Of course, love is a sacred thing. Like sex and death. Devin had been in love once, but a funeral home is no place for a hopeless romantic. Ruing the day that he let his beloved slip away from him, Devin tries to find that spark again. Illicit love is what he tries to obtain in a way that has slowly become the norm for him.
Dead girls aren't supposed to argue. They aren't supposed to judge, and they certainly aren't supposed to mind being judged. But that's exactly what they're beginning to do.
You see, Devin is a virgin. He should've lost his virginity to his beloved Trinity, but eagerness and jealousy got in his way and ruined all of it.Now he's left with no friends, no family... only one assistant and a plethora of dead bodies who are becoming more and more vocal.
Will he find Trinity again? Will he have the courage or even the ability to win her back? He won't know, because he won't try. He will continue to try to find a suitable corpse. This tale has plenty of very dark, depraved humor throughout, becoming more and more graphic and violent with each page. However, the end result is something we all can hope for and relate to (not having sex with dead bodies, but you'll get it when the time comes).
WARNING: Not for those under 18, or people who are easily offended or triggered by graphic depictions of sex and violence.
Although he’s been writing stories since he first began learning to spell, William T. Adair is a relative newcomer to the published works arena. His specialty is extreme horror, although he does dabble in dark, modern fantasy and suspense. He has a deep- rooted appreciation in not only the books of the original “splatterpunk” movement, but of the current, more extreme works of his favorite authors.
William T. Adair was born on August 3rd, 1980, one minute before the witching hour. He has always thrived in the nighttime, and that is when he completes his best work.
The most important thing to William is that his works somehow touch someone by making them laugh, repulsed, scared, or even ashamed that he is a part of the human race. He loves the idea of being someone’s guilty pleasure, and aims to bring something more to the table than just gore for gore’s sake. A good story is what makes the horror the most effective. He tries to steer away from “cookie cutter” characters and scenarios, and strives to create surreal environments with believable actions and circumstances, while still delivering the imaginative and otherworldly.
Other hobbies and efforts include creating various forms of music, art (mostly pastels, acrylics and pen) and Jiu Jitsu (including competition).
William T. Adair currently has several books available on Amazon, with many more in the works. He is very active on social media, and loves to interact with like- minded people, peers, and fans of his work.
This is one dark, ridiculous book, well maybe not for everyone, but I chuckled a lot 🤭 I personally wanted to receive more from this story, and a few parts felt anticlimactic, but overall a nice read.
This book was a pretty great read, just entertaining as hell! A horror comedy full of black humor and plenty of gross moments. This put me in mind of movies like Idle Hands and Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetary Man). I had no idea going into this what it would be about, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the writing as well as the crazy story.
3.5-4 stars - I am getting a kick out of all these books that are being recommended to me on my kindle. It’s a mystery to me how it even started. I’ve read a few now, so I suppose they will continue to be recommended. The only reason this wasn’t a solid 4 stars is because of the number of errors. Other than that, this was quite an entertaining read! It was quite humorous as well as gory. Definitely not a book to read while you’re eating, but I would recommend it to anyone who likes this genre.
