Alyanna never believed in fairy tales and happy endings. She was forced to work and suffer by her despicable aunt and cousin after her parents died when she was only seven. Despite the hardship, she still wished for a better future. However, her loathsome relatives stole the money that her parents left for her when she turned 18 leaving her with no choice but to accept an old man’s advice that she should work for a guy named Bryle. Yana found her way to Brylle's house and there she attested that she will never be a fan of fairy tales! That was because the sudden twist in her life made it clear that the reality she was facing was way more magical, absolutely thrilling, and surprisingly romantic!
I actually already read this years ago back then when face to face is still being held. It was borrowed from a friend. But then I decided to buy an own book and re-read it. It's not that hard to read since most of the language used is Filipino which is my first first language :) I also came up on annotating it in real life and it was fun! I'm hoping my siblings to borrow this book from me just like what I did. I'm wondering where's the volume two? Damn plus the last line from Brylle, "We still have a journey to a happier ending." Got me itchy to read the second book. I also felt some deep connection about Yana and Elyse. Gfs <3
