She’s up a hill with no escape…and four shifters have plans for her. Far from home and stranded in the wilderness, she decides to take a leap—a leap of snow leopards who've claimed her as their mate.
As a blizzard rages outside, passionate fires blaze inside. But when winter’s over, what will she do? Head back to the city or stay on the mountain with the men who want her to be theirs forever?
When it comes to books and movies, Brynn Paulin has one rule: there must be a happy ending. After that one requirement, anything else goes. And it just might in any of her books.
Brynn lives in Michigan, where she likes to spoil her children and dogs—not necessarily in that order. She also loves to cook, travel and spend far too much time on social media. She enjoys mentoring and meeting new people and is always willing to chat. Personally, she finds great pleasure in spending time with her family and dogs, as well as volunteering around her community.
First published in June 2007 by Ellora's Cave, Brynn is the author of over 130 books, including the bestselling Daly Way and Taboo Wishes series.
According to Brynn, her writing success can be attributed to an eclectic collection of music, her local road construction crews, a trusty notebook, and of course, the people in her life who’ve finally accepted that everything is research—or will be.
I love it when there are already established MM pairings that grow to include the F part of the triad. This was a wonderfully fresh take on the reverse harem trope and I enjoyed every moment of it!
I've said it before but it bears (snows? Lol) repeating, Brynn writes fantastic shifter romances!
Macy finds her self trapped in the wilderness with 4 sexy men after a snow storm....she feels drawn to them, but some more than the others, what is going on??
Their village is quaint but with most of the modern conviences...but there is something she is missing, why do they refer to spouses as mates, why does she feel like secrets are being kept?
I thought the chemistry between Macy and Sorin, Danel, Calin and Abel was electrifying. They clearly had some fun....but for some there was a deeper connection, a forever connection and that's what I truly enjoyed.
The thought of one true mate, a fated forever soulmate gets me every time. I loved that in this case it was a forever mated menage.
This is listed as a reverse harem menage and while there is PLENTY of group action I do want to caution that there are M/M couples and M/M physical intimacy. So all of the pleasure is not just for Macy 😉😁
Shifting Snows is book #12 in the Phases Series, written by Brynn Paulin. Sorin and Danel are so hot and I loved them. I loved their relationship and the way they are together and the sex is hot, but not enough. Macy is their female mate, but I found her annoying. Actually, everything about is annoyed me and I wanted the wolves to eat her so the snow leopards could be alone and get it on. I know, the story is supposed to be a menage between 4 guys and 1 girl and then 2 guys and 1 girl, but honestly, the story would have been better without the girl. :)
This is another well written short story from Paulin. With a quick-paced plot, solid characters all wrapped up in scorching hot sex scenes and a sweet HEA, Shifting Snows is a deliciously indulgent read. And I’m hoping there are plans to write more about the shifters in Tavian Leap.

"This was her husband. She looked over her shoulder and Danel kissed her. This was her husband too. Her protectors, her lovers, her men, her shifting snows. No one had ever been luckier, and as the three of them spiraled into release, she was sure, no one had ever been happier or as much in love as she was right now. And she’d only had to climb a mountain to get there."
