How am I supposed to recover from the emotional napalm of discovering nothing I thought I knew about my family was real?
The dumpster fire known as my life — which includes my relationships, friendships, and academic career — is out of control and I can’t seem to stop the devastation.

On one hand, I’m trying to hold everything together but on the other, I’m willfully stomping on the gas for total self-destruction.

Four people make Twin Falls bearable but I can feel them slipping away.

My heart is broken. Nothing feels right. I’m treading water but the water is dark and deep.

Change is coming.

No matter how hard I fight…there’s nothing I can do to stop it.

DEVASTATE ME is part of a four-book series that concludes the Twin Falls series. The books are: RUIN ME, SHATTER ME, WRECK ME, DEVASTATE ME. Contains foul language and mature themes. Enjoy!

I Received This ARC from BookSprout for an Honest Review.
I Give this book a 1/5 Star Rating.

The Cliffhanger from the previous book was a jaw dropping twist that was very interesting and made the reader want to jump right into the next book as soon as it became available. But I gotta be honest, I was let down at how it was easily resolved. It felt like it was fixed so it wouldn’t freak the readers out who only read certain type of genres, just because of a lite shock twist.
*Not saying that’s what happened, I’m just saying that’s how ‘I’ took it.

The Spotlight seemed to focused a bit more on a side character Georgia and is pretty much narrated from Gypsy’s POV, so the actual main characters ended being the side characters in this read.
This Should’ve been Gypsy’s Series but in the end throughout the Series Georgia Became the Main Character, and Gypsy pretty much becomes the narrator of Georgia’s Story.

*My Reaction to several areas in the book: “Seriously what happened to Girl Code?!!”

Gypsy’s ‘story’ in the end became discarded and she was given a HEA that just felt blahh.

I will not be making a full rating list for this book.

HEA(?): Sure
Romance: 1/5
Heat: 0/5

Over the past 4 books, the personalities kept changing too much that in the end the characters are not the characters you start off the series with.

A little disappointed

SPOILER

I read this because I love RH but in the end this is not. I don't like books that are a love triangle and this was one in a way. Also, not a fan of the self righteous attitude of Gypsy. Quick to judge and correct others yet she was rude and not fair to the boys. Maybe I am letting the fact it didn't turn out to be a RH like it says effect my feelings, but I am disappointed in this final book.

Disappointing. This started as a single romance, moved to an RH (which I thought was the genre) and then finished as a single romance. This series is a love square not a RH.

Book 4 could have been eliminated since it was more Georgia and .

The writing was mediocre. In the bio, it said that the co-author, Arlo, graduated from Northwestern with a degree in writing. I felt that some of the verbiage felt awkward, while other parts of the book had too much inner dialogue. Maybe the authors just needed a professional editor. I may read these authors separately. They may not work good together. I think I just can't get over that ending and how pathetic the heroes were even in book 4. So disappointed in Gypsy.

After finishing book 4, the three guys felt more like Gypsy's BFFs, than her love interests. The guy Gypsy picked...I never felt he cared for her as much as he cared for himself. He never invested too much time on what was going on in her life.

Book 4 felt like Georgia's story who I did not care for to begin with.
This book is not a RH. None of the heroes really fought for Gypsy. She was left on her own even in book 4. The ending was very weak and rushed.

skim throughout the book

I was not too fond of the storyline; it lost its appeal throughout the series. The writing did not hold the reader's attention. The storyline was childish. It was tedious to read. Satiating my curiosity was the only reason for my reading. I was not too fond of the female character; she was such a loser. Being sassy does not mean being strong, but she is a weak and hypocritical character. It started when she realized she liked three boys, but then she hid her relationship, and when it surfaced, she blamed the boys. Her drama was so foundationless and nonsense. I do not favor RH, but the story did not hold to the book's title. Gypse, could not handle herself; she constantly was having a meltdown; she was whiney and had too much repetitiveness in the storyline about her and being ashamed of her feelings for the three boys.
To make matters worse, she ends up having a love interest for only one guy, and instead of being honest when her feelings have changed, she holds off. I was more fond of the boy's characters. They appeared more sincere in the storyline. I am not interested in the author's writing. Therefore not reading any books from this author.

Perfect ending to this part of Gypsy's life journey
I don't know how they did it but Arlo and Angel found a way to close out this chapter in Gypsy's life in a makes sense kind of way. The emotions felt honest. Teens are angsty, end of the world complainers. I know this because I have 2 at home and an early 20 yr old that still portrays some of those traits. It was interesting to see how issues/conflicts were handled. There were times I laughed and times I teared up during this journey. I am curious if the authors ever thought about the future for these characters. My imagination takes over when I read and when the stories over I can't help thinking how their futures faired. Great story that I'm glad I had the opportunity to read.

DNF! This was supposed to be RH and they nose dived the hell out of it. I couldn’t even get half way through. Don’t waste your time if you’re expecting RH. So much potential wasted in such epic fashion. They didn’t even do it well. It really felt as if Gypsy became background to to the “actual” love story of book 4 which came completely out of left field. Like guy hadn’t been jerking off to Gypsy all year and then on a dime he’s all about someone else? Palease! So sloppy and really a cop out way to end a story. It goes without say that a poly relationship would take work and the authors put zero effort into showing that a poly relationship could work in this type of situation. It absolutely could have!

If I could sum this up it would be just WOW. I have no words. It's devastating but sexy and all kinds of frustrating. You have to understand that the characters are teens so many aspects where I would be frustrated, it would make sense as to why they reacted and behaved that way. But the ending seems fitting and now I wish I could get a glimpse into their future.

Devastate Me is the final book in the Twin Falls series and although I wasn't sure how I felt with the way Gypsy's story ended, she did get an HEA just not the one I thought she would have. Overall a good read filled with teenage drama, angst, and an unexpected ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Ok so I loved this series and another because I love RH books but this one just didn’t settle me like why say it’s RH if it don’t end HEA with all of them. Don’t get me wrong it was good but could have been better ending. Also ps I kinda was tired of her best friend thru the hole series. Other than that good series but it is not a RH just some friends with benefits and ending with one.

Great story!!!!

I read all four books in 2 days...wonderful storyline. It kept me glued to the story. These books show that things happen for a reason. It shows you can't just ignore the issues.

I think the book was good, but I was slightly disappointed how it ended (who went with who), BUT it was refreshing to see an RH resolve.

This series was good, but it could have been better. The ending and choosing only one guy left me disappointed.
