I love a strong female lead, and Allie is definitely that. I picked up the book and read it in one sitting....I couldn't put it down! I went through all the emotions - from happy and smiling to frowning and angry. Definitely a good read

One thing’s for sure. The title of this book is right on…. it’s one big Power Play. Allie has to fight the odds from the beginning to the end. And she’s like a mama bear protecting her cub. She sets up her perimeter and dares you to cross. To do so is at your own risk. She learns just how to play the game and come out strong, powerful and make the play…. the game winning shot, so to speak.

Watching Allie take on her saboteurs is satisfying. She took the game winning shot and her opponents never saw it coming. Her enemies thought they had her in a choke hold but not so fast….. I said they THOUGHT….. that was their mistake.

Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

👁OBSERVATIONS:

… Allie has gotten herself in a precarious predicament. By not tackling the problem of her and Will when Eddie was alive, she made a grave mistake. It’s one that is costing her personally, financially, emotionally and impacting the team.

… Tiffany is in for a rude awakening one of these days. She can’t be that clueless to not know her husband is a cheat…. in more ways than one.

… Will’s dad needs to grasp that he’s literally ki11ing Jason. . He’s not just an enabler but in total denial about his role in Jason’s lifestyle. He also needs for someone, some thing, to open his eyes and let him see how he favors Jason, the weak and addicted son, over Will, the son who chooses to not just win but thrive.

😦DISLIKES:

I’m never a fan of validating bad choices. The new coach and GM both supported Allie’s lying by telling her their own sordid choices…. not mistakes, but choices. Reaping what is sowed is a fact. Forgiveness comes when we own up to those choices, not justify them.

Allie and Will are back! I received an ARC for the purpose of review after reading On The Rebound, book 1. I love how the story continues. The secrecy of Will and Allie's relationship has never been more vital, and the barriers between the two have just gotten stronger. Their romance is as hot as ever regardless of the obstacles. This is a fantastic continuation of their story, and yes another book will be on the way! This author is a strong 10/10 recommend.

Allie is an amazing main character! She’s so strong and determination and fresh! Will is in more relaxed and is that dream guy with a determination to do right by the girl he loves! It’s brilliant and I loved it

Read on Radish under My Icy Hot Rebound. I felt so angry and sad for Allie. Will’s support is amazing and I want Italian for dinner so badly. Great story despite the awful secondary characters’ manipulations.
