I COULDN’T PUT IT DOWN

The obsession with Camilla grows as Adrian is put into prison and escapes. The changes in him become more pronounced and Roxy got me into the story. I didn’t stop until I finished reading the story and was ready to start on the next one as this one has a cliff-hanger also. She hints at things that keep you going and at points make you want to throttle the heroine for some of the not so bright things that she does. It also has you wanting her to be smarter and stronger.

Tangled Obsession by Roxy Sinclair a five-star read that will astound you. This is the second novel in the Dark Obsession Trilogy, and you should read them in order as they do follow Camilla and Samuel on their journey and the story continues and follows on in each part. This story goes from strength to strength, I am weirdly glad that you get to see Aiden’s story in this one, he has a story that will surprise you. The crazy in this story will keep you on the edge of your seat and you won’t be able to put it down. Bring on number three already!!

Although I wasn’t a fan of first book, I was intrigued to find more about Samuel and was hoping this one would give more development of his character. Unfortunately I became bored not even half way through. This part had even more plot holes and wth moments than the first book. Instead of becoming even more invested in characters, they started to irritate me even more. In the end I just don't care enough to read the final instalment. I'm also not sure if it's because I've read too many dark romances, but I don't think the author and I have the same definition of dark romance. I didn't find anything particularly dark in first book and this one.

Adrien is in jail, and I can finally prove to Camilla that I’m everything she needs. I promised to protect her, and I’m going to keep that promise, no matter what.

A terrifying standoff ended with my brother in jail… Camilla has agreed to press charges, but she’s a broken woman, and she needs me now more than ever. Keeping her safe and protected is the only thing I’ve ever wanted, and now, with Adrien out of the way, I can finally be myself.

Adrien should be safe in prison, but his harassment continues, even from behind bars. If he ever gets out, his revenge will be terrible, and I’ll be forced to do something drastic to keep my family, and my love, safe.

But Adrien isn’t willing to give up without a fight, and when he kidnapped Camilla, I knew I would have to tear apart the world to find her.

Adrien is unhinged… raving and unpredictable. I know that if Camilla doesn’t do everything he demands, that her life will be in even greater danger. All I want is to have her back in my arms, safe from all of this pain and heartache.

All I can do is hope that Camilla can stay strong. I promised that I would protect her. Even now there is hope, but I’m running out of time and Adrien is in control.

The storyline, what little addition there was, continued to develop the love interest between Camila and Samuel, and Adrien's dark motives. Again, not a dark romance but more of a triller, a very slow one. This book should either have been at most a two-part series. We didn't need a recount of line of activity the characters were involved in, visits to the zoo, the park, the bathroom. Sheez.

Second, the author constantly referred to Samuel's home as "the mansion." Who refers to their home, even if it is large, as "the mansion." I know, someone who is either unaccustomed to wealth or has an immature writing style. Second strange choice of words was the author calling the household staff "servants." Who says that?!? Titles, like maid, butler, gardener, etc., but not servants, and then in the same breath she says the "mansion" is mostly empty. Is there household staff or not? Finally, Camila has lived with Samuel three weeks and can't remember not one of the chefs' names. She recalls it as "Maria." It felt like an unspoken prejudice. Sad.

This story really had the foundation to be a quick, appropriately paced thriller, and instead, seemed to intentionally and uneventfully drag on.

Roxy Sinclaire has me completely invested in this series! After book one, I wanted to see where Adrian, Samuel and Camila would end up, and this had me reeling! After an altercation with Adrian, Camila presses charges and he is put in jail. Now, just when we think Samuel and Camila can find their happily ever after, Adrian wreaks havoc and Camila is now in a fight for her life! Talk about edge of your seat! I kept listening, trying to figure out what would happen next, what the cause of the obsession is, is it really Adrian or is it Samuel(wondering if anyone else thinks about that too!) and will there be a happily ever after? I love getting to know more of the characters, like Brianna and Camila's mother. It's adding another layer of depth and I can't wait to see where it all ends. Grabbing Shattered Obsession now!

Amber Bray continues her narration of the series, capturing the essence of the story with her voice. I am loving her as she grabs us with thrilling suspense just with the evil inflections of her voice. And then in the next scene, she can create a feeling of love and passion. It's great performances like this that keep my interest and I am happy to have listened to her!

Molly is expecting to see Samuel when she opens the door but its his brother Adrien. He is very angry and attacks her. When Samuel does show up he starts fighting with his brother. A neighbor calls the police and it seems like that will be the end up of it but its not. Even after she presses charges Molly isn't completely comfortable with going to Samuel's home in case she runs into Adrien. Even though Adrien is in jail she just keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. What will happen is he gets free?

This is a great installment to this series. It ends with a cliffhanger that will have you yelling at your kindle. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

I thought book one was good but moved a little slow. I liked book two more. There was a lot more drama, action, and suspense. The storyline moved at a faster pace, too. Adrien lost his mind. He was in a really dark place and was delusional. His reign of terror threatened progress his sister, Brianna, had been making on overcoming a past trauma. He became a bigger threat to Camila. Would she, Brianna, and Samuel ever be able to rid themselves of Adrien's hold on them? This book ended in a cliffhanger so we'll have to read the final book in the trilogy to find out.

The continuation of Samuel and Camilla's story is getting better. There is more suspense, action, drama, and obsession. Adrian is in jail after his attempt to hurt/kill Camilla. Everything between Camilla and Samuel heat up and they become closer. Camilla is also becoming closer to Brianna, who is starting to come out of her shell. When Adrian gets out and kidnaps Camilla, Samuel will stop at nothing to get her back before more harm can come to her. Adrian is very unstable, twisted and a bit psychotic. Who knows what will happen now that he has taken Camilla. This is the second book and you do need to read the first book before reading this one. This is a series you do not want to miss.

Intense roller coaster ride

This is the second book in the series, and since I go this as an ARC and haven't read the first book yet, I have been guessing. That bring said, it still didn't disappoint me.I kept me guessing even more and even intrigued me to go and read the first one - even though I have read this first - and I definitely will !
A cliffhanger definitely, but it's worth it. Great and exciting plot here, very intriguing I must say. As usual, Roxy Sinclaire's characters are very engaging and they flourish throughout. A highly recommended read - the whole series at that.

Ohmigod...Roxy Sinclaire is definitely raising the bar with this Obsession series! Book 2, Tangled Obsession, leads us farther along this dark and twisted storyline where the characters keep you guessing and the HEA gets remains elusive. This book is really dark and suspenseful at every turn of the page. You won’t be able to put it down because you can’t wait to dive into Book 3, Shattered Obsession. Get your copy today! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and can’t wait for the next one!) ❤️❤️

This is the second book in this gripping series; and what a series it is! Dark, intense, suspenseful and emotional, this book and series will have you on edge and tense as you wait for that next shoe drop moment. This is a twisted tale of obsession, evil twins and romance. It has engaging characters and is well plotted. You must read through the series in order to get the complete story. Plus prepare for a cliffhanger because there is one. I'm really rooting for Sam and Camilla and can't wait for the next book. This is my frank, freely posted review.

The obsession continues and the suspense is captivating. Adrien's true colors are definitely revealed and so is his cleverness. It does seems a bit taboo to me to have twin brothers vying for the same woman but this is fiction and I like Samuel, he is very forgiving. Camilla does has some goodness in her and it shows as Brianna flourishes in her presence. Peace is no where near as the actions of Adrien are creepy like the feeling of someone following you but you don't see them when you turn around, lol. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.

So this book start right where book 1 left off. We get to explore the Romance between Samuel and Camila some more, but man do they lack some sexy times in their relationship. We also get to know more about Brianna, the twins younger sister. This story gets twisted and Dark towards the end of this second book, but this Trilogy is not your typical " Dark Romance". I look forward to the reading the last book in this series.

This is the second part of this amazing trilogy. Camilla is left broken after Adrien’s attack, and the harassment continues even from his jail cell. Samuel is determined to protect her from danger, and keep her safe, but is it enough? No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story which is thrilling, suspenseful, and an all round engaging read. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and cannot wait to read the final novel in this awesome series.

Tangled Obsession by Roxy Sinclair is the second in the Dark Obsession Series. It continues with Camilla and Samuel. I thought the first in the series was a little bit better than this second and found myself getting a bit bored in places that were leaving me holes. Although I knew the direction of the storyline it had its hits and misses in places.

Again, I think my only drawback was with the male character voices. The voices were not the best for me although Amber Bray did a nice job at narrating the story.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Samuel and Camila’s story continues and does not disappoint. You will be on the edge of your seat anticipating what Adrien is planning to do. He’s in jail for his attack on Camila, but for how long? Are Sam and Camila really safe or will his twin have something to say about it? Great read, loved it and can’t wait for Shattered Obsession.

This is the second book in the Dark Obsession Trilogy.
You definitely have to read the first one before this one
because it follows on from where the first book finishes,
Camilla has decided to press charges against Adrien.
Just as Samul and Camilla think all there troubles are over
they find out different. We find out a little bit about Samul
sister Brianna.
This is a very dark read that finishes up on a cliffhanger.

Tangled obsession is the second book in the Dark obsession trilogie. It was even better then the first one. Took me only a day to read it because I want to know what was to happen next. You defenitly need to read the first book in the serie before this one. Leave with a cliffhanger at the end. Looking foward to read the last book of this serie.

The second part of the trilogy also ends in a cliffhanger, but it is so exciting I cannot wait to read the third part. Samuel and Camila continue with their relationship and it is going great, that is until Adrian gets involved again. Adrian is very smart and resourceful. He wants Camila and will stop at nothing to get her.
This book is so suspenseful I could not stop reading.

Tangled Obsession is the second book in the Dark Obsession trilogy. This nail biting, twisted story had me on the edge of my seat. Adrien the evil twin is back and obsessed with Camila while Sam the good twin is trying so hard to protect her. The writing is beautiful, the characters are well developed and the story flowed right up to the cliffhanger leaving me wanting more! I can't wait to read the next book in this addictive trilogy. Wow! This book picks up right where the first one left off. And it’s go go to from the very beginning. Samuel and Camila think things are about to get back to normal with Adrien locked up. But little did they know that Adrien had big plans for Camila. I am on edge after reading this story and definitely getting started on the next one.

What a great addition to the Dark Obsession Trilogy by Roxy Sinclaire!! Samuel and Camilla can't escape Adrien's obsession with Camilla. This book is twisty, has surprises, drama, and a lot of questions that need to be answered. This was well paced and a page turner and even better book 3 is out now. We don't have to wait!! Thanks you, Roxy!!

This is a continuation from the first book and picks up from where the first book finishes.
Camilla should have went with her gut but she got what she deserved for going back to Adrien.
Samuel should have used his military training in this book.
I really wanted to bash Adrien's head in with what he was doing and how never really got caught with anything that he has done.i highly recommend this series if your into very dark romanc.

This is a trilogy that really needs to be read in order, this being book 2 I advise everyone to read book 1 prior to reading this. This author has written another wonderful book weaving ever deeper webs of deceit for her characters and keeping the reader guessing what is going to happen next. A brilliant read.

Entangled in what had become a nightmare, Camilla only could think dating Adrian was a bad, very bad decision. He would not cease until he got what he wanted and now all of them were in a dangerous situation. Adrien was out for blood! And what of Brianna? Exciting and intense scenes, suspense, dangerous situations, strong emotions, a surprise with a strong secondary character, a secret revealed, romance, passion and violence.

Awesome ending in the Obsession romantic suspense trilogy. These books need to be read in order. Ms. Sinclaire did an excellent job keeping readers on edge and rushing to read what’s going to happen next. The main characters were so well developed but I enjoyed the strength of the secondary characters as well. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this author.

Camila dated Adrien, but he was not what he seemed. Samuel is his twin and he and Camila now have a relationship.

I like this story. It is dark and there is more than just the twins drama. I enjoyed all parts of the story.

This was my first Amber Bray listen Her voice is easy to listen to, but the inflections and the reading style were difficult for me. I listened to the entire book, so she didn’t deter me from finishing.
