Growing up in the northeastern United States I always thought that most people in the world experienced the wonder of autumn as the leaves turn spectacular colors. This book put that assumption to rest. There are only three places on earth that revel in nature's glorious autumn display and quite a bit of North America is one of those places. This book highlights most of the trees, shrubs and vines that turn vivid colors and also gives the times when the colors are most prevalent in certain areas of the United States and where to best see the fall panorama of lovely hues.
