Born in Bukittinggi, on July 3, 1950, Eileen Rachman graduated from the Psychology Faculty of the University of Indonesia, Jakarta (1983) and began her career as a Counselor at the Sumbangsih High School, Jakarta. From 1983-1986 she held the position of Head of the Psychology Department at the Dharmawangsa Mental Health hospital also in Jakarta. Feeling the need to broaden her horizon, Eileen joined Bank Umum Asia (which since has merged with Lippobank) (1989), where she was Bureau Chief responsible for Human Resource Development until 1989.
Deeply concerned about all aspects of the enhancement of human resources, business executives in particular, Eileen decided to become more actively, directly involved and established EXPERD (Executive Performance Development) in 1989, where she occupies the position of Director until the present day.
Her professional work is focused on the development of human resources, providing training on fundamental and current topics, recruitment process, corporate culture, as well as the development of organizations.
Her expertise has been shared and implemented in numerous well-established companies and institutions such as Bank Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Niaga, Indosat, Telkomsel, Infomedia Nusantara (Elnusa Yellow Pages), Garuda Indonesia, Quest International. In addition, several multinational oil companies such as Total Indonesie, Vico Indonesia, Shell and Unocal Indonesia add to her impressive list of clients.
Eileen Rachman is a cheerful and creative person who has interests in the arts and design field, as well as human resource development. She practices both fields smoothly in her position as Business Practitioner at Decorous Mitra Selaras.
She has written a number of articles on HRD topics published in femina magazine, Neo magazine and Kompas daily. She is also an expert consultant for SWA, Tiara, Intisari, Ayah Bunda, Harper’s Bazaar and Fit magazines, and the commercial television station Indosiar for the series entitled: “Jelita”, and “Wanita Bekerja”
