending. No spoilers from me, this is a must read and I highly recommend this book. Lane and D.B. are rocking this series and I can’t wait for what’s next to come. Loved it!

Count me in for a good MC story and this is one.
I like the way they meet and how Abe is lost for words.
But taken Mercy safe to her house on her first bike ride and what happens next, because she can't resist it? So hot!
Abe is giving her the time of her life and is taking good care of her.
Being the bad boy biker he is he did get scared with what happens, because he isn't used to having feelings for a woman.
And Mercy isn't looking for a relationship at all, because of the TV show she is going to do.
But since a stalker pops up and she needs protection Abe is willing to give that to her.
Have to say the stalker did have a twist for me later in the book, didn't see that coming.
I also didn't see the end coming, but I loved it.
I also like how Abe tells what he thinks, that is refreshing.
Fantastic read I would love to read more in this series.

Book two in the Savage Kings MC series. Can be read and enjoyed as stand-alone. Characters from book one are secondary characters as well as other members of the MC. Each book is about a different member of the MC and their HEA, but there is a MC issue/ problem that is ongoing throughout the series. Abram Cross is the best!! Completely swoon worthy! He is sweet, protective and falls hard for Mercy. Mercy has been on a reality tv dating show where she was jilted a year ago. She is now getting ready to start filming another season where she dates 20 men. Abe steps up to be Mercy's bodyguard when she has paparazzi and a stalker following her. I loved the amount of time they spend together in the story. They both have insecurities and trouble communicating with each other. Sweet epilogue, I look forward to more in this series!

I am seriously loving this MC series! Abe and Mercy are beyond hot! They hit it off so fast. There is no back and forth of if they get together.... they get together so fast. The question is always will they come clean with each other and stay together! Mercy has a stalker and Abe is helping to protect her. I won't say who the stalker is.... I will only say that I thought I had an idea but I was wrong! It was quite suspenseful. I enjoyed every minute of this book. There is a great story line also going along through the books. I am quite excited to see what happens next with this MC. This book is freaking great and I think that everyone, especially of you like MC books, needs to one-click it now!

Abe by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that you will want to crown. This is the second book in the Savage Kings MC series and they get better and better at writing and the talent just blows me away. Abraham Cross is a bad boy and we all know bad boys are the best kind. But just because he’s a bad boy doesn’t mean that he’s bad to the bone. Abe is a yummy man who has a thing for redheads and when he meets one who should want the bad boy then you know trouble is a foot. Mercy Daniels has everything going on one path, one path that leads a certain way but when your heart leads another what would you do? This will blow your socks off and take you on a ride you wont ever forget.

Abe and Mercy are so hot together that steam came off my iPad. Mercy sure knew how to bring Abe to his knees when it came to love and to bring out the protection gene big time thanks to a bad guy. There's marriage in the air for one couple, continued grieving, retribution, and a journey for another. But, will they ever find out if there is a mole?
This is a great MC Series. Book 1 was Chase and I encourage you to read that one since Abe and Chase are best buds. I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

What is a girl to do when she meets a big, tough, bearded biker wearing a t-shit that offers beard rides for 10 cents. Mercy gets way more than she bargained for. Abe and Mercy’s story is another great ride in this series. Abe is protective and possessive and has to break through his own barriers to admit that he’s falling for Mercy.
My one critique is the believability of the MC being on board with reality tv.

Loved this book! It was really sweet!
Abe stole my heart from the beginning! He made me doubt about my long-time-bookboyfriend "Senn" ( don't worry baby Iam still faithful! )
The story goes easily, you will get some drama, but the main point it's the characters and their insecurities.
She was not my favorite, but let's be real, LHart has written about some kickass girls...so it's tough to be great!
I am already getting ready for Torin , I know it will be another awesome one!

Oh wow, i don’t even know why I'm surprised anymore that Lane Harts books are always nothing short of amazing everytime! And with her teaming up with D.B. West hasn't changed this! If anything they are just as amazing!
I absolutely loved Abe and Mercy's story, it was everything you want in a book, swoon worthy, hot and sweet at time with the right amount of evil ;)

What do you do when you get humiliated on national tv? Well that’s what happens to Mercy but now she back and like the show bachelorette she gets to choose. But unfortunately Mercy has a stalker so who’s to help Abe, the sexy alpha man who says what’s on his mind and makes ya swoon! Chemistry is off the charts! The angst keeps ya going till the end. I loved this book definitely in my top favorites of Lane Hearts 5/5 Stars

Abe is the second book in the Savage Kings MC series and stands alone however, I recommend that you read Chase first because there is an underlying story that is continuing from the first book and you're going to want to know what happened in the past. Abe was a lot of fun and after reading Chase, a sexy rom com MC book was needed. Abe is Chase's best friend in the club and will do anything for him. Chase's fiancee Sasha has a friend from college that just moved back to town. Mercy is filming a television show and she is "The Queen of Hearts" and the show is trying to find her "King". The two ladies are having lunch and get surrounded by paparazzi. Sasha calls Chase for help and he comes along with Abe. Abe takes one look at Mercy and is a goner! Abe and Mercy are opposites in a lot of ways but they both have been hurt badly in the past. This story is a lot of fun but don't worry that there isn't any action or angst because there is and there's a lot of heat too! It's told from dual POV and it's a really good series. I recommend it completely.

Wow! Really don’t know what else I can say. Like the first book of this series (Chase), this book was phenomenal. Not quite as much of an emotional roller coaster, although I was prepared for if it was 😝
Abe and Mercy are fantastic characters that pull you into their story. Throw in a stalker, a reality tv show, and a biker who’s doesn’t believe in love. What else could you ask for??
Now I’m so excited for Torins story and am impatiently waiting for that release.

Oh my Abe! Broken from his past, he believes he doesn't deserve to have much of anything. He tries to keep his distance but oh sweet Mercy! He can't help himself. He swears it's only a few nights, he can't have anything more. Mercy, sweet Mercy! She's been broken by a man she thought loved her. She doesn't want anything to hurt her again. I loved every bit of watching Abe and Mercy find out what they could have together!

Mercy has trust issues when it comes to men. Abe has trust issues when it comes to women. Together can they truly learn trust again. This was a fascinating and really sexy read. I love books that are written from more than one point of view. This book to me was flawless from beginning to end.

Abe is the second book in the Savage Kings MC series and one you unequivocally must read. If you loved Chase's story then you will go head over heels for Abe. This book was a thrilling, keep you on the edge of your seat, couldn't put it down if you tried kinda read and I undeniably read it in one sitting. Abe and Mercy will captivate you with the relationship, seduce you with their chemistry and spellbind you with their explosive heat. Abe single handedly captured my heart and he'll do the same to you!

This is second of three books in the Savage MC series. The romance of Abe and Mercy will grab your heart. He's a tough guy and former bad boy who gets inspired to be better after meeting Mercy. Strong characters, lots of steamy scenes and fast-paced. No shortage of drama or danger. A great continuation to the series that I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. This is a standalone but you will get more back story if you read Chase first.
