Do I trust him to protect me or do I play it safe, knowing losing him would be another kind of death?

***Gage***
I'm not a good man.

Spoilerish.........

I loved the first book and thought it was different. Unrealistic, but different. I held on and bought book 2 to see if I could iron out my issues with the inconsistencies of the main characters.

However, two books in and still no sex between the main characters. Sorry but I give up. Make no mistake, Ms. Sapphire is a damn good writer but I find it hard to believe that a man whore murdering biker chooses to wait three months to pound himself into a young hot girl. NOT HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE - SORRY.

The ending of this cliffhanger book was so eyerollingly stupid and idiotic, my DH ran out to see what damage I was doing to the family kindle! Come on now. Two books of my time wasted for sex and that is how you choose to end the 2nd half? UGH.

Everybody is having sex but the two people who need to, should to, want to have sex. And the excuse for abstinence is stupid! He is 34, she is 17. UGH- stab my eyeballs out. When you find a drop dead gorgeous hardcore murdering biker bad boy with a monster cock who can snuggle all night next to a 17 year old luscious sex on legs begging lusty virgin without even sucking her nipples, please, give him my number. I'm out Ms. Sapphire. Bye!

Tempted is book 2 in the Death Dealers MC Series and part 2 of 3 in Gage and Raven's story. Book 1, Forbidden must be read first as Tempted begins where Forbidden ends. In this book, Raven has finally decided to stop fighting her attraction for Gage. She throws herself head first into the relationship with the enthusiasm of any 17 year old. This enthusiasm impresses Gage to the point where he begins to rethink his "no relationships" rule. He still, however, insists on waiting for her 18th birthday to have sex. Their relationship develops beyond their intense physical chemistry as they learn more about each other. As they progress, old and new obstacles threaten to tear them apart. Will they persevere or crumble under the weight before they can even give their relationship a chance?

This book is absolutely horrifying! I’ve dealt with a lot of dumb characters and triggers in different books. But after making this young girls virginity the centerpiece of the first two books on and on in a ridiculous drawn out way. And then at the end to have her raped violently by her sister with a dildo!???! What the actual hell!? So bad she had to be sewn up?!! I mean this is some sick shit keep it moving if you don’t want to have nightmares I would give it -100 if I could thanks for ruining my weekend a hole

*SPOILER.FUCKING.ALERT*

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!?!?! Are you kidding me? This book was so unnecessary. All that happened was that Gage's 17 year old little giggler got a few days closer to turning 18, so the KILLER with a conscience can finally fuck her. But wait... that still hasn't fucking happened!! And that shit at the end... as if I didn't see that coming from a mile away! You call your sister - who you know is a PSYCHO - a slutty whore, and highlight the fact that you yourself are a virgin, and you don't expect there to be trouble! I can't even...

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!!!
ALANA, YOUR KILLIN ME!! Lol! I ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS BOOK! Before you read this book you must read Forbidden. This series will blow your mind. I have fallen in love with Alana's writing and story telling. I can feel the characters emotions coming off the pages. I felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading a book. This story line is so original and so intense I can't praise it enough. This book picks right where Forbidden left off. Things continue to heat up between Raven and Gage. And I mean HOLY CRAP! They get hotter with each book. The sexual tension caught my Nook on fire! Lol! I have a guess as to who the bad guy is and I hope Gage puts a bullet in their head. I cried my eyes out and I'm talkin the screaming ugly cry. My heart is broken for Raven. At times though I was laughing out loud at the girl talk between Raven and her friends Chrissy and Toni. You will watch Gage begin to change into a completely different man for Raven but he will always retain his badass alpha persona. I extremely recommend this book to everyone! If you lookin for smokin hot alpha men that will make your panties wet, your heart melt and your pulse race then you should most definitely read this series. And just be ready for one hell of a cliffhanger. ALANA, I'M DYIN HERE! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T KEEP US WAITING TOO LONG FOR CLAIMED. Much love to you.

The continuation of Gage and Raven's story, and good grief, is it getting more intriguing! We got to see Gage and Raven's interaction even more, and things are getting naughtier and scorching hot. On top of making sure others know Raven is his, Gage is having to tend to business for the DD MC and, with a threat coming out of nowhere, Gage is on the hunt for those fuckers!

Raven keeps tempting Gage but to no avail; she wants to make sure she's ready for him on all levels. Though there's really only one person what will stand in her way, and that's her own sister, Lonnie. This book had me hating Lonnie even more, so much so that I started called her Looney Lonnie!

I knew things were going to good and that was scaring the mess out of me—and once I got to the end, I was proven right because that was one heck of an ending! Ms. Sapphire, you destroyed my heart and I beg you to please put it back together in the next one, because I can't believe what just happened. Please, please tell me we get to get book three soon!!! ~ Kara, 4.5 stars

Reasons for 2*:

1.Unfortunately the book 2 isn't really a book but a few chapters with a cliff hanger. This plot and the characters aren't complex enough to be more than a 2 part series.

2. The ending is so depressingly awful - nothing substantial happens between the Hero and heroine in the bedroom - instead

3. I loved book 1, but certain characters who ought to have been dropped (Chris, Christy and the remaining 17 year old entourage) continued into the next book adding nothing to the plot.

4. It no longer feels like a biker book at all. I'm getting more clued up on Afro-Caribbean culture than the Mexican-Biker duo who make up the main protagonists **confused**

5. The characters do a massive U-turn from avoiding bikers to wanting to become biker babes.

Omg what a cliffhanger

I'm so stunned by the ending of this book that I'm speechless. I couldn't decide side to cry more for what happens to Raven or Gage when she thinks he's done that to her. Gage has made so many sacrifices for Raven. He's changed so much for her. Book 3 can't come out fast enough.

Nearly as good as book 1. Besides some over-the-top story developement, I really had problems to put the book down even if I had to get up early in the early morning. It entertained me a lot - I really liked both protagonist. But I wasn't a fan of the scene with Cage and the woman which he spanked to get information and the whole spanking thing, but I'm excited for the next book.

Raven's life changes when her Father passes away and leaves her in the Custody of her only living relative her older Sister Lonnie. Lonnie is involved with a local 1% MC and has aspirations to one day be an Old Lady for none other then Club Prez Gage. Lonnie is willing to kill to get what she wants... family or not.

When Gage first sees Raven across his Club he wants nothing but a quick F but as time goes by he slowly wants more. He wonders if this little Latin Princess could be the one who can bring the Reaper to his knees.

But what would an MC romance be without bullets, blood and bodies. Ravens life is on the line and Gage has to decide how far he is willing to go. Is he all in? Guess you'll have to read to find out...

BTW this series is still amazing with how diverse the characters are! Finally an MC melting pot!

I liked Gage in this one. Do I find it realistic that the badass biker would hold out for 3 months, no but this is fiction and he's a book boyfriend. I like seeing the changes that Raven brings to him. I'd rather see less of her friends and more of his but overall enjoyed the story. On to book 3

Pretty good read. I didn't like the ending of course, but it fits with the rest of the book. I recommend it to people who like this genre.

This is the second book in the Death Dealers MC series by Alana Sapphire. This one was better than the first but I’m still not a fan of Raven and I definitely think Gage could do MUCH better than her.

Oh Alana! What are you doing to me?! The chemistry between Raven and Gage is palpable, it's so thick. I just kept thinking the whole book- is it going to happen now? No, maybe the next day? I just kept waiting and waiting, until I was so sick of Gage trying to honorable that I was cussing him. The legal age of consent is 16 where they live, so I honestly don't understand his thinking and it's quite frustrating.

After the ordeal Raven and Gage went through from the end of the last and beginning of this book their relationship starts to evolve into something deeper than physical attraction. Gage has NEVER wanted an 'old lady' but now he's starting to wonder if she's the perfect old lady material. Raven surprises him at every turn with how strong and loyal she is. When other girls would freak out, Raven steps up and does what's needed.

Her sister finally notices there's something between them, especially when Gage has Raven ride on the back of his bike on a ride with the club. She doesn't take it well and I'm kind of scared of what she might do. I don't trust her and I think she's more evil than Raven even wants to admit.

The big 18th birthday party is approaching and Gage has it planned out to be the most special day of her life. He's fully prepared to claim her as his own, and not just sexually. He knows he loves her and wants her and the rest of the world to know. The book ends on a killer cliffhanger before the party can occur. I can't say anything else, just know that I won't sleep well until I get the next book!

I was deeply offended by this author using a religious name when naming one of her characters who was the total opposite of who he was named after. I contacted this author and explained that I really enjoyed her series but her using a revered and sacred name for a character that slept around felt like an insult to me, she assured me that she didn't mean to be offensive and it must have been an error and she would look to rectify it. Months later....her "error" is still there! Author's have a right to write any thing they want and I respect that but where's the respect for people like me who think it's in bad taste to to give names of ANY religion to characters who are anything but holy?? I am deeply upset with this author for not keeping her word. There are thousands of names to pick WHY pick out names that could potentially upset people? I just don't understand this. I enjoyed this series until this book because every time that name was mentioned I cringed with discomfort! This is my personal feelings and why I will not read anything more from this author.

I was really enjoying this series of books until ....

I got to the end of book 2. This author is really talented, but she resorted to the easiest trope to cause conflict at the end of this book.

Spoilers abound!!!! If they bother you, stop reading here! Turn around and absolutely do not collect 200 dollars!

I could almost handle the rape. Almost. But for Raven to blame Gauge, no not acceptable. I don't care if she has blocked out that night. She obviously remembers everything leading up to that night. This means that she knows he is not capable of committing this crime, but especially not on her. The author giving her this reaction makes her character tstl which is a complete 180 from how she has portrayed her up until now. Not cool. I'm so pissed off, that I do not know if I'm going to read book 3. I do not know how she could possibly recover this series in my eyes now. If I do read book 3 and she doesn't drag out this stupid misunderstanding trope, then I may update this review. For now I say reader/ buyer beware. Do not start this series!

I have to say that I read some of the reviews for this book and while I know that a lot of people feel differently about what works for them in a book and I can say that's fine but one person said that this book wasn't working for.her because the couple hasn't even had sex yet and we are through book two. I for one like that Gage hasn't gone all the way with Raven, she is still 17 and we are seeing him wait til she is 18, I like that, I don't think that all these books should be about how the main characters are getting each other off,.while saying that hot steamy love scence are great and essential to romance/ erotica books, but aren't we supposed to connect with the characters. I think his book was a great read, you see Gage and Raven both struggling to wait or each other, but while they are doing this they are getting to know each other and form a relationship. I wish that we would see a little more of the MC life in these books, but I think overall it has a nice flow. I will say that this book leaves us with one hell of a cliffhanger.

Sigh...I really liked the first book and although it was frustrating at times, I was hoping we would get some resolution and progression of storyline.
Nope...more of the same foreplay, teasing, attempted attacks on the virginal Raven and no HEA for her and Gage...yet.
The cliffhanger ending was not a complete surprise (and I'm guessing I think I know who is behind the tragic events of the end of the book) but again we are left hanging with very little movement in the story and history repeating itself for Gage.
I don't have much else to say except I was disappointed and although the chemistry between Raven and Gage was thrilling and exciting to read, I just really wanted more.
Guess we have to wait yet again, for the next book and I'm hoping the story finishes for this couple as there are several more who deserve their own books.

FIVE Stars!

I received an ARC for an honest review of Tempted (Death Dealers MC, #2) by Alana Sapphire

Well let me just say that I finished this book angry. Angry you ask? Yes, ANGRY! Because I need the next book. This book has a cliffhanger, and after getting to know Raven and Gage and rooting for them....well let's just say I have to wait. Tempted is better than Forbidden, you see more development of all the characters and the heat and passion between Gage and Raven. I loved this book and this series, but for now I'm going to go sulk. That is until Claimed (death Dealers MC #3) is released.

Again , really loved this book.
In a review i wrote for the previous book , i said that i did not like other MC books. But i forgot that i have read 'Chasing Alie , Finding Alie and Keeping Alie' and i really loved those books.
I don't know witch is better. This series or the other.
I think , this one has more MC in it then the Alie series witch has also MC in it but not as much as this. Plus , Raven is one bad-ass woman!
So maybe i like this one better.. I don't know , i always have trouble with choosing. I don't have one favorite , but multiple one's . In every sense , books , movies , tv , color , objects ..
What i know for sure is that this series will defenitly go in my best books list !

This book wasn't as good as the first book. As I thought about it, I'm not exactly sure what the purpose was for this book. There wasn't an antagonist, so there was no real tension, except for the sexual tension, which the author does very well.

She did introduce the rest of the club, which could have been done in book one.

A peeve of mine is when a book ends right in the middle of a suspenseful scene, which happens in this book as well as the first one.
I have since started book three and so far, that is my favorite. So, if you're wondering if you should continue the series, I say push through this book, its a quick read and get to the third book. ☺

Another great book

Wow! I’m beyond ecstatic that I stumbled on this series. Book 2. Wow. Like the first, I was still hooked and eager to continue reading waiting to find out what happens. All the feels it gave me were perfect. Happy, sad, surprised, shocked and many others, are what I’m still feeling. I NEED to continue on to book 3 right now! It’s an amazingly written book with amazing characters and storyline. It has everything you want to read in a book and more. I highly recommend this series to everyone that wants to read an amazingly written book.
