What started out as a relaxing summer weekend for a former Marine Scout Sniper and his children quickly turned into the hardest battle of his life, after a multinational conspiracy to cripple the United States, brings unintended consequences of unleashing a biological evil the world is not prepared for. - A mostly fictional story with a mix of technical sniper knowledge, geopolitical strategy, medical horror and military humor.

"Wow, what a ride! You obviously put a lot of time and thought into developing your characters and the story itself, and I think the end result is quite an accomplishment. The progression of events flows nicely, creating lots of suspense, and you’ve created some nice depth by using multiple perspectives. As a die-hard horror fan myself, I loved the Easter eggs you included throughout. Each one made me feel like I was in on an awesome inside joke. Great job!" - Editorial Team

I rarely see a good, accurate, military perspective but this novel has that. I’m not sure if the author had a good bit of training at the Ft. Benning school for wayward boys, but it felt like it. My few schools there are a long time ago, but many phrases and tactics matched. I’d certainly recommend for those who, like the genre, especially combat arms vets or active duty.
I liked the story and the characters but I could have done without all of the technical stuff. I can see how some people would appreciate it though. The reason I took off on Star was because of how the book didn't end and the author left it up in the air about when or if there would be another.
I read a lot of apocalyptic fiction and zombie fiction. This is a little rough around the edges but still a pretty good read. As a start to a series it has promise and expect the next will be smoother. This has god characters and a different enough story that koi can enjoy that it’s not a copy of previous stuff but a new slant
I found this book on kindle unlimited and thought it sounds like an interesting read and boy was I right. This book grabs you in a bear hug in the very first chapter and does not let go until the end. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer in his next book.
Good book with just enough detail to keep you interested but not overdoing the military jargon. I hate reading a book that seems like it is an ad for every end of the world piece of equipment that you need to rush out and purchase. Just a good book with real life people using common sense
A different take on the Zombie apocalypse but great one! This book was a little slow to start but once it gets going you don't want it to end. Cannot wait for the next one.
It was both educational and entertaining and it appeared that the author knew something about actual patrol or military operations And how they would be applied in this particular type of situation.
Wow. We seem to be headed to parts that are getting more interesting. I was a dedicated REMF . This the numbers game of beans, bullets and fuel are meat and potatoes to me. Great stuff here.
Absolutely a great book. A very exciting storyline with great characters. Haven't read any other books from this author but I will if he continues this story. I really hope so.
