🤷📓
Why read this book?
If you are a big fan of Science Fiction and Thriller then it is a must read...If you are a tech savy then you should definitely read this!!!! Yup it has romance too don't worry!!
📒😵
As the title suggests it’s a novel that depicts the future of warfare. The protagonist Girish, an Ex-Computer Scientist comes down to Bengaluru to launch his own startup. But the tables turn and he ends up being hired by an organization named SCAR. Now he is on a secret mission that involves preparing a manual for possible future warfare incidents and being well prepared for to face them. I loved how the author depicts the power of weapons and how lethal can it be so as to take lives of an entire nation or so. The entrance of Neha and Aditi adds spice to the scientific thriller. I enjoyed Aditi's character. It's interesting how the Author uses the dates of the future so as to make the story feel more realistic. 🤓✌️
Somewhere while I was reading the book it made me feel like I was reading the future of the warfare.I appreciate the Authors hardwork and patience in collecting immense knowledge of future warfare scenarios, possiblely used future weapons, possible dangers and after effects, The minute details presented in warfare scenarios is what makes the read more realistic and interesting.
As a student studying computers I literally loved this book, to an extent that I read it in one sitting during my exams!! As I finished the book somewhere I felt that this book might actually end up being a reality. This thought was enough to give me goosebumps. It's surprising how we are slowly by slowly making ourselves completely dependent on technology in the name of comfort...And suddenly there will be a day that man can't live without technology...And technology stands as his weakness so much so as to destroy the entire mankind!!!
💜💜
The book was fast paced. It had romance, scientific warfare knowledge and thriller mixed in definite proportion!Waiting for Book2!I won't be surprised if the book is converted into a movie!

Book Name- Operation Maya: The future of warfare is here
Author- Girish V
Review- Operation Maya is a great novel which has a futuristic presentation for the readers. We all are so engrossed and dependent on our technical devices like mobile phones, PCs and laptops and there is much more on these devices store as a part of our private data than in our houses. The army is always at point with new inventions to take over the enemies and protect the country. Artificial Intelligence is literally taking a toll over our lives and no one could have ever imagined that it could be used as a weapon in wars. As the title suggests it’s the future of warfare. The entire story line revolves around the Character Girish who a left his work of Computer Scientist and came to Bengaluru to launch his own startup. Lesser did he knew what life had planned for him and he joined a secret mission. The start of the book was really interesting as it narrated the end of our enemy country leading them to a life of stone age again due to the vast destructions of war. This was the major highlight of the book as I was really eager to know what kind of weapons did they use that took the life of an entire country. The parts of Girish meeting Neha and Aditi was a good add on in the story as it maintained the spice in the book apart from the actual warfare zone on which the book is based. The entire concept is of a possible warzone in the near future hence all the dates mentioned in the book are yet to be lived by the mankind. The author has a really great vision in planning down such a story which might be our future. Narration is fluid and I really like the cover of the page.

The times of war with cliche weapons, military and missiles have passed away. Now is the time of digital war. The book is a fiction based on the Operation Maya by a Startup 'SCAR' set in Bengaluru. The narrator, Girish who is a computer scientist collects a team of people for the same. The team comprises of Aditi, Jacob, Neha, Prasad, Vicky, Major Rajeev and Colonel Amit. The aim of the group is to create a state of mass hysteria and disruption in the functioning of our troublesome neighbour Pakistan. The team achieves it by the use of artificial intelligence, digital weapons, drones, # PakistanCollapse. Also the plan is executed in various phases. The book answers the questions about how is it executed? How the word is impacted in digital chain reaction? What happens of the team?
The author has provided in new vision for the War trade and Patriotism. The best thing that I found in book was the expressive dialogues and conversation. Also the optimum use of jargons by keeping a layman's touch is commendable. The chapters are well distributed. Although the characters could be more elaborately explained. But surely, the book qualifies to be an upcoming web series. Recommended for the people interested in political science fiction.

Do you have a smart phone??
I know it's a very stupid question in today era but after reading this book you will start using a simple keypad phone but in the ending it won't help too.

Imagine a scenario where laptops, phones, banks, news channels and mass psychology were used against you and you cannot trust the government anymore. How do you save yourself against these next-generation weapons?
scared now?

The story itself will come true in very few years. This is no fiction, the truth about today's world.

To be honest I don't finish any lengthy ebook in one sitting because of to much headache and eyes pain but this eBook is wow.

Belive me after reading this book you will start shaking in fear.

In this book you will understand-

-Why superpowers would not use nuclear weapons.
-What are Psyber weapons and why are they so dangerous (Psyber is not a spelling mistake. It's different from Cyber).
-How social media can be used as a very powerful weapon against
-Why you, all companies and the government should take data privacy very seriously
-How can humans be turned against humans by using elements of mass psychology.
And many more things.

You can clearly see the author's research and hardwork in this book.

That's enough i really don't want to spoil the story.

Only one line is enough "This book is brilliant"

Operation Maya: The Future of Warfare is Here book authored by Author Girish V. Is thriller fiction. Title is apt and cover of book is great. As the book cover reads plot involves psychological and cyber warfare, the war of future. The plot was so interesting that I finished book in one sitting.
Plot is protagonist Girish is hired by a organization named SCAR for preparing a manual for possible future war scenarios and how to be prepared for the same.
So know more about Girish, his expertise and experience, his team, his strategies, does he succeeds etc. by grabbing a copy of the book.
Author's narration style is very impressive, characters are well portrayed and language used is simple. Author is successful in keeping readers engrossed in the plot till the end. Book gives details of future warfare scenarios, future weapons, possible dangers and after effects. Warfare penned by author for the book is a plausible scenario/situation in future, all countries should/need to be prepared against such possibilities. Plot is entertaining and engaging with a lot of surprises and a big twist in the end.

Enjoyed reading the plot and would recommend it to all fiction lovers.

Its beyond imagination

Operation Maya: The future of warfare is here is not just a story but the vision of the author on how the technology growth can help countries in offending their enemies. The story starts with Girish, a computer scientist coming back to India to start his own business. In Bengaluru, he meets his friend Jacob, a pyshocologist and he introduces Girish to three others, Neha, expert in banking systems, Prasad, an expert hacker and Aditi who is part of SCAR. In a view to do good to the citizens of India, Girish along with his friends agrees to create a defensive and offensive mechanisms for SCAR. His innovation led to mass destruction, how and why I cannot reveal.

Review:
- Attractive cover with all the setup designed exactly as narrated in the story.
- Apt and suitable title as Maya means illusion.
- Nice plot as it sends a chill through your spine thinking that it might be possible in the near future.
- Good usage of vocabulary but felt it to be a little techie but then that's probably needed for this kind of stories.
- Starting is very interesting and has the capability to keep up the reader hooked up till the end.
- The ending can't be explained as I have mixed feelings more of sadness and pity for the mankind.

Overall, a very good read and I recommend this story to all the Indians as I am selfish and don't want to give such dangerous ideas for other countries.

First half is more of like romance but second half is thriller and sci-fi. Role of Aditi in first half is very vital else people would have thought that this book is non fictional. I really loved this Bermuda triangle and roller coaster journey . You know know where the path leads and how many sub paths are in between. This book is a feast for weapons. Damn ,I myself felt like I am super jet while reading this book. Today's technology is such a boon to us! Author used simplest language which is an advantage for school kids ! Overally this is an amazing book which most of us will surely read it in one go itself.

The book is although not based on a non-common plot yet it has some stuffs that makes you think twice. It is a completely new and exciting story about the negatives of techno world. Book cover is okay but the matter is good. At times it seems really unrealistic but overall the plot is worth a read.

One of the best Science fiction novels I have read by an Indian Author. I started the book somewhere around midnight and realised the time when I saw the birds chirping outside!
Trust me, it is an addictive read. The author has successfully managed to keep our hopes up and delivered outstandingly. The use of characters, technology seem perfect to the context of the book.

Book Title: Operation Maya
Author: Girish V
Format: Kindle

Book Title:
The title of the book ' Operation Maya ' is exciting and mystical.

Book Cover:
The cover image of the book is a picture of a Hitech setup of a computer lab and also the image of a person facing the lighted sky. Both indicate a holocaust or an epidemic.

About the book:
The stunning fiction thriller is an attempt to highlight the chilling possibilities and eventualities of war in the modern, super-connected and technology-driven world.
The dawn of a terrifying age of Psyber (Psychological-Cyber) warfare where our own devices and institutions could be turned against us.

A serial entrepreneur, hacker, and AI researcher, Girish, presents a remarkable new-age warfare strategy in the form of a thrilling science fiction novel. The science presented in this book is backed by hard facts that were uncovered during his long years of research. The weapons described in the book exist today. It is just a question of "When" and not "How" the war would be fought with these extremely dangerous weapons.

My review:
‘Operation Maya’ by Girish V is a socio & sci-fi fiction that is very enthralling. The story acts as a though-provoking holy book to visualize the future of human existence. As a known matter of fact, there are pros and cons to new technology and advanced researches. But how many will ever think what will be life be if there is no internet forever? How will the communication be carried on if everything we do is hacked and destroyed? Did we ever think how a smartphone can be turned into a perilous weapon? The statement sounds foolish and absurd but many a time either in looks or movies we have seen how a mobile phone can be a trigger for the most dangerous weapons like bombs.

Not only about the safety and security of the nation, with some of the mishappenings in the country we tend to show dissent and hate towards the government. Are there any other ways to tackle the problems prevailing inside the country. But, for a change with the intervention of the Government and official. This part of the story is the most attractive piece.

There are happenings in the story where Girish, a computer science engineer himself is approached by the government to lend his hand in saving the country. In this very moment taking into account the above mentioned probable crisis. With his team, which has few more characters together they create a defense mechanism named SCAR. Using this ' Operation Maya ' breathes its first air. The rest of the story is to be read and enjoyed. As I do not want to give any more spoilers, I desist myself.

What I like:
1. The plotline which starts with a direct point towards the crux of the story
2. The language used in the story
3. The feel and look of the cover image
4. Various dangers to the humankind because of the technology and its advancements that have a scope to take place are well described.
5. As explained in the blurb, the idea of using a simple mart phone to fight against the enemies in a digital way is illustrated very interestingly.
6. The intelligent point of introducing female characters in between a gripping racy story. I wonder how everything has fallen into place. Kudos to the author.

What I didn't like:
There is nothing to dislike.

Characters:
Including the protagonist Girish, every other character is so real and pragmatically crafted. Nowhere during the reading, a reader will find the story is a work of fiction but a simulation of future Gen-X digital wars. Such is the poise with which every character is written.

Narration:
There are stories that make us think and react. There are some stories that make us gear-up the sleeve and recheck the coefficient of existence in this world. This book creates a jolt in the minds of the readers.  The thought process will definitely be effected after reading the book. It is indeed rare that the narrative of the story reflects the whole world's wrong direction of forward into the future.

Language & Grammar:
The rich vocabulary and quality of English langue are used in the story. Because of this reader of any age ill be comfortable reading the book.

My Final Verdict:
Story with caution and remedy!

Book Title: 4/5

Review:

Well, this is a story of a scientist who leaves his job in search of something exciting, just for that one kick of adrenaline. But little did he know what life is going to bring to him. Unknowingly he starts working, is employed for a secret mission. The book also mentions about our neighbouring country pakistan.
Is pakistan a country?
is humanity still prevalent?
What happened to the scientist?
Is life going to quench his insatiable thirst or going to throw him to some unfathomable mundane?

Thrilling isn't it?
To explore more you shoud try this. The book is having futuristic approach and is a must read for the science fiction and psychological thriller lovers. Benign language, commendable narration, what else do you need?

The story starts with the USA returned computer scientist Girish, who returned India to start up his own company and build a small team to do something interesting. After returning Girish met with Dr. Jacob a psychologist based out of Bengaluru and his childhood friend for a social visit. Via Jacob Girish met Prasad and Neha. Prasad a hacker, Neha a banking expert. And later he met Aditi an office secretary, whom Girish had fallen in love with. Aditi worked at a military office and recommended Girish to work for them. And after detailed information, Girish got a harmless military project where the only job was to run cyber tests via simulations and create a defensive and offensive approach for the treats from the future. Within months a team was created lead by Girish, with Dr. Jacob, Neha, Prasad, Major Rajeev & Vicky. After the project was completed, the earth shifted beneath Girish's feet and left him stunned and shocked to his core, the technology created was not only harmful to our country but to the world as well. So what will Girish do? Will he be able to disconnect the technology? How did he create such a terrifying weapon? Is it too late already to contain the destruction?

My Take:

Operation Maya: The future of warfare is here By Girish V is a story, of an age in the future of Psyber (Psychological-Cyber) warfare where it is shown that our own smart devices can be turned against us. I have always loved a suspense and thriller book with twists and turns, and this book Operation Maya didn't disappoint me. I liked every twist and turn and the logic used in writing this book is just outstanding. I like the details description of the Military and other background aspects which made it seem like a real base. The flow of the story that started from the end and then the beginning was the cleaver work to build the tension and eagerness to read the rest. I finished reading this book in a day. The ending of the book is worth reading and I just loved reading it.

Overall if you love thriller and suspense novels just like me then this is the best recommendation. Read now about the cyber attack that can change future warfare:

‘Operation Maya’ by Girish V is a triller fiction which will actually leave the readers thrilled. After reading this book the readers can actually imagine what our future will be like. With all this excess use of technology we humans have actually forgotten to have a look at the nature, meet our loved ones. Some might even relate that we sometimes talk on our phones while at home also. In such situations there is possibility that anyone could misuse this technology and bring havoc not only upon us but also on this whole world. And this similar situation takes place when the defence ministry appoints our protagonist Girish. He is a computer scientist and that too an excellent one and he been this task to bring ‘Operation Maya’ to life. What happens afterwards? Will it be possible to stop this damage? To know more read ‘Operation Maya’.

My Thoughts:

The cover page of the book is apt for the story it actually describes what the story is all about.

The title of the book is also appropriate to the story as Girish was given the task to create an illusion i.e. Maya.

The plot of the book is very thrilling it will actually keep the readers on the edge throughout the book. I can surely say that this book was a page turner for me. Each page has a twist and the readers will never be bored. The author has kept the story well till the end and I could never guess what was to come ahead.

The writing style of the author is very engaging. The book is written in a simple and lucid language the readers will find it easy to go through the book.
The characters are all well developed. The narration is very impressive. The readers might actually feel that there is a movie going on in front of their eyes while reading this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would surely recommend this book to all.

Operation Maya : The future of warfare is here
BY:- Girish V.
Operation Maya is a cyber technology based fiction with lots of goosebumps. It is like a roller coaster ride when there is always a curiosity to know about the next moment in the story.
It is a story based on cyber security or I can say cyber crime based scenario in which Girish is protagonist. He is an expert hacker and cyber specialist. Due to his qualities he is selected for most difficult work in this era protection cyber environment.
Would he successful for this mission ?
Who are the enemy of this country which can harm us by many ways ?
Operation Maya is full of suspense and nail-biting events which hooked ho the reader from its start page.
What is operation Maya related to and how is its purpose ? Discover a most thrilling adventure which author brings for you after lots of research and full efforts.
I really like the content and concept of this book. It is a fresh essence of thriller with complete engaging reading experience.
Did you ever hear word 'Game of drones' . Your answer must be no but this book is full of such amazing this which we can't imagine.

This book is a combo of lucid language, fantastic plot and amazing characterization.
.
The story is about a computer scientist who left his job and came back to India from the States seeking a work which can give him kick. Later, he got convinced to do a project for the defense sector of India called SCAR by his ladylove Aditi.
He was supposed to plan a defensive approach for any cyber attack the nation may suffer in future.
.
The plot is outstanding. The author has not included anything outside the storyline. Each and every thing was inter-related which reminded me of the stories of Sherlock Holmes. The characters were introduced well at the beginning. The language is simple and the dialogues seemed very natural. The story conveys the point that humanity comes above nationality.
.
Given that the book is a science fiction, the story is easy to understand by anyone as each scientific aspects has been clearly explained.
One thing that bothered me was how a story narrated by the point of view of first person can know or describe things which neither the narrator has seen nor experienced. I suggest the author to check it once.

Operation Maya is a best selling science fiction. Here we are given the view of the future warfares. In the future the wars wont be with nuclear weapons .

The book is written in two parts . The first part is slow paced romantic and the second part is sci-fi and thriller. The cover of the book gives a clear picture about the fiction. It is a sci-fi thriller with a touch of romance. Title of the book goes brilliantly along with the fiction.

We also find how in future the digital world could be used against us. The laptops, phones, social media, stock market, bank, news channel and mass psychology will be used against us. We will not be able to trust the government too. This story will come true in the near future.

This fiction is a brilliant masterpiece. We thank the author for his research and hard work on how todays technology can be used in shocking ways.

Operation Maya is an eye-opening, future revealing mirror, which is a must read for every technology savvy person out there.
The story reminds us of the fact that every time we come in contact with our favorite gadget, we're actually putting a lot at stake. Our data is at a risk, and we don't even think twice about this grave fact.
The protagonist of the story, Girish, leaves his job for working on his start-up. Little did he know what life was gonna make him,by introducing him to a secret mission.

The storyline mainly revolves around Artificial Intelligence and it's impact on the lives of us humans. The whole concept of this book is pretty futuristic and it talks about a time of perpetual warzone.

The author has done ample justice with the content of the book. The description of sophisticated situations is made easy, along with presenting a free flowing storyline. I am sure that every sci-fi lover would love to read this one!!

The story revolves around the Girish, a computer scientist. He comes to India after working several years in America. He had wish to do something for his nation and also gets an opportunity. And happens later will leave you dumbstruck.

Language used by author is l𝚞cid. Author successfully glued his readers to the book. Story is fast paced which makes it more fun
to read. Events in the book are held in 2022 and thus you get the taste of future high tech technology. Wepon mentioned in the book is far more dangerous than Nuclear . The love story in the book makes it even more interesting.

Every chapter in the book has twists or turns. I feel that characters weren't described much. That's the only lack I found in the book.

It's sublime blend of love, adventure, suspense, thrill.

For understanding the whole thing the readers must read the whole book!

'Operation Maya' is not an everyday novel that you read but something more strong and a book which has a lot to offer. Now for people like me who doesn't enjoy technical details, this was a bit boring but I will try to be neutral with the review. I loved how the author introduced his characters. Extensive amount of research has been done in order to write this book. The narration is gripping so it is really enjoyable. I liked the author's writing style. He put forward a topic which is less talked about in books. His presentation is beautiful. This book made me think of a possible future with no technology and it is scary. The book is not overdone. I really liked the cover of the book. I recommend this book to those who reads technological stuff. This book is not for everyone.

Operation Maya by Girish V is a fantastic book in thriller . The imagination of author is very innovatively presented in the book .
The cover of the book is very relatable and attractive . The story is based on warfare where technology is soldier . Imagining a situation where the citizens of a country is against their government , while reading the book I was very astonished about the use of technology . Every now and then there was something interesting to know to wonder about our knowledge and the imagination of author . While reading the book I was was getting the visual as I am watching some super power movie .
Middle part of the book is bit boring and lengthy but the ending was very interesting .

Operation Maya!

This book is one such interesting and absolutely exciting sci-fi book that will keep you hooked till the last page.

I read this book in a single sitting since could not hold my curiosity to know more and more. The description of different weapons is penned beautifully. Bermuda triangle, super jet keep me hooked and aligned to the story.

Surely one of the good thriller, SciFi that I loved reading. The language used is simple and lucid. Pace of book is good. Title is pretty interesting and coverpage is beautifully designed.

A good read as a free book on unlimited

The writing is amateurish. The plot is good. It just felt as if the story was rushed through and especially the ending. A few leaps of faith are required; ironically, this is where the fast moving plot helps.

My best wishes for the author, but mixed feelings on the book.

Book 2/52 for 2020

Girish. Your extensive knowledge of Cyber security and Morty Gritty has brought out a massive entertainer.
I finished this book in a single sitting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
The setting seems too real.
As I am typing this on my phone, my mind refuses to crawl back and keeps saying , "What if all this is true?"
