I've been of fan of Nakamura's since the delightfully insane Tokyo Crazy Paradise series and while Skip Beat may not have the charm of its predecessor, it has been very fun to follow Kyoko and Ren's adventures. Admittedly, I always hope we have more scenes of main characters and less of the show biz side just because I enjoy the romance aspects more. All the same, the real heart of Nakamura's series are the laugh-out-loud humor scenes - and there are plenty in this volume.
