Mia Sanchez is a school counselor haunted by the loss of a student. The pain forcing her to leave her job and city in search of a new start. A small town sounded like a good idea.
However, Mia didn't count on meeting Nikki Reed, Greenville High School's Softball Coach. Butting heads every step of the way. The women have to work together to help save the life of a student.
Will Mia be able to overlook the past and learn to trust again?

I'm an author from New Jersey. I'm 37 and married to a wonderful woman for 12 years. We have a handsome baby boy and one furbaby. I love all books, mostly Romance. I just love the journey.
I am a 911 dispatcher, firefighter and police officer. I am busy all the time and work way too much. I love to write, paint, glass etch, pyrography, draw, sing, work on cars, landscape, play sports.
Honestly I never really chose a profession because I want to be everything.
A good book - not suttle - plot twists signposted early in huge font and in neon - and at times I lost the thought process - said one thing, did another so it was confusing. But worth a read.
Beautifully Hilarious! This book drew me in from the beginning. I cried and laughed. I begged Nikki and Mia to stop being stupid. Yelled "Stupid Sam" repeatedly. I was completely absorbed. Love It. Can't wait for Mayler to write another.
Usually I'm not a fan of traditional love stories, but I enjoyed this story. The book started a little slow with character introductions, but it did not last long. Very cute and complicated love story between two woman who can't get enough of one another. In it they are faced with loss, love, and trust issues. As the characters develop they encounter some pretty horrific events and even more horrific ones are brought to the surface that the characters need to overcome. This book is simply learning to trust again through love and loss. I'm proud to say I know the author personally and believe she did a very good job with this plot.
