If age ain’t nothing but a number we’re two people, it would be Fabian and Heavenly. Some will say it’s taboo but Heavenly had no shame when it came to lusting after her son’s best friend. He had all of the qualities that she was looking for in a man plus he was slangin like a full grown elephant. They were explosive together the chemistry was undeniable. I’ve been wondering where we got the beginning of Miss J and Fabian’s story and they did not disappoint! This was a steamy short and got the job done and I honestly don’t have too much more to say about it 😏

Now usually, I would I'd root for my female MC to stay far away from a man with three children by three different women who all live in the same apartment complex but Fabian made it extremely hard root against him. He was charming, sexy and appeared to be a good father. And he definitely gave Ms. J a run for her money.

Ms. J was tough and used to calling the shots. Nobody told her what to do, nobody could put her in her place. If something didn't serve her, she simply walked away. I loved that about her. Life is too short to waste time on relationship they aren't working for you.

I love Heavenly + Fabian together. Their story was refreshing and they balanced each other out perfectly. This was a fun read. Endiya Carter rarely misses.

Older woman age gaps aren't usually my thing, but I didn't mind this one. Despite it low-key being messy AF 😩 


Fabian's dominance and his grown man energy just won me over. When he realizes Miss J is single and she might just be feeling him, he doesn't waste the opportunity. In the beginning when she was in her feelings about their age, he let her know he was not about to be playing with her. He made his intentions very clear, despite being her sons best friend 🥴. There were so many red flags about Fabian, however when he chose Heavenly aka Miss J he made the necessary changes in his life. This story was just enough and didn't overwhelm with the age gap being a factor which made it more palatable.

She mentioned this was her first book, not bad at all because I have definitely enjoyed the ones that have followed.

Age don’t mean a darn thing 😍😍😍

OMG the age gap was major but baby love has no limits and Fabian and Heavenly proved that. I was so mad at Mav for messing up his momma happiness but I understood but he made up for it. Now his father was a whole different story but when she checked him at the door I was okay Heavenly you better tell him. I am glad I got recommended this author because I have yet to read a book I did not love!!!

Good Short Story

If you know me, you know I love a good forbidden/age gap romance and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. This book was pure fire. I was all in my feelings reading this. Retired General Heavenly Jacobs wants what she wants and dares anyone to change her mind. I mean, it worked until she hooked up with Fabian Fisher. He is bold, sexy, younger and just happens to be her son’s best friend. No biggie. Right? I LOVE Heavenly! She was feisty, cut- throat and confident. I knew from the beginning that a timid man wouldn’t be able to handle her. Fabian though? He handled her oh so well. This book had me hooked from the first chapter and let me tell you, it GOT SO MUCH BETTER. It was scorching and downright sexy. I had to literally fan myself and force my dropped mouth shut from the heated exchanges. Ms J and my dude Fabian gave me all the feels and were so nasty. I hated that they had to hide their relationship because they complemented each other so well. Fabian was the calm to her storm and they made each other better. I was so glad when they finally got together. This storyline captivated me, I didn’t want to put it down and I hated when it ended .I am definitely going to read more from this author.

GOOD READ

This was a good short and spicy read. Ms J didnt let her age stop her from getting her freak on but when her sexual appetite is equally matched with her sons best friend, boy do things get heated. Fabian was just the man she needed to feed her urges at night. But what becomes a sneaky situation leads to feelings getting involved. Their whirlwind romance made for an interesting read but one thing we do know is that age wasn't anything but a number to these two and the love they developed for each other was all that mattered.

Weekend

This was a very cute love story. The sex scenes were so sexy and the cougar storyline I really enjoyed. A very few errors but the story flowed so well you barely noticed. I normally don’t like these storylines but the author did a great job to make me really enjoy it. I definitely recommend this book!

I didn't know what to expect from Endiya Carter's short His Weekend Special, but I definitely got what I needed and then some. I know Endiya Carter as a talented writer, but since I've only read her novels, I know that she has the space to really show her skills. So, imagine my surprise when I saw what she could do with 89 pages through His Weekend Special?! I would've appreciated a full length novel, but I understand that this one is short and sweet, so I won't complain. Given the character development as well as the pacing, I think His Weekend Special is a perfect example of what you're looking for when you want to read a short story. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and I recommend the story to anyone who likes romance with a lot of spice and urban themes.

Not sure

I'm not sure how I feel about this novella. An older woman falling for someone too close to her son's age. The idea is causing me to really think hard about whether I can deal with this storyline, yes,it's just a book, not real life.

BDE and a funky, nasty good time.
This was a quick spicey read and my first by this author. The story moved quickly as did the lust. Neither primary character was expecting their weekend lust to evolve into a full-blown relationship, but that is what happened. Granted these Cougar/Cub relationships are becoming more prevalent and are definitely not as hidden as they used to be. I think the author did a good job of packing a good amount of drama, angst, and chemistry into this story that didn't make me feel like I was short-changed. Good structure, good development, interesting characters, and off the charts chemistry makes this story one I would recommend.
