I really likied this book and my son did too, who is studying 3d shapes at school. It is rare to get a kids book about 3d shapes, but this book was clever in that it was able to relate it, surprisingly to animals. The pictures were fun and the animals chosen were interesting but fairly identifiable by my son (chameleon became 'lizard' ... and some type of bug with wings which I cant remember the name of became 'bug').
This is a great book for very early readers because it gives you the opportunity to predict with colors and shapes. Very few words with bold colorful pictures made this a favorite with my own daughters growing up.
Wonderful book to teach 2D and 3D shapes. My 4 1/2 yr old could not wait to lift the flaps revealing the animal behind the shape. Beautiful illustrations
What a great interactive and hands-on colors, shapes, and animals book! The author is very creative and this book is cute the catch the attention of both little ones and adolescents!
