This book is amazing! This whole series is amazing so far! It has so many aspects going for it. It’s page turning and emotional! This author has the ability to suck you in from the very first page! It will keep you on the edge of your seat!! I can not wait to see what comes next for these characters!!

I might have given one of my best friends a heart attack when I told her yesterday that I had a date with three werewolves today. I wasn't joking though. Ever since I read the first book in the series last week I was counting down the weekdays until I could dive in this second book. I had truly fallen in love with Crimson and her guys in the first book in the series and the book ended with quite some cliffhanger, so I really wanted to read on.
I said it before, and I will happily repeat it, but Johns and I are a match made in heaven. She writes about emotions. She writes about characters who are far from perfect and who have loads to learn. She writes incredible journeys where flawed characters eventually manage to free themselves or others. And because of all that her books heavily focus on the feelings of these characters. And I want feelings. I crave feelings. I read to feel.
In the previous book Crimson was learning about the world she ended up in. She's still learning in this book, but she's not the only one. Her wolves are learning and growing too and it's quite clear that Crimson and her guys are equal in loads of ways and not just because Crimson says so. Their relationship might be not entirely healthy at times, but it's beautiful to see them fall in love with each other more and more. It's even more beautiful that this love is truly unconditional.
In this book we get to see a little more of the world of the wolves. We already paid a visit to the Wild Wolves in the previous book, but now we're also getting to know the God Wolves. And in a very typical Johns way Johns introduces us to interesting, layered, grieving, hurt and interesting characters. It's raw, it's painful, it's heartbreaking and it's quite clear that something needs to chance. I'll be rooting for our Crimson Tide to change the game and I can't wait to read how she's gonna do it!

Haunting... Another intricate tale lovingly woven with subtle subplots, angst and unspoken emotions. A captivating, takes your breath away, story that leaves you with a sense of wonderment and awe. Superbly rendered and one of my favorites from author Rosemary Johns.

Holy crap. There's so much going on in this second book. It seems that Crimson and her guys just can't catch a break. Not only do the wolves have it out for Crimson but the witches do as well. Through all of this a lot of truths are being brought to light, some surprising and others we could see coming. Even though they have several different issues thrown at them, it is nice to see Crimson and those that she cares for become closer, trust one another, and be willing to protect each other in any way possible. It truly shows how flawed the previous methods her ancestors used were. What I love about Crimson is that she never forces her guys to do anything that they don't want to do. They rely on each other which will only make them stronger. They will certainly need it as they face their next challenge and as Crimson comes to understand her power's full potential. I look forward to seeing how everything plays out in book three!!

Now doesn't Rosemary know how to keep you enthralled! Holy moly! From the moment you start on the first page to the end sentence, you are just totally immersed into this dark, dangerous, treacherous world filled with deceit, betrayal, and love. At times my heart hurt and other times it soared with pride for Crimson and her pack, I even think my soul left my body on a couple occasions!
Rosemary quite literally eradiated any assumption I had about what was to follow in this book and then proceeded to completely blow my mind with the complex scenarios, quite simply put Rosemary smashed it out the park! HOME RUN GIRL!
I think in this book you see Crimson and her men really starting to build a strong foundation of trust with each other that is repeatedly put to the test, poor sexy men never seem to get a break! I also love how Crimson is willing to put herself in harms way to protect her pack much to the disgust of her fellow witches and her ancestors. Not to mention continues to rebel and push hard against the wrong doings she witnesses, and is willing to battle for what is right even with such adversity.
I am full heartedly invested in this series and I'm not so silently routing for Crimson and her pack to kick some (more) serious butt!

Rosemary Johns brings us the second book in her Rebel Werewolves series. Crimson and her crew are in a pickle at the beginning but find a way to escape. Now, they are taking on the witches to help secure the eventual freedom of all wolves. They discover the true destruction that occurred from the prior generations of Wolf Charmers. Crimson is nothing like them…she would rather lead with love and trust than fear and genocide! Her pack have to constantly save everyone within the pack from trouble. The all love and trust one another…until one betrays them~ The unique perspective, story, and situations our characters experience can only come from this author~ As they defeat one faction another arises to challenge them and their beliefs. Only this time, vengeance and violence is not the answer…Crimson will have to come up with something to rescue all of them that will not harm their future plans! Whoever knew that becoming a Rebel Rogue wolf witch would be nothing but love and fighting! The factions keep underestimating Crimson and her crew! She is still not completely sure what the Crimson Tide is either…but she is learning many new tricks and powers! They will all pay for what they put her crew and her through! I received this book as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

And it picks up just after the first book ended With Crimson and her wolf pack being tossed in to the Wilds. Except one thing is different.. at the end of the first book Crimson's magic was blocked.
I love the wolf shifters.. Omega Prince Moon Crimson's first wolf charm, Omega Moth - Moons baby brother, the Beta Prince Amadeus ( 1/2 Incubus) Crimson's 2nd charm, Alpha Prince Emperor ( Cursed Alpha) and Crimson's 3d charm.. I also love the 2 Angels Mischief ( God and Mage) and Ramiel (an Addict) .. Then there Aquillo - a Mage and Crimson's fianceé.
I can not wait to see what happens in the next book of the Crimson Tide story line..

Once again Crimson and her pack are in trouble and she will have to find a way to protect her boys. Rosemary keeps us out the edge of our seats as we read this fast paced story with humor as well as danger. There are a couple of females that Crimson has to deal with that there elevator definitely doesn't go to the top floor they have got a severe case of the crazy going on. I really loved this book and look forward to book 3.

Wow the first book I found hard to get through and had trouble following the story lines, but ………

It was so much easier to follow and a much better read,

Wow wow wow. Rosemary has really done it this time. I'm so in love with Crimson and her pack. Could not wait to keep reading. 5 stars. This book packs alot of incredible scenes. Makes me wanna read again and again.

Drama, intrigue, distress, turmoil, danger and suspense surges as tension spirals thrusting this baby to life spectacularly. Diving head first, witnessing the trials and tribulations that tests our characters in ways they never saw coming. The chemistry sizzles from the pages and suck you in so deeply until you feel the heat and electricity thrumming through your veins. The personalities are well matched and blended with just enough flaws for diversity. Once again I am left speechless. With each book the characters, story your love and longing for more grows. Ms. Johns has a way of writing that makes you feel as if you are n the book right along side characters you love, and some you love to hate. I'm in love with witch/werewolf craziness and can not wait to see what's to come.

Crimson is a Wolf Charmer witch. She fights against her own coven for her pack; she does not want to become the Crimson Tide for the witches and refuses to become the Crimson Terror the wolves expect her to be. Her pack, which is mostly wolves (also includes a god or two) love her and she loves them. She is willing to sacrifice herself to save them if necessary! Wonderful fast paced fantasy, with excellent world building and characters, love, and a bit of sexy, a fantasy must read!

Crimson and her pack keep getting tossed around from one place to another for perceived "wrongs", first by the House of Blood and then to Queen Rhona. They really can't catch a break, and having your magic bound not only makes it harder to escape, but it's mentally taxing. If there is a positive in any of this, it's that a lot of things are coming to light, and while all of them might not seem good, it means that Crimson is learning much more about her situation and abilities that will help her down the road.
This book felt a bit different than book 1, Only Perfect Omegas, the writing style was often reminiscent of her Rebel Vampire series. There were a few times that I stumbled over that style because I wasn't exactly clear on what was happening. But when I look at the overall story, it makes sense to me. Crimson is learning what her role should be as Wolf Charmer. She's such a strong and assertive female it's impossible not to like her. I'm especially fond of Moon and of course Mischief and I love that Crimson has such a strong, varied pack. A well-written, great addition to the Rebel Werewolves series.

An exciting and fascinating tale to read that continues Crimson's adventures into her heritage. Her journey of discovery continues with plenty of action, emotions and multiple twists and turns. This story is well worth getting to read and discover for yourself how she survives the various dangers she faces. I enjoyed this tale enormously and highly recommend it as great to read. This is my honest opinion

Loved this book. I couldn't put it down. Moon, by far, is my favorite Shifter. Lots of sexual tension and it was really well written! I've found a new favorite author.

Crimson (FMC) doesnt have much luck with her family especially when they throw her to the wolves (quite literally!!). Being the Wolf Charmer with bound magic might make it more difficult to get her and her guys out of it too. So much. Going on in this book. I cant tell you but boy its so good. I love the connection and the sexual tension that all the characters have (please give Crimson more sexy times with her guys. It just seems unfair (only to me, lol) that she has all these guys but not much bedroom fun with them. As well as any of the guys with each other) Its a fabulous read though and im dying to find out whats going to happen next

Another sensational, sizzling book by an epic author. There comes a point when a favorite author will be your one click author. Rosemary is my one click author. I don't need to read a blurb or see a cover. I know her book will be amazing no matter what it's about.

Loved it.
Can't wait to read the next book. So much history that they can't seem to overcome. Yet Crimson is trying. Hope she makes it in the end.

Only Pretty Betas is Book 2 in the Rebel Werewolves series by Rosemary A Johns. Rosemary has continued this series in a phenomenal manner which is what we have come to expect in all her books. Crimson and her pack (the Charms) can't seem to catch a break. They have been exiled to The House of Blood, Kingdom of the Wilds wolves and are held prisoner by Queen Rhona, alpha queen of the Wilds. Crimson must find a way to save her pack and herself even with her powers bound. As usual, this is an extremely well written tale with plenty of action, a super strong and well developed female character (Crimson), lots of details, and colorful descriptions that keep this tale moving at a great pace. Once you begin this journey you will be in until the end and turning pages from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book and series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Crimson must find a way to save her pack and herself, not just from the wolves, but from the witches as well. This story will keep you on the edge of your seating waiting to see what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book.
