(MMM, political romance, a standalone trilogy set in the world of the Governor Trilogy)

My husband Liam’s a hot, hunky Master, and a US Senator. What’s not to love?

I mean, besides his hot and hunky ex, Ward.

Who’s also Liam’s hall-pass f*ck exception, because I never thought it’d be redeemed.

I feel kind of sorry for the guy. Because my husband has several truckloads of pain to offload on that man, and I have a front-row seat to the festivities.

Beep-beep, motherf*cker.

I absolutely loved book one, it was definitely laying the groundwork for a sexy series. But this one felt like we were being told a story after the fact ??? Idk how to explain it. I want more character development I think. Still gonna finish up the series because I love this authors writing!

Devout Trilogy by Lesli Richardson (Tymber Dalton) is a political based romance that kept me glued to my kindle and had my mind raced about these men when I had to put down the story to do things, like work and sleep. These stories combined to a 4.5 star read for me!
Sacred, Profane and Penance combine to tell an outstanding story of loss, love and a happy that though mist could never imagine for themselves is one perfect for these three men (yes I said three, this is a m/m/m menage and boy does it work)
Liam is a senator, and Daniel is a congressman’s chief of staff when Ward, Liam's "Ghost" from his past appears well things take on a whole new dynamic for Liam and Daniel who were a happily married dom/sub couple. There were a few time I did want to "strangle" Liam but I have to say the author did an amazing job at allowing me to appreciate why he did what he did and Daniel well I adored Daniel, he truly loved Liam all of him not just the pretty shiny parts.
Now Ward... man did my heart ache for this man.... I am not going to share more than to say you will quickly understand why he does what he does and you will be rooting for him to "fit" into the picture.
I have come to relay on this author for her ability to TELL ME A STORY..... and she delivered that in spades, the story is masterfully woven with heat and emotion with current day and past tense and in each book as you learn more about these men she shares the story without being repetitive.
Each book moves the timeline forward in the end allowing the reader to be with these men for the years it take for their forever happy to play out.
I am trying so hard to rely the emotions I felt while reading this without giving anything away.
The love found in the end had me smiling from ear to ear as I knew everyone got what they needed!
I also wants to add that it was so helpful to me as a reader to be able to understand what each character obtained from the BDSM element of this book.

Every book by Lesli Richardson has become an automatic purchase for me. A such I got this entire trilogy with no hesitation. I am usually fundamentally against all thing cheater so I was not looking forward to seeing how this situation played out. As such I was 100% on board with however Daniel wanted to handed Liam and Ward. I loved the interplay between the characters and their willingness to fight for the people they loved.

Excellent

I truly fell in love with Daniel in this book. He is so strong to try and work with the cards his has drawn. A whole lot more forgiving and understanding than I am.

This was perfect with all aspects of the story. You will cry a lot I will warn you. Bring tissues. Lots of emotional issues to deal with.

Until Next Time... Tabi

It was interesting to get to read the second part of this story through Daniel's eyes. I liked how the balance between wanting revenge and hurting was handled. While I was disappointed that we didn't get to dig in depth in the story, that the novel was a bit short, I liked the direction things are heading now. On to book 3.

Well, this was something of a disappointment. I loved the first one. Full stop. This one was working toward being just as awesome. Then, it kind of...petered out, really. It was going so strong, then "Well, things have been ok for the last several months, and this happened, the end." I'm a bit hesitant to read the third because I'm afraid it's going to get dropped again.

This needed to be longer or mixed in as a perspective on one of the other books. It was good but too short and not developed enough. Still can’t wait to see how it plays out tho.

I kind of feel like this one wasn’t necessary. It’s just Daniel being bitter (rightfully so though)

Profane is book two in the Devout Trilogy, and brings us the story from Daniel’s point of view. Now that the HPF has been redeemed, although not in the agreed upon way, Daniel has to decide how to move forward. Should he give up on his marriage or fight for it against his husband’s ghost?

Ward has a lot to answer for – after ghosting on Liam 20 years ago. Liam has never healed from that event, and Daniel has spent the last 14 years trying to heal him. While the ghost is still a presence in their marriage, things are going well – until the ghost takes a physical form again.

Daniel needs to regain trust with Liam, and establish trust with Ward in order to get their desired future. Master or not, Liam has some make up work to do. Daniel’s keeping Liam and Ward on a short leash until he can get his plans to work. Daniel’s spent years collecting data on people, and can sink just about anyone in Washington he wants to. He will demolish Ward if he breaks Liam’s heart again.

Another great series! You need to read all three in the trilogy to get the complete story, but each one is worth it!

This book brings all the angst as Daniel does his best to deal with the hand he's dealt (which he walked into eyes open) while saving his marriage and doing his best by his husband's first love. The fact that he does anything for them in this book speaks to how strong a person he is, even when he has every reason to wash his hands of the situation.

Honestly, it's probably a good thing for the DC political scene that he's so busy with Liam and Ward, otherwise Kevin Markos would have some serious competition.
