How could I not buy a book that’s entitled: I Love My Grandma? I'm very happy that I did. This little story is charming.

The story starts out with Grandma Hedgehog wanting to have a yummy picnic with her Little Hedgehog. Little Hedgehog loves to play hide and seek and so he decides to play a trick on Grandma. He hides from her.

Of course Grandma knows where he’s hiding, but she pretends that she doesn’t. Grandma continues to set up for their picnic, saying things like, “Where oh where can Little Hedgehog be?” And so the fun begins…

Thank you David Bedford for this sweet and adorable grandma, grandchild read. I haven’t shared it with my little granddaugher yet but when I do, I know that we’re going to have tons of fun helping Grandma Hedgehog find out where her little Hedgehog rascal is hiding.

I’m happy to give I Love My Grandma five hedgehogs….whoops, I means stars!

Of all the HEB children's books I've read/bought, I still like this one, but not quite as much as the mommy/daddy/grandpa ones. It is sweet, little hedgehog and grandma hedge hog are playing hide and seek, and little hedgehog secretly helps his grandma out, but also makes quite a mess (which is never cleaned up or addressed, just shown as cute). A fun little book where grandma prepares a picnic while playing hide and seek. Another good book encouraging multi-generational family relationships.

HEB sells these books for $1.00, so it is very affordable for a good message (and they sometimes do a special where you buy one of their products and get one book for free).

I recently was in Cracker Barrel and while checking out, saw this sweet book, I LOVE MY GRANDMA. I just had to have it. As a grandmother, I could relate to the love of Grandma Hedgehog and her Little Hedgehog. They have so much fun together. The illustrations are delightful, the story line is precious. This is a great storybook for all Grandmothers and their precious Grandchildren.

Little Hedgehog has hidden in a game of hide and seek and Grandma Hedgehog playfully lures him out with honey and finds a path to finding Little Hedgehog. This is a very simple but effective little book that is a cute read for any grandma and grandchild.
