Snowbound Siren is a steamy, snowed-in novella with a curvy girl heroine set in the billionaire hero's Montana mansion over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It's a stand-alone romantic comedy in the Thirsty Hearts universe.
Kris Jayne is a devoted writer, reader, and traveler who crafts steamy contemporary romances with heat and heart. She spends her days blissfully sweating out the writing process in the Dallas area with her dogs, Otis the Shih Tzu, Rocco the Terrier, and Red the Foxy Mutt.
Her passion for writing is matched only by her passion for the adventures of travel. In 2008, she let a friend talk her into sleeping outside for the first time in her life when she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
P.S. If you're buying her a gift, she has a penchant for single-malt Scotch and scarves.
Savannah is in Montana, for her stepsister, Michelle’s wedding. A change from Seattle, she didn’t know how much, until they rolled on up to the driveway of the mansion they, are staying in that belongs to the cousin of the groom, Steve. It belongs to the owner of SoulM8 an online dating service, Ian. He I s having work issues, is what they are all told, that is why he can’t attend.
Once the wedding was over, and all guest left, Savannah decides she wants to decompress from the wedding treating herself to a couple of spa. Days to ponder her next move, as to what she might do, about leaving her job. She however knows she needs to put up with the horrible working conditions until March for their sizable bonus.
After almost losing control of the car, on black ice, on the way to the airport, she checks the weather app. She knows turning around is her safest avenue. Returning to the hotel, she finds out there is no room at the inn. Every place else is booked too. All she can think to do is head back, and see if George the caretaker can have mercy on her allow her to stay until the storm let’s up.
But, when she arrives it is the standoffish, Ian himself. He is gruff, and stern looking. Will he be gracious enough to allow her to stay, or will he send her packing even under these conditions? Predictable maybe, but it is a short, sweet, hot instant-love.
Had been on my TBR list for awhile. But was free on Amazon at the time.
Kris Jayne has written a 5-star book that was an interesting read. It has the main male character going through some things from his past. Savannah was at her step-sister's wedding and she decided to stay a few days extra. On the day she was to leave a snow Strom comes in and her flight is canceled. She has already checked out of her hotel and now there are no rooms left. She goes back up to Ian's house hoping to catch George to see if she can stay there. When she gets there, it is not George who answers the door but Ian. There is an instant attraction between them but Ian is not happy about her being there. They get together and things are going good with them until Ian gets a call from his ex-fiancee. He goes to find Savannah, he goes to her room and sees a book and he gets mad and takes things out on Savannah. they say things to each other that hurt. After the fight, Savannah leaves and goes to the airport to wait on her flight. Savannah gets a page and goes to the customer service desk where she is told she has a call. It is Ian, he tells her he would like to talk. Will Savannah give Ian a cheanc to explain or will she go home as planned? Can Ian get the chance he wants with Savannah or will he be left alone? This was a wonderful read and I would recommend it to anyone.
Another awesome book by this author. I read this in one sitting.

I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.
I’m not fond of driving in snowy weather either, but at least Savannah was snowed in with a hunky tech billionaire...who turned out to be a softy to a 3 year old. His ex was cold for what she did but karma came out to play with her. Another great story that probably would have gotten 5 stars if not for grammatical errors throughout the book. Is this the end of their story?? I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked this book, but I didn't love it. It was good but predictable. Also, the holiday of thanksgiving seems irrelevant since it was barely mentioned (it is mentioned in the book description). I wish the story was longer and had more in it. Such as more to the story. The writing and chemistry between the characters. Still a good read!
Billionaire Ian Hart has always worked on finding love for others with his app but a snow storm will cause Savannah to be stuck with him. Will sparks and romance fly off the pages in a fairy tale or smolder before it even starts?
I enjoyed Ian & Savannah's story. Good characters. Lots of chemistry. This was a hot, quick read. I received an Advanced Reviewers Copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Now this was fun. I loved the snowman thing. Made me like Ian more and easier to forgive him his moment of stupidity. But then, trust is hard especially when it’s been broken before.
