Everyone is faking it on Instagram.

Avery Stone has a goal – get to 5 million Instagram followers in the next two months. His plans for the future beyond being an Instagram model depend on a big sponsorship that he can only get if he crosses that threshold.

Photographer Victor Nilsson is tired of faking it – faking patience when a client is rude, shooting fake people in fake locations with fake smiles. He wants to feel something real in this world of forced perfection before social media culture consumes him.

When Avery comes to him with an offer benefitting them both, Victor can’t refuse even if pretending to be in a relationship with Avery is the last thing he wants to do.

Can Avery and Victor discover something real buried underneath all the fake?

Teodora Kostova writes romance where every heartbeat matters. She’s an award-winning, bestselling author, a linguist fluent in four languages, and a Creative Writing graduate with a weakness for broken characters who kiss slow and love loudly. I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary story set in London and Bali. Avery is obsessed with his instagram. Victor is a photographer. This is a short novella, fake boyfriends to lovers. I’ll read more from this author.

Great, quick read.

Very insightful story about love in the IG age, with the good & bad of social media showcased as the plot driving the whole story. Both Avery & Victor are great, likable characters. Their relationship build was very realistic. I was hooked & rooting for them from the beginning.

Great read

This is a very great read, with a great ending. Both of the main characters are well done. I am unable to do this read the justice that it deserves. Please give it a read.
