The Hidden Vampire

Rate this book
A girl walks into an alley. Gets attacked. Guy saves her. They live happily ever after. The end. Maybe in YOUR fairytale. But in mine? I walked into the alley hoping to get attacked. Because the thing I’m starving. And I don’t mind drinking the blood of low-lifes who would attack a teenage girl. I’m a vampire. I don’t need rescuing. Ever. Especially not by a rich, handsome do-gooder. The kind who doesn’t just want to save me the one time, but brings me home and offers me a place to live. Like I’m a stray puppy. So, why did I let him? I’d like to think that it’s because his sheets have a higher thread count than the ones in the homeless shelter. It has NOTHING to do with the way he looks at me like I’m the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. Nope. I’m not a romantic. There is no happy ending here. And yet… every day I stay makes it harder to leave. Things definitely head South when his billionaire father gets home and finds out that a vampire is living in their guest house. But even I didn’t see the next plot twist coming. If I had, I might have done everything differently. Maybe then, I wouldn’t have fallen in love with a human and found myself the unlikely hero, hoping that I’m strong enough to save him.

The only thing that Sullivan Gray loves more than writing is reading. And maybe coffee. She writes in a variety of YA genres. In addition to the Blakemore Paranormal Academy series, she is the author of Pariah, the first in a contemporary YA spy series.
