Oh dear - disappointed much!!

I thought the premise was interesting but the execution was awful - boring, mechanical and ultimately unemotional.

This is my first and last book by this writer. I could not like the heroine Alana, and thought the hero Michael, who seemed a much more interesting character, was altogether wasting his time with her.

Alana was simply unpleasant and I had no sense of why anyone would want to spend time with her. I didn’t care about her and lost interest in her very quickly.

The sex scenes were mechanical and repetitive and about as erotic as reading a set of instructions to build a bookcase. I had absolutely no sense of any kind of sensual or romantic pull between them.

The book may have been set in Las Vegas and Cancun but there was no sense of location here.

I like so many of the Dare writers: Jackie Ashenden, Caitlin Crews and April Tremayne being just 3 - and I’m afraid this book failed abysmally to reach their standard of fabulously entertaining reads.

Sorry, I usually try hard to avoid being too critical, as I know the writer will have worked hard, but this was so disappointing that I have to be honest.
It’s one of the few books that I consider was a waste of my my time and my cash!

Festive fling

Alana is a very confident and very competent female. She manages the hottest $ex club in Vegas, and is the epitome of a female alpha. She’s very much used to taking charge in both her personal and professional lives… until she’s challenged by Michael. He’s the hot British guy her partners hire as a consultant.

Suddenly she feels like she’s losing control. And she definitely does NOT like that! Well, not at first anyway ;) How much control is she willing to relinquish?

Their attraction is undeniable, and their chemistry is off-the-charts hot. They work hard and they play hard – and fast! Could this holiday fling result in more for them?

This was my first read from this author, and I will definitely be going back for more! It was fast and furious, but in a good way ;)

Ah, Alana! At last! I have been so eager for Alana's story from the very beginning of this series and it did not disappoint. She's feisty, she's empowered and she knows just what she wants...well, until she meets Michael that is and the sparks fly out of her trusty control.

I loved the vulnerability behind Alana's surface, I loved how relatable she was. She wasn't invincable, she suffered the effects of over-working like the rest of us, and I loved how Michael made her realise this, how he helped her let go of some control to enjoy life to the full.

And as for Michael, wow, what a hero! He was definitely her perfect match and I really found myself rooting for their HEA.

A fabulous end to a fabulously hot series!

I love Michael. He is open and honest and slightly broken. I like his attitude, his cockiness and his swagger. He is sexy and he is sweet sometimes and he knows what he wants and he goes after it. I like the small town feel of large "family" of friends. I love the setting, which is unique and interesting. I like Alana because she is strong and independent and obviously knows what she wants and does not let anyone stand in her way. I do not love Alana. She is a little too brittle and a little to off putting. But overall this is a very good story.

Thank you to Booksprout and the offer for a review copy of A Sinful Little Christmas. This is my honest review.

This book is the 5th book of a series called “Sin City, Brotherhood”. And having followed the series I was Not disappointed. Alana is a woman on top of her game, one of the men of her group. A ball buster who is afraid to give up her much worked for control on life... until Michael. Hot, steamy “relationship” turns to love and happy ending where she truly ends with having it all. Highly recommend the full collection of 5 books but it also stands alone... J.Margot Critch is a very talented lady! Can’t wait for her next set of books!! 😍

Loved this fun, hot Christmas romance with a super-sweet hero and a heroine who needs control. Actually, they both like control, both in and out of the bedroom, but Alana is Michael’s boss...
They just can’t help themselves, first at work, then on a Christmas getaway to Cancun, then back in Los Vegas again. But as things heat up between Alana and Michael, the battle of wills becomes a battle of the heart, and both have more and more to lose.

Book five and the steamy finale to the Sin City Brotherhood series. This is Alana Carter and British consultant Michael Paul's story. A woman who does not know how to let go of her control long enough to let love in. I enjoyed reading this story, and sad to see this series end. Michael and Alana are both strong controlling characters. I am glad that in the end they are both able to realize they can be great together if they give a little.

Fun, hot, fulfils the Dare promise.

This is a satisfying end to this series, and one I've been waiting for - Alana's story. It lived up to my expectations, and her hero really deserved her.

First, on the neon pink cover we get this beautiful picture of Michael. Okay, stop drooling. We finally reach Alana’s story. Alana is a take charge person who does not want to give up control and it causes her a lot of problems. Enter Michael, much to her dismay, who also likes to be in control but is willing to give a little. Their each being dominate at work does not do well for their relationship. I love that in their relationship they finally realize that they could compliment each other and not get lost. This series of friends and their relationships works really well and are easy reads.
