Damn Christine knows her aromatherapy. This book is short, reference-able and to the point. The only book you’ll ever need on essential oils and aromatherapy!
Great introduction to the therapeutic properties of essential oils and the safe use of them....I just found the way it was set up as a reference a little confusing and not as reader friendly as I'd have liked, lots of cross referencing. That said, it was clear the author wanted to emphasise the different psychological and physical ailments aromatherapy can help treat, and she had these in separate sections. I'm just more of a one-stop-shop customer....also, it was written nearly 25 years ago so I guess readers needs might have been different back then :)
I have also bought Aromatherapy A-Z which is far more comprehensive and am looking forward to seeing how that compares.
For £1.99 this is a great start to your aromatherapy education and certainly helps you get started on the basics.
I am doubt there is really anything to aromatherapy as anything significant for health, but I like the smells and they do seem to effect me in the intended ways. Rosemary does spruce me up, and clary sage makes my sleepy and relaxed.
