My name is Lilly Lemon and my life has always come in threes.
I was born the third day of the third month as the youngest of three daughters. I didn't speak until I was three years old, but I observed and remembered everything I saw and heard.
My parents didn't have much money left for my college education, so I spent three years working three jobs to save enough to attend my dream school.
I had epic plans, but by the third class of my first day, I'd already had three massive embarrassments. Things weren't looking great for me until something very strange happened, and I ended up in a magic world quite unlike our own.
Whereas before I had been strikingly ordinary, in this strange new world I was strong, mighty, powerful... I was a queen!
But dark magic was destroying my people and a new ruler was rising, making false promises and putting everyone in danger.
Now, I will have to conquer the dreaded dungeon to save my people.
But I don't have to venture forth alone.
There are three who seek to ally with me and help me save the world.
A destined warrior bound to me.
An alpha wolf mated to me.
And a dark fae fated to me.

The Devious King is about to fall.
And a new Queen is rising from the dungeons to save us all.
Me. I'm the new queen. Fyi.

Well, the Greek gods didn't just stop existing. This is the story you never knew you wanted to know! A fantastically written story. This book is RH (reverse harem). We have a female lead, Lily, and her three men. I would consider this a simmering, medium burn RH. The tension is there with all of her beaus. However, she does not jump into bed with any/everyone by the third chapter. In this book there is only F/M interaction (no M/M). Lily is young, but she is in no way your typical young FMC. She isn't struggling and in need of saving. She hasn't been abused. She comes from a middle (maybe lower middle) class family. She has a Mom, Dad and 2 sisters. She has snark and wit for days. She is certainly not lacking in confidence but not arrogant. Her journey is an amazing one. There are twists and turns and a unique take on the gods themselves. Like I said, just because we call it ancient Greek mythology, doesn't mean they stopped existing. Grab this book and catch up on what's been happening on Mt. Olympus and the lands surrounding it. You won't be disappointed. I wouldn't call the ending a cliff hanger...the current storyline has come full circle and the lead in to the next great adventure is given. This is a series with the next book scheduled for March 2020. This is a story of righting a wrong, good triumphing and finding love. I can't wait for the next book!

The book was promising at first and then everything went down the drain. Backdrop and potential of the plot is very good but the words didn't draw you are nlin. Lily was born in a middle class family and she moves to the university to pursue her dream. Alas, she ends up in the Olympic mountain literally with the Olympians. There she collects her harem I mean the men were gifted for her. Then they're off to her queendom of dungeons. Everything is just moves from point A to Z no middle ground. I mean though it's a fantasy there should be some credibility. As a reverse harem there should be equal measure of attraction and feelings toward the guys but the author just used them as accessories not people since we literally don't know anything about these characters we cannot get attached to them even Hailey's character was better than the guys. A disaster and the villain character was totally a weasel which is a shame. I was sorely disappointed .

Holy Greek Pantheon!! I couldn’t put this down and had to finish it the day I started it!
Once again, Karpov Kinrade has created a work of art. If you’ve read either the Vampire Girl series or about The Dark Templars, you are really going to love how Dungeon Queen unfolds. If you haven’t read any of Karpov Kinrade’s works, this is definitely as great a place as any to start an addiction for more from that imagination.
We meet Lily Lemon, the youngest of three sisters, on her way off to start her life at school majoring in what she loves most – the classics… unusually drawn to the stories of Greek Gods and Goddesses that seem almost familiar to her. Twists and turns abound – lo and behold – she’s not who she thinks she is. What starts with hope for the future and what seems like a freak event leaves Lily reeling with grief and a massively complicated situation on her hands that she’s initially not sure she’s ready for; however, she not only rises, she rules the story with compassion and a moral compass that is greatly lacking in her “peers” winning over her kingdom with feats of bravery tempered with kindness.
At the climax, we see her triumph and what seems like the beginning of hope and promise for everyone around her starting with her, but it would it really be a Karpov Kinrade work without another twist ending leaving you wanting to know WHAT HAPPENS NEXT????
Not to worry, though. The sequel, Warrior Queen, is already on the horizon and up for presale. So, you won’t have to wait that long to find out what happens in what is sure to continue to be a page turning series rife with myth and lore, spun into fantasy, and served up with a heavy dose of seriously hot RH action.

Lily is at the beginning of the rest of her life. College is starting, new friendships spark then everything comes crashing down around her.

When she opens her eyes things aren't as she remembers. Her new life and new hurdles await her. When she meets Ladron, Mirk and Torak her life begins again.

This book is skillfully written, obviously well researched and it pulls you in a with its depth of character. This author duo is masterful and will be a force to reckoned with.

Don't read this book off you're looking for tidy, clean endings. You'll be in for a letdown because this book has you gripping to hold on, and holding your breath for the next book to come out.

Fantastic job ladies! Bravo!

I was drawn in by this cover immediately and wanted to read this book ASAP, and I'm so glad I did! I've been on a bit of a Greek binge lately (with gaming anyway!) and this book was something extra I didn't know I needed. A lot of love and research has gone into this story and it really shows. It's written beautifully. And the twists! Don't get me started on the twists. And the foreshadowing is utter perfection!
I got so many chills, especially at the end.
Looking forward to reading the sequel!

A nice take on Greek mythology, if not a little too fast. Three guys, one girl that adapts way too fast. Ends on a cliffhanger but not a surprising one. Plenty of violence, sexism, an a hole that needs to be squished and monsters.

Unexpected

I thought this would be a story loosely based on mythology. It was a lit more than that! Most excellent.

Dungeon Queen gets one star extra just for that plot potential otherwise there is just too much happening that's drastically reducing the rating.

I love me some Greek gods drama; been obsessed since summer 2014 to be exact. I was more than ready to get that in a reverse harem book and the cover has this Kill Bill kickass Bride vibes that creates certain expectations for the whole queen thing talked about in the blurb. Having said all that, I was quickly disappointed when the story takes off itself. The initial chapters don't spend time really introducing the FMC if we are to forget the world building aspect for a sec. The weird back and forth of present cluelessness to the casual college scenes that lead upto the present were more irritating with the surface level efforts in those past scenes, I mean the way she ends up in this "magic world" was so underwhelming in itself.

I was waiting for the book to finally stop slacking once we were in the present timeline and yet all these things I was wanting to see were very surface level, like yes there are Greek gods and there are interactive scenes with those said Gods but am I get those details or sharpness in dialogue to feel that impact of those scenes? No.

For characters, let's start with Lily Lemon herself, I expected this chick to be badass. It's not like she doesn't give her weird lemon life lessons enough to think she is one of those kickass typecast FMC. Leaving a few scenes, I don't see her being so active and it kinda mutes the wow factor for scenes where she is active. The three harem members are so underwhelming, like one is Hermes and dude, I did not think I would be feeling this indifferent reading about Greek gods LI. Their relationship development with Lily is just hollow, it's just too lacklustre for whatever lusting crap is taking place.

Again, I could endure everything because I was chasing the scraps of plot that was interesting, it had so much potential with the whole Dungeon territory and mysterious monsters struggles but man the tiny book just doesn't showcase enough world building and finer details to really use this plot to the extend it could have reached.

The story and world had a lot of potential, but the execution and weak character building didn't do the story justice. The book was rushed and disappointing.
The characters were unbelievable (Lily accepts dying and being a goddess in a few chapters and the Harem was boring I forgot their names, and they were not distinguishable with zero chemistry.

All Lily Lemon has wanted is to follow her dreams. To become everything she's ever thought of being and more. Her life, however, soon takes an unexpected turn. Determined to make sense of what she cannot understand, she dives head-first into the secrets that now surround her. If she's too succeed in rising above the rest of the gods, she'll need to mold the world that's now become hers to her liking. Only then will she gain the wisdom and true understanding that eludes her at every turn.

An awesome start to such an immersive series, Dungeon Queen delivers in more ways than one. We're presented with a character anyone can relate to. A character that wants to fit in within the world she lives in. Lily is a young woman with hopes and dreams. She yearns to make something of herself when the times comes. All her aspirations are wiped out in the blink of an eye, however.

Authors, Karpov Kinrade and Liv Chatham, have taken the usual Greek god lores and shaped them in such a way that keeps the reader glued to every page. They've given these characters original beginnings, though they're also tied to each individual pantheon. Each of these characters are forces to be reckoned with.

When I first opened the book, I thought I'd be diving into a LitRPG story. This book, however, is true Greek mythology and fantasy mixed with reverse harem ties. What else the authors have in store for us remains to be seen. Nevertheless, I look forward to what's to come.

Bring it on!

I Need More Books Like This

I really love Karpov Kinrade’s work and have never once been disappointed and the Liv Chatman team up is a good one. The authors work brilliantly together to create a fantastical reading experience for their readers.

As soon as this book was announced, it was a no brainer that I had to get my hands on this book ASAP. Greek Mythology is my absolute favorite and there aren’t enough books that take place in this genres in my opinion. Then a RH on top of that - YES PLEASE!

Lily Lemon is a regular girl embarking on her college experience. Things start going wrong for her pretty quickly and things go even worse when she dies.

However she awakens as a reincarnated goddess whose identity is a question at this point. She has to navigate the patriarchy world that Zeus is clinging to, thwarting her killer, three very hot guys that are now in her harem, and a desolate kingdom she has been given while still trying to figure out who she is. Oh and on top of that - monsters are escaping her dungeons and wreaking havoc and she has to figure out how to reseal the dungeons.

However Lily Lemon is no damsel in distress and she quickly makes lemonade out of her problem while facing them head on. Not only is she intelligent, caring, resourceful but she also kicks some major ass.

Oh and of course not everything is what it seems. So be prepared for twist and turns and you will be itching for book 2 before you are even done with the first.

Lily spent most of her life knowing just who she was and what she wanted. A driven, focused young woman who graduated early and worked three jobs so she could go to school and study her passion – Greek Myths – she just doesn’t expect how in depth of a study she’s about to get.

This book is great – a reverse harem style book (although even it that’s not your thing it’s ok it’s not the prevalent theme) set in a world where the gods and goddesses of Olympus are still alive and, well, I guess it depends on your definition of thriving…

Karpov Kinrade continues their masterful ability to tug at your heartstrings and make your spirit soar into a world you can’t help but wish you could truly be a part of – with friend and foe, adventure, power, intrigue and an ending that always leaves you wanting more (even when it’s NOT a cliffhanger).

Part one of a wonderful new series that promises to be just as amazing as we’ve come to expect from this brilliant duo will leave you as impatient as ever for book two with a twist most would never see coming.

As it is the first in a series it can seem slow to start (especially if you’ve read their works before and know just how wild of a ride they’ll eventually take us on) but don’t worry – it picks up around chapter 2 😉

This is a must read book especially if you love greek mythology.

This is a really interesting take on greek mythology stories and I find the concept for this fascinating. This is the first book in the series and most of it focusses on the reincarnation side and Lily being torn between her human past life and her coming to grips with her goddess life. I did have my suspicions on her god identity and was pleased to have it confirmed at the end.
I love the world the authors have created with this and love the true concept of the dungeon.
Regarding the other characters, most of the gods like Zeus, Poseidon and Hades are how you would expect and like that there references to so many of the lesser known gods. Clay is an egotisical greedy adversary that I look forward to seeing getting destroyed by Lily.
Mirk, Ladron and Torak are definately mates you want at your back and was shocked at Ladrons true identity. Looking forward to seeing more about Mirk as I feel there is more of a mystery there.

Cant wait for the next book to come out, need to find out what happens next.

Man I read this book earlier today and still trying to find the words to describe how much I loved this book. Fantasy is always my favorite genre when reading, but history has my heart. This book combines both to where you feel like it's real. I felt like everything Lily went through I understood. They have a way of writing that makes you feel what she is feeling. Like she is a God but I could feel her feelings. That takes amazing writing
Now the story is so spectacular. The way they can to back and forth between her memories and the present is seamless. Then you add her 3 harem members and wow. How her feelings for each are explained without it sounding like just I want to sleep with them all, is something I really appreciate.
Now I could not put this story down when I picked it up. There were parts that really suprised me and some I saw coming. But despite all that, I can say that I absolutely loved this story. The characters feel so real and rounded and the world amazing. I cant wait for book 2.

I’ve never read a book by KK I didn’t love and thank every goddess in this book we aren’t starting now! Usually it worries me when two authors decide to write together since you can tell which authors words are which and it just throws the books off again not the case. Liv Chatham and KK did a fantastic job making it seamless. For KK’s first rh series I really enjoyed it. For those who don’t know KK is known for their world build with that being said the real romance isn’t as big but don’t fret I know it will come in the next installment. Trust me they never disappoint. When you fall you fall hard.

I’ve always been fascinated with Greek Mythology so this was like candy to me. I really loved Lily Lemon. For a 4’9 chick she is everything you want in a character. Loved the guys- did want more of Mirk. The ending wasn’t what I expected at all. Usually I can guess but nope not this one. I can’t wait for Warrior Queen!!!

Lily Lemon is an extraordinarily smart young lady and about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Finally, starting college means being away from her home and close-knit family for the first time ever but the events that unfold take her so much further away than she could have ever imagined.

Determined to make the best of a terrible situation she embarks on a journey to save the people she is bound to rule and ensuring the safety of the family she has left behind all while navigating the very foreign idea that the 3 men along for the ride make up her very own harem.

This is a story filled with beautiful but treacherous Gods and Goddesses, shifters, fae and the monsters known to haunt your nightmares. As already a huge fan of Kaprov Kinrade's many other books I was excited to dive in as soon as I received this. With its many twists and turns, It truly did not disappoint. This epic adventure has only just begun and will leave you wanting so much more!!

This book was better than I expected. The author always has interesting ideas, but I wasn't expecting a lot since it was reverse harem. The nice thing about this was that it was explained right up front and referred to a bunch of times. It felt like there were reasons for everything, not just for the sake of promiscuity (which there was only sex once). It felt natural. The authors' writing is seamless and you can't tell where each author is writing as opposed to the other one. The pace was great. I like the main character, Lilly. She seems like a really good person. A couple characters irritate me, but that's a good thing. We're supposed to not like them. The rest of the characters are interesting as well. The twist at the end was definitely good. I was trying to guess the whole time who Lilly was the reincarnation of and I was wrong. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. I am voluntarily reviewing this book, gifted to me by the author with no obligation.

I wont give too many spoilers away buuuuut you are going to want to block out time to read this new story by these amazing writers!! I loved everything about this and fantasy isn't usually my top genre, but this stole the month's show for me in terms of releases! I love that it is RH and that her men arent all the same supernatural creature. I always like a mixed group, makes is more interesting and adds more layers (like shifters and mating for life - the pool and animalistic tension, then the gods and all the power, and then the fae *Swoooon*). Ok enough from me. Go get this book, you will not be disappointed. In this one, like all of Karpov Kinrade's stories, the story is in the forefront, not the tension/steamy moments between the MC and the guys.

Looooved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dungeon Queen

What a refreshingly unique book! I'm new to these authors and because the blurb mentions Greek mythology and gods I decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did!
A mythology nerd in college gets killed by hellhound after confronting a supposed friend who cheated off her test and framed her then throwing her in front of the hound. They both come back as gods hum revered her pretty much insulted. She's given 3 males for her harem the sons of Hades and Poseidon and Hermes himself. She's given the dungeon as her kingdom.
I love her! Her thinking of her people before herself, her bravery, thoughtfulness hooked me and has me clamoring for more!

I feel like a breath of fresh air….. I have read a few *wink, wink* reverse harem book series and the tension was so intense that I found myself just wanting them to get to the next scene…NOT THIS BOOK!
I felt like the harem part was a subplot to the story and not at the forefront of the book! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the tension but with the main plot of defeating the bay guy I wasn’t trying to race ahead in the book. The Adventure is just so good!
For a young woman finding herself in a realm with no recollection of who she is and trying to find herself while being thrown into the deep end is incredible.
Definitely would recommend this book to my friends who read.

This story will pull you in right from the start and you're sure to burn through the pages!

We get a journey that starts off in our world and then moves to one full of sexy Greek gods, fae, shifters, and all things magical. It was so much fun to read the traditional myths juxtaposed against the authors' ideas of just what these gods and goddesses may have been up to in the times since they roamed our world and shaped our legends. And of course, in the usual Karpov Kinrade fashion, this story has some wonderful plot twists!

I can not wait until book two! I'm so glad it is coming SOON!!

Wonderful start to a new series!!

Dungeon Queen is freaking AMAZEBALLS!! It’s a new take on the Greek gods/goddesses of old and was just friggin brilliant. Lily is a strong, compassionate woman and I know she will do her original self proud (she’s a reincarnation of one of the olds, but which one you may ask.. read to find out!). This book is full of mystery, laughs, betrayal, some kicka$$ action scenes and the sweet beginning of possible love. Loves? Yeah.. loves as this is a RH series hehe.

Cannot wait for the next book! Lily is about to get down to business!

This book was all over.

At about 60% I just started to skim through the book. Even though we start off the book with Lily just having joined uni, this was basically a high school book set in a patheon.

Clay's speech was awkward in the early stage, something that should have brought up Lily's suspicious, but of course it didn't. Then when she finally transitions into her role, there are times her speech is so formal, so old world then that of a 21st century teenager.

Then the ending instead of it being a good surprise, it just made me angry. Will not be going on with the series.

A new adventure!

I was very excited to read this book. The premise sounded really fun and this book did not disappoint. I really like Lily how she rose up against adversity. This is my first reverse harem book and I haven't decided what I think about it yet. This title was also a little more adult than I am used to but there was still plenty of story. If you are a fan of Karpov Kinrade definitely check it out. I can't wait for the next one!

Did not see that coming!

Starts off a little slow and confusing but only for a tiny bit so stick with it. I love when a story can play with your emotions while reading it. I felt outrage on the character’s behalf so many times. Lily is a great new character to follow. Absolutely loved the “Ah-ha!” moment at the end. This is a book you will not want to put down! Looking forward to what happens next.

This is refreshing reworking of Greek Mythology. It is a well written co-author project by two very Great authors. Character development was very well done. Most of all I feel for Lily. I was just as enraged at the antagonist as Lily was. I cannot wait until the the next book. Way to go LUX AND Liv!!! Was I expecting anything different from these two? Nope not at all. They never cease to amaze me.

Greek mythology!!! On a new scale!

Mythology in general has always been a favorite of mine. I love tales of the Greek Gods! Karpov-Kinradeand Liv Chathham had me guessing the mysteries a few times and excited to finally get an answer. Friends who aren't always what they seem? Check. Character build with awesome trials and a strong woman lead? Check. When is the next one here? Warrior Queen, I'm waiting.
