True Walk: A Journey of Faith and Addiction

Rate this book
True Walk is a compilation of poems depicting one man's overwhelming struggle with the disease of alcoholism. Through this struggle, the writer never gives up on his faith in God. It is poignant to read his personal relationship with God and his belief that one day he will join Him in Heaven.

This book is a must read for a greater understanding of the disease of alcoholism. It is not a weakness of character but rather the inability to control the obsession which takes over mind and body.

People suffering from his addiction will be able to see themselves and relate to the poems through their own struggles. Families and friends of an alcoholic will have a greater understanding of the disease and its emotional toll.
