The Interaction of Complexity and Management
What is complexity science? What is management? And how are the two linked? One of he first hardcore books I read about complexity. It contains 29 independent essays by various complexity specialists. The strength of this approach is that it shows the the big picture about the various thoughts and challenges going on in this emergent area. The drawback for me is that it is takes a bit of work to grasp each writers point of view, and there are so many of them...
Kept me interested and reading though, just until the last few articles that I pretty much skipped because I felt they were to research-internal, about how to continue to advance the field.
