The new book cover can be found here.

When terrorists attack several US cities, Katie is sure she will be safe in her college town. She's wrong.

It's a busy summer break from college for Katie Andrews. She's a server at the fanciest restaurant in town, has an amazing internship with a hot graphic design studio, and is enjoying life with her boyfriend, Leo. Everything comes to a crashing halt when disaster strikes.

Through careful planning, Katie's parents have created a refuge in Wyoming—a place the entire family can go if the world falls apart, where everyone is sure to be safe.

But getting home means traveling over a thousand miles in this chaotic new world and revealing secrets she doesn't want to share. She knows she'll need to come clean when she arrives—not only with her family but with God.

Katie’s Journey is the second installment of the Havoc in Wyoming Christian Futuristic series. If you like fast-paced apocalyptic scenarios, engaging characters, and believable situations, then you’ll love this page-turning series.

The Havoc in Wyoming series has been described as “Cozy” Apocalypse and contains no profanity, gratuitous sex scenes, or overly detailed gruesome death scenes. However, it does contain conservative family values and references to God, prayer, scripture, and Christianity.

Millie Copper, writer of Cozy Apocalyptic Fiction and preparedness mentor, was born in Nebraska but never lived there. Her parents fully embraced wanderlust and moved regularly, giving her an advantage of being from nowhere and everywhere.

Millie Copper lives in the wilds of Wyoming with her husband and young son, tending chickens and attempting a food forest on their small homestead. After living off the grid for several years, they've recently gone back on the grid. Four adult daughters, three sons-in-law, and five grandchildren round out the family.

Since 2009, Millie has authored articles on traditional foods, alternative health, homesteading, and preparedness-many times all within the same piece. Millie has penned seven nonfiction, traditional food focused books, sharing how, with a little creativity, anyone can transition to a real foods diet without overwhelming their food budget.

The twelve-installment Havoc in Wyoming and six-installment Montana Mayhem Christian Post-Apocalyptic fiction series use her homesteading, off-the-grid, and preparedness lifestyle as a guide. The adventures continue with the upcoming Dakota Destruction series.

Wonderful book.

This series is great and I enjoyed the Christian faith that comes thru on the way the family comes together. It is a relief to not have to skip sections of sex scenes that most of the other writers seem to feel need to be described in detail. I finish one book and then get the next right away.

Katie's Journey: Havoc in Wyoming, Part 2 by Millie Copper

5 Stars

I'm so so in love with this series. I love how the author is handling these books and giving me a look into Katie’s journey home and how all that played out. I adore Katie and Leo. Leo was and is a surprise.

All the girls are home and life as they know it is just getting worse. I truly feel like Im right there while reading. I have the homestead all laid out and can truly feel the atmosphere.

There are so many moving parts in this book, it's hard to sum anything up and I feel I'll do that when I have finished the entire series. Things are definitely heating up though in the small town that always felt safe. A lot of characters, but not hard to keep up with. This just feels like everyday life, well…what I imagine everyday life would be like when things start crashing down around you.

One of my questions from the last book got answered. I found the Mitchells, and realize that their story is still not done, and I can't wait for more of them. Now I can move on to Mollie’s story and hope she comes home safe! And now I'm worried about Olivia…

Can not wait to continue this series…

This is a good clean read for teenagers and young adults. Older adults will enjoy reading it as well, I did. Although this character is fictional a person can learn many valuable lessons from her as we travel with her on her journey.

I would recommend this book to anyone, all ages. I like apocalyptic stories. I especially liked this one because it did not include a lot of violence although it was a realistic story. Katie, the main character, so being a Christian was not a perfect person. The story portrayed her humanity. I like that. There really isn’t anything I did not particularly dislike about this book. I will enjoy reading the rest of the series.

Incredible Writer!

Wow! I cannot even begin to describe how good these books are in this series! Truly one of the best writers I have ever read, with no no bad language, or ridiculous explicit sex scenes! However, these books may give you pause for thought considering the mess our country is in with so many socialists try to take over!

Great prepping information along with good character development, an intriguing plot, lots of character conflicts and stressors and well written dialogue. Looking forward to book 3

Fantastic

Really enjoying this series. Already purchased the next two. A little different than the usual post apocalyptic fiction in that everything doesn't go out at same time. And the community consists of many prepared people.

not as good....

I was close to giving 5 stars to book one. this on barley makes 4 start. it changers view point of th character from book one, and like the character from book one better. plus with cliffhanger from book one I skip first 25 chapters to find out what happened.

True art is carved from raw materials. Here the extended Caldwell family and friends begin to show their grit, as well as their humanity. It's not tin hat time, nor paranoid conspiracies when everything that can go wrong does.
Continuing the Havoc series, this novel really fleshes out each character, then bares them to the bone in spine chilling moments.

Still has some dialogue, and First-Person perspective issues, with minor spelling and grammar speed-bumps, but vastly improved overall.

Interesting, suspenseful

I enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series. Although we get some shopping/prepping in it there is also more action and character development. It is a good, clean Christian read about surviving when the US is attacked.

Book is well written. It has good prepper tips included in the story. Interesting way of telling story from different characters points of view. Kind of refreshing.

How this family works together in hard times is how they survive. Some repetition from the first book, but still very enjoyable
