Hell's Redemption: The Complete Series Boxset

Rate this book

THE COMPLETE HELL'S REDEMPTION SERIES including bonus Novella! a #Whychoose romance with the devil, swearing, M/M, inappropriate gifts and orgies in Hell.

THE REDEEMABLE : BOOK ONE

Arcadia’s dying. But that’s okay.

She was prepared to spend her last years alone, working boring temp jobs and eating cereal straight out of the box, until the inevitable moment that her heart finally gave out. That way, she wouldn’t cause anyone any unnecessary grief, and that was noble, right?

But a chance meeting on the subway changes everything. Now she's living with not one guy, but seven intriguing men who are all as sexy as, well… sin. But she'll soon discover that there is more to the guys than their attractive appearance and their disconcerting willingness to take care of a complete stranger.

They are the embodiment of a Seven Deadly Sins, pawns in an ancient bet, and apparently so was Arcadia, who was meant to be some kind of savior.

They chose the wrong girl. Death was knocking at her door, and so was the Devil.

****

THE UNREPENTANT: BOOK TWO

Estrella had a hero complex. Her twin sister, Hope, had teased her about it for as long as she could remember. She’d always been ready to go to battle for the underdog. She loved her job at the Boston P. D., loved that she could make a difference to people’s lives.

But when Hope is abducted outside a conference in Geneva, Estrella’s carefully ordered world takes a sharp left turn into darkness. Vowing revenge on the human traffickers that abducted Hope, she begins her hunt for justice.

Throw in her best friend, two wildly inappropriate gifts from her pseudo-parent Lucifer, and a sexy mercenary from her past, and she has everything she needs to break the people who broke Hope. Blood will spill and her inner darkness will rise, but Estrella doesn’t care. She may have a savior complex, but what people didn’t seem to realize was she had never been the good twin.

****

THE FALLEN: BOOK THREE

Hope had always been different. The child that should never have been. A fragile creature who’s empathy made her universally loved by those who knew her. An anomalous mixture of both humanity and the Divine, she walked the line between human and something more.

After she was abducted while on a business trip in Europe, Hope is forced to try and find herself beneath the emotions and expectations of others. However, that’s a hard thing to do when she is surrounded by Fallen Angels that all seem to want something from her. Mephistopheles looked at her like she was the key to something he had lost, and Gusion was haunted by a million possible futures that only he could see.

Then there was The Angel of Death who kept appearing to stare at the “aberration” like she was as an animal at the zoo, and a hitman who’d been coerced into being her unwilling bodyguard. Her life was a complicated mess.

If only she knew what was to come…

When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre.

Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer.

Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?

Grace McGinty, you have a new fangirl! 😱❤️ I was so sad to reach the end of the last book. Such an awesome series with very likable/relatable heroines, a great variety of guys, and some amazing world building.

Hell’s Redemption Complete Series Boxset – Grace McGinty

THE REDEEMABLE: BOOK ONE
Meet the seven deadly sins and redeem them from the Fires of Hell? Sounds simple right…
Maybe not! Especially if you are terminally ill AND have the soul of another living within you.
This first book in the series is a sumptuous stage setter for what can only be described as a family love story that transcends the concept of time.
There is the usual angst that arises when the likes of Heaven and Hell, Angels and Fallen are concerned, but throw in the purest of souls in our FMC and you soon realise that the strongest force of all is love.
The usual warnings for steamy sex scenes that makes this RH an 18+ read.

THE UNREPENTANT: BOOK TWO
In the second book, we fast forward twenty years and meet the now adult twins of our FMC from the first book, Estrella and Hope.
This second book focusses on the relationships of Estrella. Not going into too much detail, but let’s just say, Harem gathering seems to run through the genes of these women.
This book has a lot of action scenes and some gruesome torture thrown into the blood and guts. The usual warnings for saucy sex scenes containing all the fun combinations including MM making this another 18+ read.

THE FALLEN: BOOK THREE
What would make an Angel fall?
Hope, the smaller and softer of the twins is quite possibly one of the purest souls to ever grace the earth in human form. Her story is one of compassion and tolerance. Until it isn’t.
After the unfathomable events that have shaken her world, Hope sets out to make things right, and she seeks vengeance for her losses and the losses her loved ones are suffering.
Hope is determined to wreck the insidious organisation that has taken so much from her but the inevitable divine intervention that has been so instrumental in her (and her family’s) life again asserts itself in this story arc.
Again, this is RH, so the usual sexy fun combinations make this another 18+ read

Bonus HELL'S REDEMPTION SERIES Novella: UNHALLOWED
This is a quick little final wrap up from the author. We are given a look at what Lucifer really thinks of the human world as the author ties up a few loose ends. It’s actually quite charming reading it from the devils POV. A really cute little bonus that you wouldn’t normally get unless you bought the boxset.

My wrap up goes like this:
If you love fantasy/paranormal with a healthy dose of sexy good times in the form of Reverse Harem, then you should read this series! It’s a quick page turner, easy to read and a lot of fun.
Overall, I gave it four stars!

The whole story

Unfortunately I got the boxed set so couldn’t review each book individually. The reviews would have been the same, sooooo much awesomeness 😍
Starting with Arcadia and weaving down the generations, lovingly intertwined, characters falling into their places, very sad about ‘rella but understandable to the storyline. I laughed and cried, highly recommend this series and author

Ah.maze.ing!

Omg this story! A bloody, soul wrenching, tug of war between heaven and hell love story for the millennia. Angels and demons, sins and saints - it’s all here in one ridiculously long book! Three books and one novella narrated by Lucifer and 7 days later, I have finally finished. The stories of Arcadia and her sins, Lucifer and Acerezeal, Estrella and her gargoyles, and Hope and her angels, and the Mulligans of course were so good. Heart wrenching at times (holy crap book 2!!!)but also redemptive. So good. Read these books!

It was fun and I enjoyed the different stories, but everything just felt a bit rushed or vague or glossed over at times so I never really connected with the characters, but I did enjoy all the crazy adventures they found themselves in.

I need justice for Estrella

This series was decent until the end of Book 2. This was just preference that I didn’t like who and what was sacrificed for certain people to have their HEA. The grammar in this book was bad! So many instances where non American terms are used. A lot of missed words throughout the entire book.

Book 1 was pretty good. Had me on the edge of my seat at the end. It was hard to keep up with 7 love interests. A lot of grammatical errors though. This book is based in America, so it’s an elevator not a lift. So many instances like this.

Book 2. Poor Charlie. Wish the parents had more kids but I guess they’d be regular not special like the twins. I loved this group. HATED the ending. It seemed so rushed and inconclusive. Definitely a cliffhanger. I’m sure we’ll get answers in Book 3 but it probably won’t be from Rella’s POV and I hate that.

Spoilers below!

Book 3. I think I was too upset about Estrella’s death to enjoy this book. From the beginning, Estrella seems like the outcast. Everybody loves Hope. There’s something special about her. Hope’s book got the family appearances. Archangels are fascinated by her. Sometimes it even seems like Luce and Ace loved Hope more or they held her in higher regard than Estrella. Estrella also collected the damaged but she died while Hope got to live. So unfair. It just kind of seems Estrella was thrown away and didn’t get her true happy ending. Rella had to die for Hope to flourish.

Adnan is such a diva. Hope made it seem like her parents were super elderly. Like serious overkill. They definitely still have many years to live. Especially when “eyepatch” was attractive but is the same age as her parents. I didn’t particularly understand the chemistry with Blue or Azriel. Blue kind of grew on me but Azriel literally almost killed her mother and took her pseudo moms soul. I’m glad Hope will end up with her sister but sad they won’t be together with their parents.

Novella. It would’ve been nice if Naz reunited with Adnan. Again with making the 7 seem so freaking old. Hope and Blue will probably be old when they die but Luc made it seem like the Fallen couldn’t be with her in Hell.

So this is the whole redeemable series (The Redeemable, The Unrepentant, and The Fallen) plus an added bonus novella that seems like it was suppose to be a sudo-epilogue, but in reality it wasn't. So as an overall series, I give a 4 star rating (broken down in the next paragraph).

Briefly: I really liked The Redeemable (4 stars), I LOVED The Unrepentant (5 stars), I was majorly disappointed in The Fallen (2 stars), and Unhallowed was a joke (not in a good way) (1 star). So since I've reviewed the three major players of this series both individually and as groupings on Goodreads, I'll just dive into Unhallowed.

Unhallowed
Everything below is a review on specifically Unhallowed.

Well that wasn't worth the time it took to skim through. A story that could've been funny, as well as a great opportunity to give us an epilogue to the series, was wasted on a demoness hunt during Halloween with a POV was seemed to change throughout the story...without telling the audience. It was suppose to be Luc's POV, but I swear there are times when it's someone else talking to/about him instead of Luc talking. This would've been a great time to catch us all up on who was doing what but Arc and her seven deadly sins/mens were skimmed over, and Rella and her boys were present but didn't seem like the crew that we've come to know and love. So, the story really focuses more on Hope and her guys, and finding these demonesses that Rella brought up to the surface with her to help the family prepare their Halloween dinner.

--Rating - 1 star - unnecessary
--Steam - 1 star - the scenes that are present were glanced over
--Storyline - 1 star - an odd addition to the series
--Plot Twists - 1 star - there aren't really any
--Emotional Pull - 1 star - this is suppose to be a funny epilogue-style novella I think... but was unsuccessful.
--Writing - 2 stars - difficult to get in to
--Denouement - 2 stars - we only get a small peek into everyone's lives and I feel like I'm still missing out on a lot of stuff. However, some of our previously unanswered questions are indeed answered in a round about way.
--Cliffhanger? - no
--HEA? - yes

Merged review:

This is a novella that is attached to the complete series for The Redeemable. The only way I found to read it was to download that (which is called Hell's Redemption) and then skip to the end for the novella. However, I don't think it was worth the read if I'm being honest.

I recently picked up my very first Grace McGinty book and it was LOVE at first read💕❤️💕

I’m planning on reading all of her books and right now she is my current favorite author, I cannot get enough. Her books have a lot more story to them compared to my usual quick & dirty insta-love. These stories are RH/ ménage and I thought the first one would be too much (uh, 7 guys? What do you do with 7!!??) but it’s perfect and every guy is unique and it was easier to keep them straight than I thought it would be.

What I love most about this authors writing style is the mouthy sarcastic thoughts & comments…they make me laugh so much. The guys are all super tough alpha males but with hearts of gold even if it’s just for their heroine. There are a ton of super hot & steamy scenes which is mandatory for me, but they were fantastic 🔥🔥🔥! There’s some MM which I LOVE in my ménage/ RH stories. The Hells Redemption series should be read in order as you see the same characters throughout.

This series continues with Serendipity (2 books) and I do NOT want to say goodbye to these characters AT ALL. I’m hoping the author continues with this series, focusing on other characters we’ve met, as there are a few somewhat open storylines.

Fun and Epic and Sassy

This box set was incredible. Angels, the Fallen, Gargoyles, the Seven Sins, Demonesses and wild adventures aplenty.

It's in reading these kinds of books that the part of my brain affected by my conservative religious upbringing sort of has a happy dance in my mind. Maybe the bad guys really aren't evil, they're just a balance for good. Two sides of the same coin really. Yin and yang. It makes sense to me.

Anyway, this box set contains three separate stories:

1. The Redeemable - a dying woman meets the embodiment of the seven deadly sins and it gets spicy
2. The Unrepentant - a woman vows revenge against people who attack her twin and has a team of hot dudes to help her
3. The Fallen - an empathic woman suffers with PTSD after a torturous kidnapping, only to be surrounded by fallen angels who look at her like a snack

Maybe I've made it out to just be a spicy read and it is spicy, but the longer tale is well written and full of strong women who know what they want and will do whatever it takes to protect their friends and family from evil.

It's just so good. I loved it.

New editor please!

Honestly broken up into three pieces:

The first book 4-5stars
Second book 2 stars
Third book 3 stars

The underlying stories are great, they are well thought out, it’s the editing or lack there of.
The first book is so intriguing and exciting loved it from start to finish.

The daughters’ story on the other hand is just missing things, feels rushed, short, and incomplete. The second book was just disappointing. The one cousin who’s leg was blown off was such a freaking brat I literally couldn’t with him. He was literally such a petty whiner even when his brother was happy and changed for the better (not as dead inside) then the same cousin continued being a brat in the next book, I couldn’t.

3rd book better than the second but just meh.

The common core is that the editing was poor, sentences not making complete sense, a book that was supposed to be based in America but with European slang , it just wasn’t cohesive. The research wasn’t there.

The Redeemable has a darker edge to it than I have come to expect from Grace McGinty, and it is sheer brilliance. How to explain it? A lot of dark romance is dark because of forces that are external to the main characters. That force is usually portrayed by the villain of the story. But here? There is no bad guy to conquer. The danger and fear and loss all stem directly from the very nature of the female main character. So, how do you fight it?

The answer is: you don't. You hold on tight and hope against hope that things will work out. As the reader, you're crossing every finger and toe and holding your breath for the next page, because we all know that a happily-ever-after is never guaranteed.

The realities of good vs bad being so incredibly subjective are well highlighted in the depths of the characters. The traditionally "bad" guys do an awful lot of good, and vice versa. I enjoyed the multiple layers to the story.

And the sex. OH.MY.GODS! the sex. It came quickly and often - just like Cady 😏. Absolute fire.

Wow!!! Love it when I find a 5 star book/ series.

This series- the 10 book collection is incredible, and I mean it when I say un put down able! Which is hard when its over 1000 pages and takes about a week to read in-between work n kids!! But I picked it up every single moment of free time.

The interwoven stories about these strong women n their harems is spellbinding. The characters and characterisation is incredible.

The writing is perfect, the right pace, just the right amount of action, vs sex scenes, vs angst etc. The author is obviously a very experienced sophisticated writer.

Sadly as I read this series as a box sex I cant review each book but suffice it to say there's not enough superlatives for how awesome this book collection is.

I just want more. Sadly I read serendipity the next book first. I know it said to read this first but I didnt want to have to read 10 books first. My bad. I should have listened. Now I have to work out what comes after serendipity grr

Very solid stories!

I’m giving this set a 4 overall. Books 1 and 2 were a 3.75 rounded up for me, and book 3 was easily a 4.5. I think Arcadia and Rella’s books would’ve worked better as at least duets because I felt like there was a prominent divide in each chapter, where they either focused on driving the plot forward or developing the characters and the romances, which kinda took me out of the story at times, but that’s really the only thing of note as far as my personal reading experience goes. I truly adored this entire cast of characters and how each FMC found exactly the guys that were right for her. And the bonus content at the end was excellent! There’s a lot of love and a ton of fun weaved throughout the series, and I’m profoundly glad I read it. Will absolutely need to read Serendipity’s books!

Love these books!

I just read all of the books in this series separately. I went through the following series too but after that, as I was looking through Grace's book list I noticed this boxset and I had to go ahead and read through it too because of the short story at the end. It isn't a must to move on to the next set of books but it is alot of fun and there are a couple of things that you won't learn about until quite a bit through the following books. It'll come eventually but I would rather have known beforehand just to be fully caught up.
The only issue now is that it looks like after Serendipity has her two books we hit a wall. I Need to know what happens next!
So I'm on my way to stalk and harass Grace's socials for some answers.. Two of my favorite guys really need some lovin!

I love Grace McGinty and her books. This was not one of my favorites. I read it as the box set. Three separate but interconnected stories. The characters were great with a good dynamic between them. I just felt each storyline did not address everything. In the first storyline we really don’t even witness how each “sin” is redeemed. The 2nd book seems to have a shocking ending that literally just ends. I couldn’t believe that was it. I feel the third book could have tied things up a bit better. I’m not sure if these books individually were meant as novellas but that is how they seem to read for me. But to me a book by Grace McGinty with a few things I didn’t like is still a book that is superior to others.

Hells Redemption

I have seriously mixed emotions about this set of books. Book one was very good. Book two's ending can go rot a soggy dirty sock, it sucked. It sucked so bad tha if it was a paperback instead of my iPad I would have thrown the book in the fireplace. I'm still very angry about it. I don't feel that vengeance was really given. It just plane sucked. Book three was good but I don't understand how little Hope's real mom was in it and it had another suck donkey entrails part. I'm not a proponent of books that screw over the people who were supposed to have the HEA.

Wow! Just an absolute Wow!

I really wasn't very sure what I was starting when I began reading Hell's Redemption. But kudos to Ms. McGinty for turning the world on its ear. Much of what you wrote made so much sense, and I wholeheartedly subscribe to the concept that heaven needed a reboot. One point, still very missed that you killed Rilla and her guys. Absolutely tore my heart out, particularly since I have seen in real life what happens to identical twins when one dies. Hopefully, there might be more from HOPE and her consort in the future. Many thanks for this series.

Soooooo Gooooooood!

This series is going to be a favorite of mine for a very long time. I'm glad I got to read it as a boxset.

The first book is the story of Arcadia and her seven deadly sins personified.
The second is the twin Estrella who falls for a pair of male gargoyles and creates a pack with them and her best friend Charlie Mulligan and his friend/step-cousin.

The third book is the story of twin Hope and her band of angels and an Irish mob hit man named Blue Halloran.

These are all reverse harem stories, but only Estrella's story has M/M content.

Super spicy 🌶🌶🌶🌶 I highly recommend!

DNF @34%. It started out well, I really liked the idea that she had to redeem them and was looking forward to seeing the ways in which she would do that. However, she only actively sets out to redeem 2 of them, the rest just redeem themselves, and before we even get a chance to see her build a relationship with each guy individually, the POV is switched. And it never switches back, so it feels like we were robbed of the FMC's happy ending, and her getting to know the babies. The change in POV ruined the whole series for me.

DNF- 24%

I just got kind of.. bored. Unfortunately. I really liked the idea and was excited to see things progress but it just went so fast. Which I don't necessarily mind when the ball gets rolling fairly quickly.. but then the plot itself was just FLYING by and it left me wanting more from the relationships and characters.

I read a few reviews to see if it would get better and saw other people saying the POV switches to Ace and we never even experience Arcadia's happy ending so I gave up.

This whole box-set was absolutely fantastic. I did not see one bad thing. I could not put it down. Ace is my absolute favorite character. All the characters were well developed and everyone was balanced out well and no plot holes which is amazing, I really enjoyed this take on the devil and the seven deadly sins is perfect. Though a certain someone getting cancer at the end made me ball my eyes out! I highly recommend this boxset. It is the whole package.

Probably my favourite Angel/Devil series so far!

Just loved this series! The characters were all well rounded and each had points to like or dislike but this just made them all the more relatable.

A good few twists and well written plot. I would have liked it to be multiple POV but that's just because I prefer that format. It worked well regardless.

If you like RH heaven/hell related stories this is definitely one for you!

Needs an edit for Britishisms

I would have given this box set 5 Stars except for the fact that every single book is set in America and they are full of British isms that should have been edited out.

Examples: car park for parking lot, takeaway instead of carryout, boot instead of car trunk. You get the picture.

Author should make sure that Americans do a beta read and an edit before future books go to publication

Beautifully written and absolutely captivating

Seriously great read. This series has so many emotional ups and downs, laughs and tears, blood and love that I'm exhausted. But oh was it so entertaining, I was engrossed from the very start and it just got better and better as it went on. I'm sad it's over now, I fell completely in love with every character and will definitely be rereading it again and again. I highly recommend this series!

Brilliant!

Each book was a real page turner, the characters were captivating and Lux in my mind was so Jason Statham. I was expecting 3 books carrying one story line but this was 3 books that entwined 3 storylines seamlessly , There's lots of action, drama, funny moments and sizzling moments. This box set contained everything I loved . Also the main ladies are truly special in more ways than one .

This was an entertaining boxset. The individual stories were good and had characters that you couldn’t help but like. The overall series arc kept you reading and had some turns that weren’t predictable. I’ve read these after reading other books by this author and it was easy to tell this was her early work as there were a lot of silly errors throughout. It was a little off putting at times but it didn’t stop my from finishing so I guess that’s gotta show the story was good.

I'm giving this 4 stars. The story is a good idea and I love the idea behind it but we have this big tragic event that happens and we never get to see the reunion between the FMC and her guys, we never get to see her hold her children. We get thrust into the pov of a background character and then several huge time skips. I was not a fan of that and if I wanted to read the romance of the background character, I wouldn't have wanted to read this story.

The Hell's Redemption box set contains The Redeemable, The Unrepentant, and The Fallen. I borrowed the three novels as an ebook through Kindle Unlimited (KU). In all honesty, I was only interested in the blurb for the for the writing was so good I went right into the next two. All the stories were great, and the writer managed to keep all the personalities distinct in each book. I enjoyed them all.

I’m not gonna lie, i skipped a lot

I skipped the entire first 100ish or so pages of Hopes story, just until it caught up to where we left off with Rella (lol) but yeah. Also skimmed/skipped overa lot of the spicy scenes. I didn’t like the book at first to be honest but i’m sooo happy i powered through the beginning (Cadys first few chapters).
Just give the book a chance. it’s worth reading
