Just when you thought it couldn't get any more tense it turns out that even dead you're not safe. though the ghost lands were part of the series from the beginning, going deeper into them made this feel like more of a fantasy book (which I loved)

This was a great series that was sadly cancelled after only four books. It is a horror series about Crinos ( bipedal, Wolf-headed ) Werewolves who live among Humans so that they may prey on them.
