Little boy dream of owning a Guinness World Records book. I decide to finally buy one. I love those for the funny facts aspects of some records. Even if i think that it lost something over the last decades, something going down to stupid records, it still has a lot of interesting one when you get in the natural/earth parts, the sports ones, the physical aptitudes or abnormality of it and some more. A good coffee table book that I enjoy exploring! Also very dense, all the pages are packs with records, there isn't any place that is not well use, so even if the book seem smaller, less bi then I remember those being, it has a lot of contents!

This will prove to be another interesting instalment in the Guinness World Records series. There are so many different categories and records for all sorts of things that you wouldn't even think off.

The book itself is huge, but has plenty of pictures to go with the records, and so you can read it bits and pieces at a time, and even pick and choose chapters if you like, a the topics are separated by chapter.

Lots of interesting facts, and would recommend to those who like to learn new information and random facts.

Considering the world absolutely fell apart in 2020, the book wasn’t too bad. Some of the record in this book clearly are because of the sheer amount of time we all had during that shit show of a year. The book was as amusing as always and the facts were as cool and nerdy as always.

The GWR is becoming more of fictional stuff with ever increasing proportion of descriptive stuff. The book once used to be all about the records, now its more like a mixture of many a things at the cost of the sole purpose the book was for.

This book is amazing! It has so many different records. For example, rubrics cube solved in 3.43 sec. How is that possibly! I am still reading it , but it is so interesting I can't stop reading it. In the book there are dangerous and safe records. Like for ex for safe , a granny that is 116 years old and 73 days. For dangerous- a man put on fire from ankle to the top of his head for 5 min 41sec , and survived with no oxygen at all! I will read this book for ages and ages . I hope you liked my review and enjoy reading this new book.

This new book of Guinness Records 2020 tests your curiosity in unusual beaten records, including those usual - the fastest, the strongest, the tallest or smallest - also the weirdest talents - the longest nails, the which who has more tattoos in the body - but the interesting thing is those new records that are being developed with the beginning of the new decade and that are related to Technology.

The new records highlighted in Technology are from Science and Robotics; as the largest humanoid vehicle developed for agricultural uses made by Japanese engineers, or the humanoid helpers with uses for daily life that will go from the laboratory to have a more active role in everyday life. Also more technology topics such as RoboCar (autonomous cars), Bionicopters developed for animal-based designs, moving to virtual reality (video games, fortnite) and finally engineering with architecture and space engineering.

A hardcover book with many curiosities and entertaining reading to share with the little ones.
Hoping to beat my reading record for this 2020. Enjoy it.

Another interesting annual from Guinness this year. I used like to get one of these in the winter when I was small I was interested with what it had to offer this year as a novelty. Not usually the kind of thing I read but I advise fact lovers to give it a shot

Some amazing facts and records here, and the 'on this day' panels at the bottom of each page are brilliant. Could do without the undeniably boring Robots section, but I imagine it made some readers happy!

Schon erstaunlich wie wenig Arbeit in die Formatierung/Rechtschreibung gesteckt wurde, vor allem gegen Ende sieht man mit bloßem Auge bereits 1-2 Fehler pro Seite. Abseits davon ist es das übliche, was Guinness World Records Bücher anbelangt; hat man eins gesehen, hat man alle gesehen.
