*This is one of the #SPFBO books I had in my batch this year*

This is the story of a gamer called Kyran who is sucked into the world of the God's Game and Mylad. The world he enters is fully unlike Earth and resembles a video game far more than reality. He's given items and inventory, tasked with levelling up, and even quests to complete along the way. His adventures could lead to something very different for the realm of Mylad as he's a 'free agent' and not allied with any of the Gods. He could be a game-changer...

What I found whilst reading this is that the start didn't get going for me for a little while, however, ultimately I really enjoyed it. This book has many of the LitRPG qualities I have previously enjoyed, and the character develops as we go with skills and sense. I definitely enjoyed the slow progress, and felt it was a believable pacing, however I think the beginning could have had a bit more to initially hook you in.

Kyran is a character who I found it easy to enjoy as he's clearly lost in the world like the reader. As he learns we learn and it's clear he has a destiny of some great description ahead, but even though that's true the paths his story took were a little different and not always what I thought.

I have to say I'm curious to find out more about the world and I did check to see if book #2 was out yet as I wanted to continue, but it's not quite ready yet. However, I do believe this will be a series I'd happily continue with, and although I don't think it's for everyone because of the gaming undertones, I enjoyed it.

There were a very few small typos/grammatical issues, but generally this was a well put together story and plot and I gave it 3.75*s so 7.5*s overall for #SPFBO.

This is the same exact book as Crota. What is up with that? I was disappointed big time. What a letdown.

Solid base that needs much improvement.

This is a story told too soon. The character is not fully formed and his actions reflect that. The same is true of the world mechanics. More thought should go into this to balance the story with the actions taken by the characters. There is a good story here, it just needs some help being told.

Pretty good read.

This was easy to read with interesting world building and with a good storyline. Character building was better than average. Overall a pretty good read.

Chronicles of Myeland or God’s name?

Absolutely love this book but why is same book already on Amazon under different name? Crota book 1 and Labyrinth book 2 ? It is without doubt same book only difference is Free agent is shorter than Crota and there is less stats. Not sure if is it remake or author tried write one as a Litrpg and second one as classic sword&magic fantasy? Still well worth read it if you have Kindle unlimited! Enjoy!

Rebranding Of the God’s Game

I really enjoy reading this story the first time. It’s about a guy going to a gods game world where none of the gods choose him as their Champion so he has same powers as one yet he is a free agent. Now they want him or deny him to any other gods. Great Story
