I loved this book So much recommend this book to anybody who loves superhero’s and heart racing stories and it’s super interesting even better then regular superhero comic books.
My boys (age 9 & 11) really enjoyed the series. They loved every single chapter. As a mom, I liked the content and it wasn't too scary for them. It had good vocabulary and I commend the writer for how well the stories were put together.
If you are a seven year-old boy who longs to have super powers (like my son), Epic Zero is a must-read. For the past three months we have been blasting through this six-book series and my son has been engaged by every page. Before every cliffhanger (there are many), he insists on presenting his theories and soliciting mine for what might happen next. We like that there are visual character profiles at the end of each chapter. One quibble: there are so many amazing comic book artists out there, we both feel the character renderings could be "cooler." Some feel under-drawn and visually a bit underwhelming.
All-in-all, a great series that kids can really relate to.
I don't know if ther are any plans afoot to turn this series into a TV series or films, but if they arn't they should be. Elliott Harkness is the new Potter - there are even wands :) I love these stories. So many characters so many cool names - the 'Orb of Oblivion', the 'Blood Master', 'Infinity Wands' (told you), 'Wind Walker', 'Krule the Conqueror', 'The Intergalactic Paladins' ... I could go on. There is never a dull moment. I recommend this book.
